I've managed to root my J610F using this guide:
But I am now facing the problem with lock screen, where we can't use any security except swipe, otherwise the lock screen crashes.
I've tried to apply the lockscreen fix for the J8 (https://www.mediafire.com/file/v6m1wrfaf14p83n/tryfix_j8_lockscreen.zip/file), but it didn't work (no surprise, this is a J6+ ...)
Anyone have any ideas how to get around the lock screen issue ?? Been searching for hours and still can't find any solutions

I've recently installed MIUI AU to try it out (the same problem seemed to be with Redux) and the first boot works just fine, I would love to stick with that ROM... but:
After one reboot the home key and the lock screen don't work - the power key just turns off the screen, no lock screen there (I've also tried lock screen widgets but the result is the same)... and the home key just doesn't respond at all.
I can get rid of the problem with reflashing the rom... the weird thing is though that my nand backup of the CM7 RC2 works just fine.

I've been able to solve the problem...
Thanks to MIUIs inbuilt Filemanager I didn't have to flash Titanium Backup as a zip (which i normally did because my google password is loooong ^^) to have access to my backups...
Now I flashed without TB and it works just fine, thanks anyways

after flashing the update 1 from the developer download link
and i found this bug
after my device booted is ask me to inter my pin code in the lock screen and it show my my home screen only for one second and then he force me to return to lock screen again and again
the only thing that saved me that i had a backup just flashed it back
any one faced this problem and have a solution ?

I have the same problem, I've activated the lock screen to play with the VPN options and now I can't unlock the phone. When I enter the correct pin it shows the home screen for one second, without any background and no response for touch or any other button and then it goes back to lock screen.
Now I'm trying to find a way to reset the lock screen without doing a factory reset. If anyone has any hints you're welcome to join.
it happens only after flashed something , then while rebooting system the screen glitch appers
but it rides off and get into UI, in UI i havent faced any such glitches
any faced the same thing ?

Today, I was listening to some music and noticed the music lagged and gave that sound when a CD is stuck.
Minutes later, I was checking my Facebook and noticed my phone was acting very slow and froze up.
Then a bright white notification light turned on and my phone rebooted itself (the white light remains on).
Once it reboots, it remains stuck on the Galaxy S6 Edge+ screen and it won't do anything. I tried the volume down and power button method but the same thing - it just reboots and remains stuck on the logo screen with the white notification light on (see below for screenshots).
I also tried to go in Download Mode and tried flashing a stock firmware, with the hopes of enabling me to go in the factory menu and do a hard reset, but that doesn't work neither due to non custom bootloader and FRP lock - which as per my knowledge - I can only unlock whilst the phone is booted successfully.
I Googled the problem but no answer for the specific issue I encountered.
I'm clueless and have no idea what to do.
Can someone help me with this?

I can't - FRP Lock makes it impossible for me to either Root or flash a different Recovery.

I need help here. After unlock, root and fix fingerprint sensor like rmg7/7 pro i still cant bring it back. I cant pass "screen lock" step. Everytime i input pattern, swipe or passcode it always say "Screen lock already changed. Try again with new screen lock". Found this solution on internet but needs working twrp so still stuck
Remove /Bypass Lockscreen With Recovery
Recently when i restored my data using TWRP i faced a problem at lock screen. I was not able to unlock my phone with the pin i set Earlier..So after so many attempts i was able to find a solution for that problem.(works with pattern,pin etc)...
