Hi,
Heating phone on LineageOS 17.1 on ligher gaming
cant play subway surf due to phone getting heat too much.temperature Go near higher.Sometimes subway surf cant open smooth and opening response of close or wait message pop.can you fix heating issue and make app open fast.
I know its not gaming phone but lighter game need play without heating phone like subway surf or temple run etc.

BUG:= Dual sim isn't working

Can you build Oreo ROM of LineageOS for Armani ? 1GB RAM OREO will be run Smooth on armani.Before I used Hemants Oreo Build .it work smooth on armani but it have bug of camera .SO rom isnt become daily usages.oreo rom was running smooth .thats why asking build bugless rom of oreo for armani.

Not flashing rom and gapps continuously infact I used correct twrp version 3.3.1-0 also tried more older versions and also the latest once but error 7 and 1 Error code 20 type error coming I fixed this in Linageos 16 (still gapps not flashing in lineage os 16 as well as in 17.1)unable to fix it.(problems in Lineage os 16.0:-I said that gapps not flashing even pico is not flashing i tried bitgapps but same problems so (when ever I download something from the browser and the download complete then I clicked on the notification so the screen blackouts and after some time the phone restarts (When installing some apps before downloading and the apps is installing and complete installing so I clicked on done same huh.(screen blackouts)(2roblem):-wallpaper not changing.(So please sir can you fix it)

Bug: When you pick up your phone at an angle with the top of the phone facing the floor and turn the screen on, the wallpaper is misaligned and has to auto resize itself each time.

Nice to see further new development on this aged device. I still keep it for over 5 years as it's my 1st android phone guide me in custom recovery and flash custom ROM.
First I use the old TWRP 3.1.1, cannot flash the given Lineage 16 & 17.1 with ERROR 7 message. Then I upgrade to TWRP 3.4.0, retry by follow the instructions provided (especially to increase the System Partition size to 2GB), reboot the recovery (2 times), after that I can flash the ROM + Plus GApp successfully.
I have not yet test for everything but it looks fine. The overall reaction and speed is fairly slow and little lagging as expected. You know, the device only with 1GB ram.

it is very slow... maybe we should install Pico GApps rather than Nano...

I want to use Redmi 1s as a webcam but on original Android 4.4.4 Droidcam doesn't work.
I installed LineageOS 17.1 to have a newer android (which the Droidcam runs on), added Pico Gapps (Nano does not fit - its to big).
The camera works normally, but unfortunately the Droidcam application cannot use it (it has permissions), the message "Error starting camera" appears.
Iriun Webcam has exactly the same problem, but IP Webcam (not useful for me, unfortunately) - works fine.
I will try even with the older / newer system (LineageOS 16 and 18).

Thanks for August 2021 release. Firefox latest version still causes reboot (version 68 is however working). A fix for this will be very helpful (updated to lineage 18 but then came back to this as Charging with poweroff causes phone to freeze in lineage 18).

Thanks for your feedback, I actually forgot to deal with offline charging issues after switching to selinux enforcing on 18.1, will fix it soon.

Alright, Thank you so much.

Bugs Note:
-System very unstable apps keeps crashing.
-The system keeps restarting every time you open apps for 3 mins.
-Overheating / battery issues.
-When using the rom for more than hour with apps the devices restarts into recovery mode and stuck in the recovery mode even when you try to boot into system it boots into the recovery which bricks the phone.

Can you grab logs after rebooting?
I don't use that app so i can't reproduce your problem.
I need "last_kmsg" after the crash reboots.

Dear Dev, though it looks fancy that red beast has 12 android. But it's hardware isn't that good also battery life issue. So I suggest can you please look on performance part and provide Android 5 aur 6 with regular security patch updates?

hi sir, this is just the first build,
so it's only natural that there are a lot of problems in this OS.
Just wait until the last building or stable building.
if you want a stable build, try Lineageos16/17.1/18.1 stable build.

I'm using lineage-19.0-20220211-UNOFFICIAL-armani... The problems I'm facing are:
1. RIL is not working for me. It doesn't matter if I put the sim in the first slot or the second slot.
2. Camera is still not working.
3. Adding network by scanning through QR code is not working. It is just simply crashing.
4. MTP is not working.
5. Play store is not working after signing in even I tried to update the play store app but the package conflicts (I downloaded the updated app from apkmirror "Google Play Store 29.3.15-21 [0] [PR] 429396027").
EDIT: SOMEHOW I FIXED THIS ISSUE BY CHANGING PHONESKY VIA ROOT STORAGE.
6. In power settings if I disable the "Emergency" it still appears in the power menu and "Screenshot" is not appearing in the power menu.
7. No Advance Restart option available.

Updated to LineageOS 19.1.
Upstream updates and fixes.
Fixed USB MTP/PTP.
Clean flash recommended.

Camera works most of the time, try to reboot to get it working.
I don't have suitable sim card for this phone to test RIL, but baseband and IMEI reads fine,
maybe you should get logs instead of enlarging your comment texts?

I Wipe everything except Internal Storage for reinstall the rom. When I reboot to recovery, it's stuck on twrp logo home screen and no working next, it's freeze. Can you help this matter

For now, Camera HAL loaded correctly but you can't see preview in camera apps, especially stock Camera app, Install Open Camera will let you "Capture" the photos with "23MP" resolutions magically. But I have no idea how to fix viewfinder/camera preview at the moment, at least some progress has been made huh?
Bring back more LiveDisplay features, without breaking CPU deepsleep.

It seems like it's a LineageOs API issue described here and someone posted a solution in the same post.

Nope, aside from battery drain which is quite expected considering I didn't change it for 5 years, everything else seems quite normal.

Issue I had with most recent build of Lineage 18 was that voice messages were not being sent on WhatsApp. They were empty no matter what. I had Audio permission On for whatsapp as well. But still. Hopefully will be fixed in Lineage 19

After the lineage-20.0 installation is complete, it will automatically restart after three minutes of booting, and it will restart all the time. Currently working fine with lineage-19.1.

Hello, my device is A5_UL single sim,stock version android 5.0.2, my current TWRP version is 3.0.2.0, can I install this rom with this version? I tried to install twrp-3.6.1_9-0-a5.img, it won't load.

i have a5_dug , i was on the latest bigsupersquid ROM 7.1.2 Then i did a clean flash to try lineageOS 20
Unfortunately :
wifi doesn't work for me it connects but there is no internet .
Also, Bluetooth does not pair and is not visible to other devices
Connecting the phone to laptop no data transfer , just charging .
