Are you bought mi pad in China? As far as I know devices from China have different signatures, maybe that's why.

I bought the device in Germany. Delivery status was with EEA ROM. after unlocking the bootloader, I flashed the CN ROM. everything is going great. Just wanted to restore the original condition, but I've now decided to leave everything as it is. The CN has more features and never change a running system!

What kind of extra features you mean?
I remember some1 mentioning China Rom being not good so I am curious.

Hi guys,
Could you guys suggest to me a website that sells the xiaomi mi max 3 with EU rom? Or is it possible to buy a global rom and flash it with EU rom?
.

The rom from xiaomi.eu is not an official firmware, it's a custom rom based on China rom with some tweaks. You can flash it on both China and Global device.

I'm a bit confused. I just want to buy it so I can root and nandroid it if possible. So you suggest that I buy the global version then flash it with official EU rom? I'm confused.
before Global rom released tradingshenzhen used to have option whether you want your phone shipped with china rom or EU rom.
but ever since official global rom released, they only ship with global rom option.
you can just buy any phone with global rom and flash it with EU rom.
this required unlock bootloader wait time varies from hours to days.
there are guides about this everywhere.

Hi pakudaboy. So I can buy any phone with global rom and flash it with EU rom like you said. But you also said the bootloader can take hours or days to unlock if I flash with EU rom? Is this accurate? How is that possible?

hi there,
sorry for the late reply.
yes you can flash EU rom over global rom version once you unlocked your bootloader.
unlocking bootloader for xiaomi depends on your xiaomi account. if you never use that account to unlock before then it might take days of wait time to get verified. in my opinion it's all worth it. since Max 3 is a good phone in all specs (yes including camera with google camera moded)
just fyi, EU rom is based on china dev rom. and it has been stable for pretty much all users.

I wouldn't buy from those shops if you want a global device.
When you look in the reviews you see Chinese devices on all photos.
But if you are flashing EU rom is doesn't matter if you have global or Chinese device, hardware is the same, only the charger is different.
Edit:
At the moment Banggood is the cheapest:
https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-xiaomi-mi-max-3
They sell official Global devices. And when you choose priority direct mail you don't have extra import costs.

Hello everyone
I would like to know if is it possible to install the latest EEA ROM coming from the global stable rom.
I bought a branded version (SFR) there was an EEA ROM but branded.
So I've installed the global version using xiaomitool v2.
And now I don't manage to install EEA non branded ROM.
My bootloader is locked.
You can't do it without unlocking the bootloader. I wouldn't install the EEA ROM - while it saves 10 minutes of turning ads off, the global version has much better battery life and a fingerprint sensor that works properly.

The latest EEA rom seem to be more advanced as it is on 10.2.9 already and to get more updates.
Global is on 10.3.1.0. Neither has seen an update for several months, apart from an EEA version that aoft-bricked some phones.

The last global is on 10.2.2.
The 10.3.1 is not avalaible anymore because it has been withdrawned after problem of soft brick.

I dont understand how it proves that what I've said is wrong.
Anyway I can't install the eea rom for now. I'm still waiting for my bootloader to be unlocked.
my note 8t just had an ota update u.k 11.0.2.0 stable, has everyone else had this update.
Yea I got the update too, two weeks ago when I bought it in Germany (had MIUI 10 installed before but upgraded immediately).
But I guess the official miui download site has already a newer version: MIUI 11.0.3.0.
Checkout for the Redmi Note 8T EEA (PCXEUXM) as you got the EU version as well as me. The page says MIUI 10 but it is definitely MIUI 11. This version has a newer Android Security Patch level (December 19) and official theme support. I'm using it right now.
But there is also this page which got 11.0.5.0. I haven't tried this version yet. Maybe someone could give some feedback on this.
I also saw 11.0.4.0 floating somewhere on this Forum.
in settings on my note 8t it says miui global and not eea, iv heard eea version has less adds inside apps ? on my global you have to turn off adds in each app one by one, is it the same in eea, if not id rather have eea.

Hi. Can you relock the bootloader after installing Xiaomi.eu? I'm asking because i don't want to keep it open, will not experiment too much. Am mainly interested in default MIUI experience with all MI apps (dialler and messsages)...
Thanks.

Hello, is it possible to flash the China rom to a global rom device without rooting?
If yes, where I can get this China rom?
And:
Will the China rom work with the EU Providers? (In my case its Germany)
Thanks for your answers.
Best Regards
Dennis

Because I heared on the cn rom are more software features implemented.
Because face unlock and root without breaking fingerprint reader with the China ROM. I just tried installing Black Magic 5G on my global 12/256, and it's currently stuck in TWRP, won't flash anything correctly, won't boot, I'm assuming it's a global ROM issue, I'm trying to figure out how to flash the China ROM so I can start over and try Black Magic 5G again to see if that improves my results, so far I can't even get it to flash.
But if anyone wants it, I found a mega link to the latest China ROM that's suppose to be flashable through the factory recovery or TWRP. I haven't been able to get it working in TWRP, but if anyone wants to upload a TWRP backup of stock 12/256 global ROM so I can revert back to factory recovery and try flashing the China ROM that way, would be appreciated.

china rom will work on any region device.
Android 11 version of all 5G/S roms are universally able to flash.
you need to flash through system / local update, and you need to use the full rom zip.
...
features of China rom.
--China rom is bloated heavily with chinese apps that wont work in other regions due to needing a Nubia account ( which can only be made using a Chinese registered Phone number)
--these apps can be frozen / disabled.
there is no gapps / playstore. you need to install playstore seperately and then install the various google apps you use.
--stock rom you cannot change the launcher without doing some little tweaks.
-- NFC does NOT function in China rom, if you use NFC or want to use NFC, you will have to return to Global.
you do not need to root, or unlocked your device to change regions. just make sure you're locally updated to android 11, and install the region rom you wish through the system menu.
Hi guys,
I've bought a Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G, supposaly global edition, that has MIUI 12.5.3.0 installed.
My phone is the model M2007J17G and MIUI version says it is MIUI Global Stable 12.5.3.0(RJSEUVF)
I've tried to update using recovery roms from Global and Europe without any success, the message it appears is that is not a valid ROM.
Can you help me please understand what ROM my phone has installed?
Best regards
