Heya XDA commuity
ive been looking for days to find a android 12 rom to test fire but havent been any luck. i have the oneplus 3 A3000 is there no support for android 12 on it cause of the hardware?
im also running PixelExperience 11 Plus, the Developer making the rom for this phone dosent seem to be updating it anymore and has the status of PixelExperience 12 in Beta testing but no downloads.
i hope i am in the right area for the oneplus 3 forums
Qualcomm ended the kernel support which means no more stable updates. They could get something that looks like A12 but it wouldnt be stable, example Galaxy S2, has Android 12 but its experimental and really bad battery life.

Is there any way to get some of the MIUI apps on OP3?
I had OP2 but lost it couple of months ago and decided to buy a Redmi Note 3 pro while waiting for OP3 to come out. Now I have OP3 but really miss some of the apps from MIUI like Music, Notes, File Exp.... they are far better IMO then OSS default apps or anything I can find on PlayStore.
You will likely have to wait for an MIUI ROM. With good support and development for this phone, a dev out there may well bring MIUI to this phone with the latest patch ROM.

Hope to see a mui rom soon. Maybe the devs wait for Miui 8 to come out and port. Till now all Oneplus devices got miui.
A lot phones are getting unofficial Android P Beta 4 ports
So I was expecting any Dev to work on that and also project Treble support

Why the hurry? If you wait, you will get P stable on 3/t.
Treble may be a no-go.

It's not that I am hurrying or something
It's just that some devices that are getting project Treble support and unofficial ports of Android P are just budget devices and kinda feels weird when a flagship like the OnePlus 3/T is not one of those devices to test the new version of Android
Unofficial Treble support is kinda pointless, dev community will make it work anyways, just like all the years before. That's mainly beneficial for manufacturers as they have limited resources (focusing on newer devices). Treble is there to make upgrading to newer versions easier, so it never made sense for OP3 as it's EOL, only getting security updates from now on.
Wait a few more months and we'll have custom P ROMs all over the place, no need to hurry with half-baked betas.

Yes , my redmi note 4x and redmi note 5 pro run Android P dp5 nearly bugless. But my op3 ?
I've been using pixel experience for a couple of months but i think lineage os is a little snappier so i decided to switch back but I can't find the official build for it anymore, the device is nowhere to be found in the supported device list. Is this the end?!!
Yes. Maybe they will move to redmi note 7/7 pro.
They sure dropped this phone fast, its not even a year old. And besides the RN4 is still supported but not the 5? WTF
And theres still no global RN7 version either so why the rush.
One reason could be that many developers of this phone got an upgrade to flagship level phones like Pocophone F1. I'm assuming the official Lineage OS developer was one of them, which may have affected the update intervals and features with time. Maybe that's why the Lineage OS team chose not to keep this phone on their list. (Unless if a developer invests their skills and time on this).
Also, Lineage OS also didn't stand out that much in this device's forum because of Custom ROMs like Pixel Experience, HAVOC, AOSIP, and OEM ROMs like Oxygen OS and Samsung Experience. These developers have contributed so much that Lineage OS was not really needed that much. (Please Thank these developers on the forums and donate, if you can. They really have worked hard on this)
I could be wrong but it must be related to either of these things.
???
Does anyone has the last official build? is not on the official page anymore
Might be time for Xiaomi to get their **** together and release miui for the mix 3 5g.
You know the Redmi K20 had Android 10 with MIUI 11 before they released MIUI 11 beta to any other devices, right? Redmi is their second tier brand....
I'm ok with a delay as they have a lot of phones to update, but it makes zero sense for the flagships to not have the update first.
Agreed. It's also irritating that they charge more for the Global phones, but they are usually behind the Chinese software on updates. I have been considering resigning from the beta team and switching to running the Xiaomi.EU Android 10 based rom since it fixes a number of problems I've been fighting for over 2 years with Verizon and Xiaomi phones (don't get me wrong, I knew it was going to be a fight in the first place).
I have 11 on my mix 3 4g I know globe rom has the 5g variant listed.
Fastboot of MIUI 11 are now available for the 4G Mix 3.
Hey, so i was just wondering. When's gonna be the stable pe 13 be out?

You created a thread for this
I highly doubt OS v13 will be released on the OP 7T due to it's age - for some reason a Indian version of OS12 was pushed to my OP 7T and caused all sort of weird-ness... It frustrated me to where I cannot believe OPPO did this and forced me to go to Pixel 7 Pro. The only thing I dislike about the Pixel 7 Pro vs OnePlus 7T - I have to use an app, AutoMate, to set a ringtone for each of the installed SIMS while this is handled at the OS Layer on OnePlus (many other vendors) Devices.

It isn't.
1+ isn't going to be rolling out a 13 based OOS (or whatever they're calling it now) for the 7 series
