Hello Samsung Galaxy A70 users!
I come to you with a request for help. Well, a few days ago I got my hands on a Samsung Galaxy A70, which for some time did not want to start the system when trying to boot, but only turned on and off over and over again every 20 seconds. He also often stopped at the Samsung Galaxy A70 logo and did not attempt to boot the system at all. So I figured I'd reinstall the latest software by Odin. The previously described problems still occur after correctly uploading a clean system.
Anyone know what I should do to solve the problem of the phone rebooting itself and its reluctance to boot the system? From myself I will only add that the OEM is blocked, because I have no chance to get into the operating system and to be able to disable this lock.
You can add more information, like the software version you have flashed, which spftware the phone worked previously on, a picture from your bootloader (so we can figure out what may have happened to the phone that made it useless).
Stock recovery logs are useful too, but you gotta read it on your own.

Hi, thanks for reading and helping, I would really appreciate that if you helped me.
I've got a Samsung galaxy tab 3 model SM210.
I have to tell you that I have set a memory encryption on that device in addition to the lock screen password.
The encryption uses the same password as the lock screen uses, just when I reboot the device. Without decrypting the device, you won't be able to fully load the OS.
I'm telling you this because I have a feeling that this is the source for the problem I have.
The OS felt really slow and I wanted to upgrade. I had 4.1.2.
I have downloaded version 4.2 jelly bean and installed TWRP recovery using Odin.
Then I have installed the root kit and the jellybean.
After rebooting, I noticed that that all data and apps were still there and I have had a problem turning on the wifi from 'settings', it crashed every time.
I loaded back the TWRP and formatted the device.
The installed again the jellybean.
Since then, the device is asking me to enter decryption code (the same one from before).
I wonder why this message still appear after formatting the whole device?
Anyway, I enter the code and then the android logo appears and stuck there.
I have tried multiple times to reinstall an format etc.
every time I get to this place.
How do I fix this?
EDIT:
more bad news.
TWRP has stopped working, even after relfashing it with Odin.
I have installed CWM and succeeded installing StockRom V2.0 (not the samsung stock rom, its name is "stockrom v2.0) and after that the OS loaded up and I have got the screen which asks me to enter the code for decryption.
The code was "l1212", it does not work anymore. How can I bypass this screen?
I also installed right now the first rom I have told about above, the jelly bean, then the decryption screen comes up and the code above is ACCEPTED and then stuck again on the Android logo...
What a nightmare.
I think the onlyst what help, is flash Org. Stockrom with Odin. Flash a Custom recovery and root you Tab, after that make a backup.
I now since a lot of month ago a other user has done the same.
I'm stuck and confused:
Had a Nexus 4 and 5 for years. Decided to upgrade this past November to the LG G4 (T-Mobile H811)
Got it to root without touching the boot loader.
In came MM and then I had issues of repeating the process.
I came across a solution, to unlock my bootloader. So I did it and managed to get my G4 rooted while running stock LG MM (H81120i).
Everything was running well for several months, but then I started to see erratic behavior. It would heat-up in my pocket for no reason. It would not save pictures. Connections via WiFi and LTE were breaking up. All in all, I wasn't happy and I missed the stock Google interface.
So I've decided to install CM13. Had many issues of getting it to work for several days, which included persistent closings of Google Play services (and many others) and not being able to make/receive calls (it would automatically reboot) After several different attempts, I managed to get it all working. Cleared/Wiped everything off my internal drive, installed the "LG-H81120i-Flashable.COMPLETE" and "cm-13.0-201605xx-NIGHTLY-h811" and "open_gapps-arm64-6.0-nano-201605xx", all back to back. And then installed manual everything as needed Gmail, Maps, etc.
Everything worked great for about 2-days, until then next morning my screen locked up. Then the phone rebooted. After the reboot, it lasted for about 10-15 seconds in CM13 and rebooted again manually. Continued to reboot over and over, till it then stopped booting with CM13. I thought that maybe I needed to install the latest CM13 zip file, but found I couldn't get into recovery. The first reboot screen, showing "Bootloader State: Bootloader unlocked? and the LG logo would be in a loop. During that time, I could feel the phone getting hotter and hotter.
Sometimes, the phone would boot up into CM fully and last for 5 to 10 minutes. Then reboot again and stay in the first reboot screen.
I managed to get into TWRP recovery and thought that putting back the stock MRA58K image would help. During the install in recovery, the phone rebooted! I never thought it could do that. Eventually I got the stock LG back-up up and running, but it didn’t help, and same rebooting occurred.
I'm stuck and out of options. I would like to get the phone BACK TO STOCK and then perform an RMA. I’m afraid that with the BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED that my RMA will be denied and I’m stuck with what I have.
So can the H811's bootloader be re-locked?

Since you live in the US your only option is to apply over voltage to the battery terminal and burn the mobo so that it wont even boot up. The exact method is somewhere around here in xda so you should look it up since you have no other choice
Edit: To answer your question: No

If I can't re-lock the bootloader, has anyone had the success of returning their phones under warranty? Through T-Mobile?
I had or have (yet to be decided) a sprint galaxy s6. It was rooted with a twrp recovery. The last action I took before I had a problem was re-download the stock antivirus Lookout. After it installed i ran it and lookout instructed me to switch off my unlock oem and unknown sources and I think the develop settings all together. After doing that I restarted my phone. Here is where my problem separates from the others and becomes quite a bit different... The Phone will boot up to the Samsung powered by Android screen then the red letter frp lock comes up and it shuts off and continues on the boot loop. It will not boot up into recovery when it is attempted it acts in the same manner as just turning it on. Normally not a giant issue because the phone DOES boot up into download mode. But the hits keep coming. No computer I have attempted to connect it to will read my phone. I've installed every Samsung driver i can think of but i will re investigate if i had a clue which ones are necessary. Currently it will say USB device not recognized and and the driver reads unknown device. So if anyone knows how to fix it please any suggestion or ideas will b tried.
HELP PLEASE.Is there a way to flash or root AT&T Note 5,stuck in boot loop mode???
Hi to all
I'm member on XDA for a long time, but I really am a newbie considering rooting, flashing and messing with the phones.
Yesterday ,my At&t Samsung galaxy NOTE 5 restarted by itself and started doing that constantly.Maybe because the memory was almost full so the firmware didn't have enough space to run correctly ,I don't really know.
So I decided to do a FACTORY RESET in order to refresh the phone.I backed all up (it did restart few time while I did that but I managed to finish it).
After I did the factory reset and wiped the cache,I rebooted the phone and that is when the boot loop started.
Once or three times came back and started the phone up to the first settings (I managed to put in my google username e.t.c. but after a minute maybe it freezes and restarted by itself again)
I tried again another factory reset but the boot loop continues.I tried many time to turn it off,it restarted up to INSTALLING UPDATE......then tried to turn it off completely (Volume down+Power+Home button) and somehow I managed to turn it off.
I thought that I can come here and find the instructions on how to FLASH it with ODIN,but I couldn't find the stock firmware for AT&t Note 5.
Then I remembered (and read on internet) that the bootloader on AT&T phones is locked !!!!!
I searched some threads here for at least how to root it ,but I can't find anything clearly.
So I'm asking you for help: IS THERE ANY SAFE WAY THAT I CAN DO FLASH OR ROOT MY AT&T SAMSUNG NOTE 5 (EXPLAINED STEP BY STEP) IN ORDER TO MAKE MY PHONE WORK AGAIN????
I have never before messed with the phone. It has the original stock firmware Android 7.0 Nougat.
And the phone is bought in USA,but I live in EUROPE and have unlocked it ,by buying some code online, few years ago.It was working fine until yesterday.
Thank you in advance guys I hope that someone might help me.
Juno 106
Guys I found here some older version (few months older) of Android 7 for my Note 5 and I managed to do a flash. The flashing went OK I went through settings and after few minutes the phone freezes again and restarts. And then again the same,it works fine for a few minutes, freezes and restarts (I can here the camera working inside sometimes too)...........CAN ANYONE HELP ME REPAIR MY PHONE ,PLEASE ???
Hi again
I don't know why no one is replying to me???
Today I managed to make the settings and power up the phone, restored the back up....the phone is working,BUT the PROBLEM is that it constantly freezes and reboots by itself.Sometimes it works for few minutes and reboots, sometimes it works for 30min and then it reboots, sometimes longer...
What might be the problem? Is it some hardware problem processor ,memory or maybe bad battery? It is older model and I have noticed with Accu Battery that most likely the battery haslowered it's capacity. It drains faster, sometimes when it comes to 15% it drains very fast...
Can anyone help me diagnose the problem?
Thank you in advance
Try booting into Download Mode & flash a new stock firmware if all else fails, assuming u tried a factory reset first with no satisfaction. Guides are everywhere. I HTH

Thank you for your reply
I managed to flash the firmware few times, but the phone keeps freezing after some time and restarts.Sometimes it is stuck in the bootloop, sometimes it starts up to some point, freezes and restarts.
Could it be BAD BATTERY or is it something else?
If it is the battery problem,I will replace it,but I'm afraid that it might be someting else wrong.
What is your opinion?
Hi Everyone,
I have a 5T running android 9 - completely stock. The device is SIM free, I have never customised it at all - if anything it's never been connected to a PC even.
A few days ago I was using my phone as normal (on whatsapp) but it completely froze. It now boots up to the "Your device is corrupt and cannot be trusted and may not work properly" - it freezes on start up and won't work at all.
- I can get to the fastboot screen
- I can get to the recovery screen to install from ADB
The fastboot screen says in red - device state - locked.
The device is a clean, un-customised phone. Only a few days prior I checked for any OTA updates but I haven't received android 10 yet.
I haven't flashed phone firmware or anything for years now. (By years, I literally mean years - back in the Nokia 8210 days). My only other experience of flashing firmware was with Samsung phones and 'debranding' them.
As I was not trying to root the device or anything - how do I fix this issue? I've searched the forums but I cannot fine a scenario similar to mine therefore I'm a bit confused as to what to do to resolve it.
I've tried to sideload this - oneplus.com/uk/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=PM1574156155944 via recovery but it says installation failed.
Any help appreciated thanks!
Sounds like you're straight out of luck to recover any data if your device is completely stock, as to unlock your bootloader to access encrypted data would mean a factory reset. You could try try one of the unbrick tools using the guide here. You will lose your data.
I tried the unbrick tool here - forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/oneplus-5t-unbricking-tool-confirmation-t3733012
... and it doesn't work. The phone now boots to a blank screen with a constant white LED.
Could this be a hardware issue?
I'm not too concerned about losing my data - already gave up on trying to keep my data when the problem first occurred!
After the 4th use of the unbrick tool (each time it completes successfully) I was finally able to boot into the phone.
I got as far as setting the region but then it wouldn't find any wifi networks. It then completely froze on this screen and is now back to "your device is corrupt and cannot be trusted" and will continually try to boot and freeze on the oneplus logo. Sometimes it will boot to a blank screen with a white LED.
Has anyone else had this issue? I'm definitely suspecting a hardware issue now...

Problem fixed?
unfortunately not. Any ideas on next steps?
That's an odd issue for sure. My only idea would be installing TWRP and maybe formatting from there and using fix permissions etc. to see if it has any effect.
I've done some googling to try and understand "TWRP" but I'm not sure I fully understand. Are there any forum posts I can refer to?
- phone has been flashed several times
- before this whole saga dev mode was enabled, but only to reduce animation scale - USB debugging was never enabled
- the phone has always been stock / sim free - never rooted
Thanks
Can you get into recovery? If yes then try connecting to a pc whilst in recovery as it should let you open your phones internal storage on PC but im not too sure if stock recovery allows it, (TWRP) does. Then copy whatever files you need. Let us know if you can get into fastboot mode aswell
It sounds similar to an issue I have just experienced with a friends 5T. In my case it's a hardware issue (seems like Wi-Fi has died). Just for kicks try to flash the Android 7 firmware. For some reason it allowed me to boot the phone fine and use it, albeit without any Wi-Fi. I sideloaded OOS 4.7.6 and that seems to be the last version 7. You could also use the older unbrick software. Academic I fear as I think you have a hardware issue.
