as title says, is there a simple way to remove the battery icon from the status bar with root?
I believe this has a way. [MOD][MAGISK][ANDROID 12] Addon Features for Pixel Devices - Pixel 6 Pro Thread I can double-check and screenshot in a bit.
Did you want to not have the battery %, either, or you only want to get rid of the battery icon? I think that mod can do either, I have only the % listed in my current setup.
yes I just want to have the percentage showing without the icon.

Then yep, you can do that with that mod. Ignore the red circled part, just re-using a screenshot I had taken for another purpose earlier.

that's very kind of you - thanks! when you say 11, you mean android 11? I am on 12, original firmware when I got the p6p, just decided not to update to Dec patch with all the reported problems. so the first file you posted was for android 12 (any version?), the second for 11?

ok I tried this and it successfully got rid of the battery icon, but also changed the gesture pill to a thicker line that overlapped the dock icons, and a small arrow to the left of that. i've been wanting to get rid of the gesture pill. is there a version that leaves the bottom of the tray clean?

Yes, I can remove the navbar and battery icon. The problems you mentioned makes me believe I don't have the correct SystemUIGoogle.apk and framework-res.apk. Pull those for me and upload them if you want me to make you one.
system/system_ext/priv-app/SystemUIGoogle/SystemUIGoogle.apk
system/framework/framework-res.apk
Edit: and system/framework/services.jar
hi tulsadiver i installed the latest battgone on the january update and the phone no longer boots. it gets to the G then stalls. I am able to restart and get to bootloader. will reflashing the full firmware (without wipe) fix it?
ok reflash without wipe didn't work. hangs at the same stage. is reflash factory image with wipe my only option now? -quietly sheds a tear-
EDIT: or can i push certain system files that were overwritten by the module via fastboot?

Hi,
There are some sweets for deodexed aoj4:
1. 3minit battery mod.
I think everyone knows what does that mean,so no screenshots needed.
Download from Mega
2. Wide notification panel with 10 quick settings buttons
Looks same as stock, but screen wide. Quantity of quick settings buttons increased to 10. See screenshots from next point, looks same, but with stock colors.
Download from Mega
3. Wide notification panel with 10 quick settings buttons, black color.
I really don't like stock colors, more over Amoled displays don't like white color for energy saving. That was the reason for me to make dark themed notification panel(sound volume panels also dark).

Flashed your deodexed zip to remove it.

Sorry for late reply.I had no internet access for some period.
I don't think that the reason for stopping is launcher.Look for another reason like some tweaks for SystemUI.

The only man who can answer your question is You.
Unfortunatelly I don't have 810 on hands and cann't test it.
Just make full back up with TWRP and flash required zip. You will see the result and then make a post in this thread so I will add 810 to topic.
Thank you.
Since you already figured out how to change the cot on this version of systemui, care to give me a little help on which values to modify on my t715? I spent all night yesterday on trying to get this to work but I apparently did something wrong.
/system/privapp/systemui/systemui.apk/ is correct, right? Other versions of touch wiz seem to use the drawable-xxhdpi folder, but I can only find that in /vendor/.
I'd just use your apk but I can't afford a broken system today because I have finals in a couple days and I shouldn't even be making this post actually.
katakis1,
First of all you should make your system deodexed.
/system/privapp/systemui/systemui.apk/ is correct, right?
That is correct. But you need to decompile this file to make changes like it was made in my modds.
Unfortunatelly I cannot write complete how-to because of lack of time. But you can find these how-to's on xda-forum.Just use search. Find any how-to concerning tweaks or color changes of systemui.apk for any popular Samsung model(I was using how-to from S5,S6 and Note 4).
3rd option gave error: systemui stopped working. No mods installed, only deodexed.

I have just dowloaded 3rd option from MEGA and flashed on my Tab. Everything working well. Youn should check any other tweaks to systemui. Mods should be installed to clean deodexed OJ4 system.

Okay cool perhaps ota update caused it. I recommend downloading pie for your region and flash via Odin. Use CSC (instead of Home CSC) when flashing. This will erase everything so be sure to make Backups before you do.
If you go this route let me know if it fixes the issue.

yes from Good Lock 2018
I had the same problem, just uninstalled good lock but as soon as I go to type something, it reappears & typing is so laggy
Here's a screen shot
Follow the simple instruction and uninstall one hand operation +.
Jesus christ, why can't people follow simple instructions to resolve their issues? ?
One hand is switched off, done a factory reset & no change, also having major problems with the keyboard edge letters & numbers & the send button on messaging. Rather down grade to oreo
By the way, what's one hand operation + ? & you can't uninstall one handed mode, its a system app
Did you solve your problem?
All Android 10 launch devices will no longer have the 2-button gesture navigation that was introduced in Android 9 Pie. If you cared for this and want it back on your Pixel 4, simply flash the Magisk Module attached to this thread and reboot. You should see the 2-button navigation option in Settings > System > Gestures > System navigation.
This Magisk Module simply adds the 2-button navigation overlay from the Pixel 3. No changes are made to any system files or properties.
Thank you so much. Your work makes the Pixel very AWESOME [emoji7]

I have the same problem on an unrooted and bootloader locked OP9. I'm so glad I'm only trying to flash this thing so a friend can use it because I'll never buy another OP device. I guess she's just gonna have to live with F.17.
I believe TMO firmware is most reliable. Just my thoughts. Yes they are a little slow but that is because they do more refining before releasing for a solid firmware.
