Don't know who needs to hear this but I just updated the Mi file manager in play store and they seem to have fixed the low fps issue. No need to set logger buffer sizes to "off" anymore.
Smooth 120 fps all the way! Nice.
Running on miui 12.5.5, no root.

Hello WFS users!
As you all know, user Henry_01 relased MIUI v4 recently. It is a very nice rom, but it have some bugs like music player won't load mp3 files, deep sleep not working, and rom is little slow. BUT, in this tutorial I will show you how to fix these bugs without making some changes in code.
First, I would like to say thanks to Henry and wfsdev team for porting amazing MIUI v4 to WFS!
How to get my music player to load mp3 files?
Well, when I installed this rom I have noticed that music player won't load mp3 files. Bcos of that I went back to CM7, but that was a big mistake.
All that I and every one of you need to do is to download music player with build in decoding. TTPod is great music player and it is not force closing like one user said. It is working like a charm and you can listen to music.
Okay, one big bug solved
How to get deep sleep to work?
Without deep sleep working your battery life will be poor, bcos cpu will use 245 or 120 MHz of power all the time. How to get it to work? Well, it may sound stupid, but for me it worked disabling auto rotation in display settings. If that doesn't work than put your phone in airplane mode and enable wifi.
How to get better performance?
Overclock cpu to 806 MHz and select performance governor. Then download ram manager and activate balance option. Your performance will now be better.
Why my camera isn't working?
If you get message like 'Can't connect to camera' or something like that just reboot your phone.
Some more tweaks
Here are some more standard ICS tweaks.
If you don't want to get apps force closing go to Settings - Developer options - Background process limit - At most 4 processes. You will have to do this after every reboot.
To make more internal storage use data2sd for cm7/cm9. Or use link2sd if you don't have powerfull sd card.
Last row on the screen can't show widgets in full size. To fix that use LCD density modder and change resolution to 140.
If you have and sugestions fell free to tell me, and feel free to press Thanks button
Thanks for letting me know
- Now fixing deep sleep, thanks modpunk for saying how
- Music player is fixed
- Implementing new kernel for better performance
- Maybe fixing location and gps too

Hello, respected developers!
As the topics concerning camera app are slowly fading down, I start a new one here.
I tried both existing mods/apps of a 4.1 standard camera and a custom apps like lgCamera. Still I can't get 25 fps in recorded videos even when I set it to this particular value. I can get it when i use AxelVoyager in-car videorecorder, but it's quite buggy and not that common-to-operate and this setting must be applied manually every time before I start record.
I need this 25 fps setting because my other video recordings are in PAL (25 fps) and it's not a common task to convert fps correctly to match each other.
As far as I can understand with my many-years-ago-IT-background, this should not be a problem for an experienced person to compile a version of a standard camera app with pathced media profiles that have 25 instead of 30 fps in 1080p and 720p HD media-profiles. So I kindly ask for that.
Thanks.
I noticed that some games like Asphalt 8 do not use native resolution, but are in low res although video setting are set to highest.
I'm on a stock lollipop, not yet rooted and Knox 0.
Is it a common issue? How to enable native resolution?
Same here on Tab S 10.5

same here since lollipop update, any solution? cheers.
galaxy tab s 10.5, sm-t805
I have also experienced this behavior in Asphalt 8 since I have updated to Lollipop in the beginning of December 2015. I am on IronROM 2.5 which is TW-based Lollipop 5.0.2 ROM.
Interestingly, in some rare cases I was able to play the game in high quality. I have noticed that at least in one case the battery was full when I started playing game. But most of the time the game has been in terrible quality and sometimes even in this low quality it is lagging. Having the battery full is not a guarantee that it can be played in high quality.
I have found out that when I use Link2SD, and I enable to use Android standard "fuse" filesystem for internal storage, instead of Samsung's standard "sdcardfs" filesystem, the lags are getting worse. So by restoring the Samsung's sdcardfs filesystem the lags are not so bad.
But I was unable to force the game to go into the high-quality mode. I have even used integrated tool Hulk-Kernel STweaks to set CPU governor to "pegasusq" or "ondemand", and also set min and max CPU frequency to 1900 MHz and GPU min and max frequency to 733 MHz, but it had no impact on gaming performance in terms of graphic quality. Before starting the game I have also used task manager to free up memory (so I had some 1,8 GB of 2,71 GB used which means still some 900 MB free).
I guess it has something to do with Lollipop but I am unable to find out what is the problem.
Seems the last game update (2.3.0i) did the trick. Asphalt running on high res again. Brgds.
low res

Not on mine... Here still in low resolution... Anyone have a trick?
Is there anyway to mod MIUI in Mi 10T to fix FPS to 120hz always?
Have you found any way to do it?
Games that are locked 60 fps (like in emulators) play horribly stuttery in 90 and 144 hz. They play ok in 60, but the touch screen response is very laggy at that refresh rate.
120 hz would maybe fix the issues (being double 60 maybe i could use some tweaks inside emu app to make it all smooth).
OnePlus capping game fps to 55, reducing cpu and gpu clockspeed to the lowest possible whenever battery temps are close to 40°c or above. So users who have a habit of playing games at 90-120fps can face this problem. For now the only solution is to uninstall system battery app, root device and use some kernel manager app. Here i have attached few screenshots with an app call Scene 6 to show how badly it drops. So the only hope OnePlus users have is to have a custom rom where we can get rid of these issues
apex , call of duty , and co are not games that need mega fat clocks to run at 60fps (most games that run at 120fps can only be played at 120fps with low graphics settings anyway) you better use scene app check it out whether the scene app with fas is not your problem. or if your environment is too warm
And ps
This is not normal cod mobil he play it with modding like fps unkock for playing it with 120fps on max Graphics setting plus scene in performance profile plus vivo thermal disabler
