There was a request on Mi community forums in 2019 to provide XInput support in MIUI so people can use gamepads/controllers with their Android devices ( https://c.mi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=2686293&mobile=2 )
Is there a ROM for Mi 10T Pro that supports DInput and XInput?
One would have thought it's a basic thing to include given that controller support in Android is supposed to be excellent, just why would MIUI exclude it from devices capable of gaming otherwise!?

Can anyone port the stock MIUI camera with dual camera support and potrait mode for the front camera. All the other apps I tried on my Redmi note 5 Pro running AOSP Extended are either unusable or really bad. So if anyone can port the stock camera app from MIUI it would be really great.
Peace
Once the Mi A2 Launches I will be porting it into a magisk module.
Since the A2 should use the same camera app the stock app that the RN5 uses, however the A2 will use stock android so the camera will not depend on miui functions/apps.

Thanks man really appreciate it. The MI A2 and A2 lite launched today and MI A2 lite has the same camera configuration as the Redmi Note 5 Pro (12mp+5mp) but it has a 5mp front camera

Yep just waiting on Xiaomi to post the stock rom files.
I am a big fan of my Mi 9 SE. But there are two things that disapoint me:
1. The MACRO MODE never made it (yet) to my device. I have MIU global stable 10.3.4, and there is no macro mode tk be found...
2. The lack of PRO VIDEO MODE in the camera is very puzzling to me. PRO MODE is already present in the camera, why not for VIDEO too? If Xiaomi does not intend on adding pro video, at least they could release the SDK for other devs to have access to all lenses, so we could use alternate Camera Video Apps that have full manual features....
Now that we have optimized kernel for battery, I think the weakness of this phone is video recording which is too unstable.
Still no pro mode for video even on the latest MIUI 11
Hi All
I have ordered Poco M2 pro recently (6/64) at a pre-exchange price of 12339 INR (Post exchange 11339)
I have the option to order Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (6/64) at approx. 12610 INR (Same phone not available for exchange here)
Two main questions and opinions I need from you please:
1) How much better is the Redmi note 9 pro max camera compared to Poco M2 pro? Is it worth spending extra for Redmi Note 9 pro max over Poco M2 pro?
2) Although, noone is mentioned it specifically, looking at some of the videos in youtube of Redmi Note 9 pro max post MiUI 12 update, it seems it retains the Mi dialer and messaging app. Is it correct or it also loses these and gets the google dialer and messaging apps? I guess Poco gets updated to google dialer and messaging apps. Please clarify on this. It is important for me to be able to use Mi dialer and messaging apps.
I am not much concerned about ads as I will anyway debloat both using MIUI debloater and disable all ads.
Please help decide which one I should go for.
Any other difference or something which I should consider?
Here is a post about the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, which supports dual-frequency GNSS.
Does the Mi 10T Lite support dual-frequency GNSS?
according to their website and to gsmarena yes it does support it, you just need someone to confirm via some screenshots from gpstest

I have a Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, and my twin brother has the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro.
He suggested me to turn on "Allow media sound in multiple apps".
It's a great feature but it's in Sound Assistant and I can't see Sound Assistant in Sound & Vibration.
Although it has MIUI Global 12.0.8, it runs on Android 10.
But my twin brother's phone, the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro has that feature and runs on Android 11 so is Sound Assistant only on Android 11?
Yes.
