Hello internet, i am using an HTC Desire 12+ with LineageOS 17 GSI. I am currently stuck in twrp. I am very unlucky here having a not very popular phone, and i cannot find any factory rom's for it, and even worse i didnt do a backup of it. Edit:I found a working one, but now wifi wont work. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1J7AgnHzCLD-e8FSJxB4nBt77fOpxrBWo

flashed the new Cyanogen mods 6.0 rom today along with GApps rom
deleted the files that i didnt want on my phone such as car home and amazon/twitter etc, reflashed it yet i still have them there everytime i wipe/flash a new rom!
my brother even reflashed a new recovery image through revoked and yet its still the exact same even though it worked on his phone!
any idea how i would get rid of these apps?
Hello
I usually dont write in forums for help but I just dont know what to do anymore, so I try my best to explain.
I rooted my HTC ONE M8 DUALSIM and it worked as far as I guess: I can use superSu etc.
( I used this as help...)
After that I installed TWRP from here.
so far so good... At this point everything works well I guess. I made a backup and copied ViperOneM8 4.3.0 (source) on my SD. I full wiped and installed.
Installation worked well (could go into venom menu and setup the stuff I wanted) at the end he says everything fine (no error) and reboot.
Now here is the problem: From now on I get stuck in the flashboot menu. I cant boot the OS normally. Everytime I try to reebot (tried it manually and form computer) he goes back to flashboot menu. I can still go in Recovery menu and restore my backup.
I tried: wipe again after rom installation, factory reset, install other ROMS (ViperOneM8 3.2.0, Insert Coin and even Cyanogenmod nightly) but none of them worked too.
I installed an older version of TWRP and tried it with Rom Clock Work Manager.
So I really dont know any further. Is it because I have the HTC ONE M8 DUALSIM?
I hope you can understand my problem, sorry for bad english.
If it helps:
model: HTC ONE_M8 dual sim
Android: 4.4.4
HTC: 6.0
thanks already <3
// EDIT: ok quite stupid but after searching for another hour or something I guess its because M8 Roms doesnt work for M8 dual sim.
if true: new question would be has anybody good experience with a htc one m8 dual sim rom?
So I have a T-Mobile LG G4 that like every other G4 had the bootloop problem when I got it. I sent it to LG and they promptly fixed the issue. My current issue has nothing to do with the bootloop I believe.
Because the G4 wasn't getting the Android N update fast enough and also because I wanted to play around with Android's full potential, I decided to root the phone a little over two weeks ago. The process worked and I decided to install a custom ROM. That also worked. I have installed four or five custom ROMs built on Android 7.1 without issue, or at least without any major issue.
However last night I decided to flash Genysis ROM on Android 6.0 because I wanted to play with Xposed. I made a full Nandroid backup of the CRdroid ROM it had been running and then wiped and flashed it using TWRP. When I installed the ROM it didn't work for whatever reason, freezing up and frequently becoming unresponsive. Over about 30 minutes I managed to enable USB debugging and reboot it to recovery (why I didn't shut factory wipe it from bios I'm not sure).
Now any ROM I try to install doesn't boot up. It never gets past the OS loading screen with the ROM logo. On 6.0 ROMs it says it has optimized the apps but gets stuck on starting them. The Nandroid backup I made does the same thing, even ones I made early that day and one from several days ago.
The backups had that one app installed that shows the logcat while booting up and while I'm no expert it seems to get a loop loading the audio drivers. I don't know if that's the cause or if it's just coincidental, as I've never heard of audio drivers preventing a boot, albeit my experience is with Windows PCs.
If it would help I can attempt to take a picture of the screen while stuck, although the text moves very fast. I can access the TWRP recovery just fine but don't know how to/if you can dump logs.
Any help would be much appreciated! I can attempt to supply an information that may be needed as well.

why not start from 0 and flash latest KDZ with LGUP.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/h811-kdz-file-t3607807
For sure I'll try that. I'll let you know if it works, thanks!
Follow up- I eventually found the free time to work on this and flashing the kdz worked! I actually had to use LG Bridge as LGUP only found my device as unknown.
Thanks for the help! Back to flashing ROMs for me.
I tried flashing a superuser that works without side-effects, I have tried multiple. Magisk screws up the Wi-Fi, SuperSU just refuses to work, and AddonSU seems to slow down the device until it becomes unusable. I have found threads elsewhere which address the issue about Magisk messing up the Wi-Fi in one way or another, nothing on SuperSU, nor on AddonSU. I’d be really happy if I could get Magisk working properly, but I at least want one of these packages to work. I have tried all three both on LineageOS and Resurrection Remix, same results each time. Can I fix these problems?
Hey UTNT. Same boat. I've not tried as many things as you. I really don't get how this seems to have gone un-noticed. Not like WIFI is some sort of obscure use scenario lol. I'm going to try older versions of magisk.
Lineage 16 or 17?

Hi. Lineage 16. Not sure about 17 because I've not been able to get this installed following all instructions I just get a stuck Lineage boot logo (nothing to do with MAGISK as not installed at that point.) Last night I ODIN > stock 8.0 build 5 and MAGISK does the same thing... WIFI not enableable.
Thanks!

Never had problems.
Just keep force rebooting los 17 until it boots.
Hello XDA people. I'm an enthusiast of flashing and testing android ROMs, but I am kinda rookie using this device.
The problem in question is that I cannot successfully flash any Android 10 and later ROMs on my device, I always face several problems after flashing and booting any ROM, such as the wifi's not working (got the exclamation mark on the icon), audio problems, mobile data increiblely slow, bluetooth and GPS issues, etc etc. I tried to flash official and supported ROMs like lineageos, evolutionx, pyxisos, havoc as well as unofficial roms, but I always get the same problems (the wifi issue is the problem that I want to fix the most)
I tried flashing the original MIUI firmware through recovery and bootloader method, I dirty/clean flashed the roms after and nothing, I also used factory reset, used OrangeFox, TWRP (official and unofficial versions) and I still have the same result. I tried every method I know and it seems I won't have the problem fixed. I don't know if it's that the firmware is not properly flashed, or if I deleted a partition. What can I do?
The device only works using the MIUI original firmare but I don't like it because of the bloatware and the waste of resources. I currently use MMX rom (a modified MIUI rom) in my device right now. It works well but It's currently outdated. I just want to use an AOSP based ROM and having my device updated. Please HELP ME!
