To Flash the TWRP:
if it's the first time you flash the TWRP or you are getting problems of TWRP lost or device doesn't boot after flashed magisk or something else you need to flash a script to patch your vbmeta:
VBMETA PATCHER
To flash the TWRP:

Then reboot in TWRP manually or using a fastboot command.

Flash the VBMETA PATCHER and reboot.
REMEMBER: is important that from fastboot you directly go in TWRP mode or the TWRP will be overwritten.

Note that two kinds of builds are available. The only difference between these builds is that one does adjust for the notch space and adds black border on top and the other TWRP shows as full screen.

Yes, just remember to flash vbmeta immediately after you flash the magisk otherwise it will show recovery destroyed error

You would be okay with los vbmeta or any vbmeta for that sake. Just use the flags before flashing. I added FAQs in the original post just now.

Seems like there's issues with vbmeta. Use the vbmeta that's pinned on the wiki

How did you unlock Realme XT with Android 10(realme UI) ...the Deeptesting app isnt working for unlock bootloader
Is there Process for Android 10 unlock before we flash TWRP and vmbeta img from other blog ?

Please refer the wiki. You should unlock on pie itself. That way you have unlocked bootloader on 10.

Why there is no 10 based custom roms for xt? Can't devs can port custom roms of realme x to xt atleast? The fingerprint issues are already solved, right?

A week back we didn't have a wiki page, a backup of the stock recovery, a stable twrp. It's only been a week now since these work were done. On top of it, realme is not very proactive with the kernel sources. But its only a matter of time since we bring up lineage 17.1 or pixel experience. We are working on it.

This is a patch for fixing some bugs in semi-GSIs (MIUI, OxygenOS), in order to make them more usable for daily usage.

WARNINGS:
Only flash this zip AFTER flashing Project_SpagetX by @ananjaser1211 and sGSI.
Only use this patch on Android Pie based sGSI only. Flashing this patch on Q and newer is known to break some features.
This patch cannot be used for G610x variants! They have so many issues that renders this patch useless.
Flashing this patch on a normal GSI (AOSP, PixelExperience, etc) is useless and may cause more bugs, so don't!
Some sGSIs are too buggy to use for daily basis, even after flashing this patch. In that case, find another sGSI or compile one yourself.

Also im using stock A9 firmware (V11.0.3.0.PGGEUXM) because the CFW has too many bug yet.
U using A10 but atm discharge too fast the phone and there is not relevant upgrade so i suggest to downgrade.

Question How to safely update the stock rom while rooted?

I've looked over a bunch of tutorials and whatnot but i can't find a definitive guide on how to update a rooted xiaomi safely. I have a Poco F3 on MIUI 13.0.3.0 (SKHEUXM) with magisk 25.2 installed and a few modules. TWRP is not installed at the moment. I previously tried to update the phone from an older version to the current one via TWRP, but because i used the vault on the stock poco launcher i had to do a factory reset. Can I install the update via the stock updater option if my phone is rooted (with modules) and i have the stock recovery? What are the steps?

Hi,
I removed Stock MIUI as soon as the 7 days boot loader unlock was over (13 months ago) and moved to Xiaomi.eu roms, but then i found out that MIUI restricted non Xiaomi devices to be used as a trusted device, i then moved to custom roms, i am currently running the AMAZING Evo-X 7.3 rom.
Coming back to updating MIUI I would try updating via O.T.A, if this is not working then head over to Xiaomi.eu and updated via Recovery, https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...lti_HMK40_POCOF3_22.10.26_v13-12.zip/download,.
Xiaomi.eu roms have a lot of the bloatware removed apparently and the latest updates.
To reinstall root is straight forward as long as you have fastboot, you could try my post on the Evo-X thread and use Temporary Recovery,

If you have apps that you would like to transfer onto your new rom, i would suggest that before you install a new rom and your faced with format data, to use MIGRATE-GPE (its 3 separate programs) ROOT is needed, this is free and is on google play.
I would also suggest to ditch MIUI as it is restrictive and move to the AMAZING Evolution-X rom.

I guess doing a backup of the internal memory won't be a bad thing before doing the OTA update. If it works then I'm moving to some other custom ROM immediately.

UPDATE: the OTA update worked perfectly and there was no need to do any backups (although I did). Thanks @johnr64 for your help.
