i can flash all twrp on xda for ivy but they all freezing in splash screen
first time this happening to me
i hope its soft brick
cause if my hard chip dies this phone not worth fixing in my country (too expensive)

if you are coming from stock and have encryption enabled format data (Note i said format, Wiping it in twrp is not the same as formating it)
wipe cache, dalvik cache and system
flash LineageOS
If you want to have gapps flash them right after flashing the rom before first booting
Reboot the device

Magisk
Magisk boot images are provided in this google drive folder named beyond*lte-boot-magisk.img you can flash them on boot slot and install magisk manager, No need to worry about rebooting to recovery or not having TWRP and magisk at the same time, Just make sure you dont try to boot to system with magisk patched TWRP as that might cause issues but as long as you have stock twrp and have flashed beyond*lte-boot-magisk.img image to boot slot you are fine, Source for given kernel is available at GitHub if you want to compile kernel yourself just run source build.sh devicename e.g. source build.sh beyond2lte, It will produce new boot image in build/ folder, To update magisk you can follow instructions given at this commit enjoy
Do note that you will have to reflash magisk boot image when updating rom

Battery life should be fine with stock kernel too as most of things are improved power hal side of things

Hi I don't know why but on previous lineage os ROMs, when I use TWRP and boot.img it would always boot back to recovery everytime I flashed a ROM.

Can you use lineage recovery to flash ROMs?

make sure you followed instructions closely
1. Download recovery image
2. Download magisk canary app and patch recovery image
3. Flash magisk patched recovwry image (lineage recovery) to recovery partition
4. reboot and hold key combination for recovery until first warning screen shows up, after that release key combo
5. you should be in system with root
if you need further assistance im sure someone from telegram group can help you a bit more

I did that but I still have no magisk

SD cards on the s10e just dont work, they keep saying its corrupted even after you format them in android itself ive also tried formatting in windows and twrp but same problem.
network traffic indicator can be turned on but never actualy shows up.
after installing magisk it takes apps 20 seconds to open.
if you need logs i will be happy to do so (if i can remember how to do so)

Thanks for the great work! Awesome to have Android R available so early. Rom is solid.
On S10e i can confirm, it does not read MMC, i also tried formatting etc, not a biggy
On Bluetooth i can confirm that devices working, headphone sound, speakers etc. But on call when phoning, the sound does not come over to the headset.
HDMI Out is glitchy, creates flickering on secondary display, but is random....
Other than that, the rom is smooth and fast. Still checking battery...
Looking forward to developments...

i just flashed my z5 (e6603) after first boot system was little bit slow but after a 30 second it worked perfectly (other than bugs) nice work keep it updated

Hello, Tarkzim you're a amazing dev, I tried it out on my E6653 and it's really smooth, thx for the great job!
I found below problems:
The Gapps isn't working for me, I tried the core, basic NikGapps and no one work, it quit before the login screen show(click sign in, Checking info... quit).
Default browser neither working, it close every time launch it.
Once ROM flashed and phone booted for first time it go directly for homescreen, no set-up wizard.

Hello, I am using Sony z5 e6603. I am getting this warning when installing Rom. "Warning: No file_contexts E3004: This package is for device: E6603, E6633, E6653, E6683, sumire, sumire_dsds; this device is. Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file ..."
How can you help with this?

I couldn't transfer files from pc to the phone(turned on USB debugging and changed into File Transfer but no device showed up in explorer), and also after signing in with my google account, google play didn't work ( freezer on the logo). So I went back to 18.1. I'll be waiting for a stable version.

I'm a dev/user of another MSM8974 phone, LG G2.
The LG G2 has LineageOS 18.1, but could you please tell me which patches you required to boot Android 12 on the kernel/device tree? Just looking at your trees it seems like there are many upstream patches applied, and it looked to me that it might be the case where only some of them are essential for boot.

For now, Camera HAL loaded correctly but you can't see preview in camera apps, especially stock Camera app, Install Open Camera will let you "Capture" the photos with "23MP" resolutions magically. But I have no idea how to fix viewfinder/camera preview at the moment, at least some progress has been made huh?
Bring back more LiveDisplay features, without breaking CPU deepsleep.

Nope, aside from battery drain which is quite expected considering I didn't change it for 5 years, everything else seems quite normal.

Issue I had with most recent build of Lineage 18 was that voice messages were not being sent on WhatsApp. They were empty no matter what. I had Audio permission On for whatsapp as well. But still. Hopefully will be fixed in Lineage 19

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
NikGapps have been updated to 13, you might need to clean flash if you used other gapps in past including nikgapps 12.1 version
Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12/13 support

Would Titanium Backup version 8.3.3 work on this version ROM ?

Having trouble with "keepass2android" on this ROM.
Problems are not unexpected, just wondering if anybody else has a problem, any suggestions.

Thank you Ivan for your work. But I think the ROM isn't ready for daily use. Standby battery livetime 6 hours only instead of more than 20 with LineageOS 19. And a lot of crashes in apps like K9-Mail, Filemanager+, Google search,... I go back to LineageOS19 and wait for a stable release of LineageOS20.

Keep in mind that some apps need to be updated to be compatible with android 13. This is mainly not a rom issue. The app developers need to update their apps as usually on every major android update

From me a big thanks to Ivan too, but I have exactly the same issues.
The battery drain is very huge. While watching YouTube it is like 0.5% per minute.
The App crashes are really weird, sometimes they crash permanent sometimes they dont and after a few restart is working again.
Contacts importing wont work because of missing rights, somebody knows how to fix that?
And sadly while making a phone call the called person is hearing a hugh echo.
Keep in mind, to go back to Lineagos 19.1 you have to wipe all data or you will enter a boot loop.

I know this, but the mentioned apps are running on a Pixel 6 with Android 13 without problems. So I think it's a ROM issue.
