MDP/recovery Mode
hold vol down and hit the reset button next to the sim card keep hold vol down till you enter MDP/Recovery mode
FastBoot mode
hold vol UP and hit the reset button next to the sim card keep hold vol down till you enter Fastboot
APX mode
turn device off. Press power while holding both Vol buttons (note nothing is desplayed on the screen)

hi everyone i have a major issue with my rooted gslate.if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. i downloaded cw from the market and when it askes you for compatibility i accedently chose the option (lg optimus 3d) thinking it was for my gslate and now after i turned off the gslate and go to turn it back on its stuck on LG blackscreen and says
[HasValidKernelImage] Magic value mismatch:
[DetectOperatingSystems]kernel image is invalid !!!
Starting Fastboot USB download protocol
Ive looked all over the internet and cant find anything to help me out so please can someone help me.
maybe a way to nvflash the proper kernel back. sorry for posting here but the best help is on xda

How? cos i have a similar problem. ie: where did you get the original boot.img ?

I couldn't enter recovery mode with vol - and reset button. I had to use Vol - and the power button. Just a heads up. Also, what happens if you don't have an update.zip file on your SD? Does it then go to a recovery menu or is there no recovery menu on this device assuming you have not installed CWM?

dl mode

I know that u can enter download mode without a battery....isn't it holding down volume down and power button and plugging in a PC?

Download mode can be entered by pressing HOME+VOL DOWN+POWER.
Not sure, though, if you would be allowed to go into Download mode without the battery. If it works, you would need to press the buttons (and keep them pressed) before you plug the USB cable. Buttons have to be pressed before power comes in.

Power button not working on fastboot mode

I can change boot option with volume buttons on fastboot mode but can't select them. Power key doesn't work. Does anyone have this problem?

You need to long press power button in bootloader to select an option.

Power Button not working in fast pot mode
Hi there, same thing toate me. If I presa PowerPoint button sport - nothing, in I press a bit longer - nothing. If I press long...the sistem reboot.
How can I enter in this fastboot mode?!?

A50 stuck in bootloop, can't go into recovery or anything else... need help

So I wanted to root my device, and i did the steps till i flashed twrp(unofficial one for a50), i was at this point: To get out of Download mode and Enter TWRP Recovery mode: Press and hold Volume Down + Power key, when screen blanks release Volume down only and quickly press Volume Up key. As the screen blanked out i also accidentaly let go of the power button... bootloop since... I can't do anything, can't use recovery, can't use download mode, cant connect to it with my pc using a cable. so either i wait till the battery dies or i find another solution...

1. Unplug USB cable from phone.
2. Hold down power button till it shuts off
3. When it's off, hold vol up + vol down & Press power
4. It should boot to download mode.
5. Load stock rom for your model (Check the variant to make sure)
6. All is back to normal again.

I waited till phone died, then realised i could get it into download mode. busy downloading stock rom now. thanks anyway though, confirms my solution!

Access Recovery mode on IQOO 3

Power off your phone, then press and hold Power button and Volume up button simultaneously to enter Fastboot mode. Then select Recovery mode by pressing Volume down button and enter it by pressing Power button.
