Is it available now to root pad 5 global version?
Yep. You need to extract the boot image from your version, patch it in Magisk and then flash that patched image.

P.D: Sorry for my bad english
Hello. Thank you very much for the file. Installed everything works. At first I could not understand why there was no root, but then installed Magisk and everything turned out.
I am on a completely stock OTA upgrade version of 2BA, I have NO root, my boot loader is still locked,<as I have still not got around to flashing the UsU method, There for I currently do NOT have a custom recovery installed; such as TWRP; which is listed as a requirement(?) in the first step of following process (to flash a rooted Rom.)
I am curious as to how I will be able to complete these steps, or am I missing something? Is this, supposed a way to gain root on 2BA if you are on a non root version like me, or is this suppose to be a update of your on a previous version which you already have rooted, or is this just a different way to root AFTER you have had the UsU boot loader unlocked?

the only way to root your phone on 2BA is with UsU.
so after you do UsU you can flash TWRP and from there you can flash magisk for root. you don't have to flash this rom for root
here's a side note. when you do the UsU unlock do not flash the baseband package. it gave me problems with my SIM not being detected

heres a collection of goodies on my Drive for the V35 like LG Radio app, TWRP and Magisk for 8.0 firmware patching. A prepatched image file of oreo or pie i cant remember however I am a bootloader unlocked, LG V35thinQ ATT varient (flashed to google FI and/orUnlocked Firmware) so flash at your own risk. Some of the Root and TWRP file must be patched into the firmware and then flashed via Patched LG UP or im told LGFLASHTOOL patched but i used LG UP. spend $20 and get GhaiPhapAndroid or any other reputable guy with an Octoplus box to unlock your bootloader first then just google LG firmware patching and enjoy!

-----P.S. TWRP & Magisk is for Oreo ONLY!!!!! the Magisk works fine on Pie however No TWRP. TWRP is a pain in the A$* on A/B devices anyway so just use Pie. If you bootloop just Fastboot flash your Boot.img file ONLY. should bring you back. Never flash Boot_a or any Laf.bin files leave them alone and youll keep fastboot, root and whatnot. Away you go! Bring me some yummy ROMS..... Yum... Yum.....
I want dem ROMS common feed me! nyum, nyum....

The google drive link you gave is a restricted access link. Please set the link access to anyone so we can download some of these goodies.
So I have op7t, with stock oos 10.0.16HD65BA, unlocked bootloader, stock kernel and recovery. Where can I find magisk patched boot image for this deivce and do I need twrp installed? And does it matter if the patched boot image is for global and I have Europe?
I haven't touched these things since op3t and things have changed a lot, and I'm really confused, so feel free to link me about anything related to rooting/installing roms/twrp on this device.

So I installed unofficial twrp from oneplus 7t xda forums, and tried to install magisk.apk (renamed to zip) but apparently twrp seems not seeing anything in my internal storage? Is it bcs I have oxygenOs and twrp can't read the data partition? And how should I flash it now? from pc manually with fastboot or..?

adb push .zip /tmp
And you need an update to date version of twrp to flash apk.
Seriously, just use patched image method.

I was going to use that, but as I asked in the first post, do I need europe version 10.0.16 HD65BA version magisk patched image, and if yes, where can I find it? And I have the latest twrp uploaded on there -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ry-for-oneplus-7t-unified-tes.3976961/page-46

Actually ignore what I said. I am not sure if that TWRP is capable of flashing apks, but it doesn't matter. Flash the previous version which was a zip file, then just update within magisk manager.

I am due to receive my OP7T in a couple of days and already started reading. I assume oos 10.0.16HD65BA is the latest A10 for 7T.
My goal is to get latest stable Android 10 build for my 1903 EU variant OP7T - Unlock Bootloader, Root with Magisk and then Install No Limits xXx Magisk ROM.
Will appreciate some feedback how to proceed please.
From the post above - it seems that the steps are - Unlock Bootloader, Boot (not flash) TWRP.img , adb push Magisk zip , flash Magisk zip in the loaded twrp and then boot to system.
My doubts -
I have been using adb and drivers for my OP5 - will that old adb and drivers work with OP7T?
Which TWRP.img is recommended
Which version of Magisk.zip can I flash (would v22 be OK?)
Can Magisk be updated via Magisk manager at a later stage?
I assume the system will revert to stock recovery (as TWRP was only loaded, not flashed) - will this cause loss of root?
Have I missed out any crucial points / steps?
Thanks

How did you eventually do it? Please share your process.
If it is rootable. Is it a stable root. Thanks!!!
Follow https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-unlock-the-t-mobile-bootloader.4256319/ to unlock your bootloader first. Then flash a magisk patched boot.img for root.
Where does one find the boot.img to root? Some of the guides I've seen online suggest you extract it from stock firmware, but I'm wondering which version firmware to use for a T-Mobile device.
You'll probably have to extract it from your device for now, I don't know where a full ota might be for branded devices.
I'm sure somebody will release it when unlock tokens get sent out.
Are there instructions on how to root the 9 Pro? I've rooted a OP 7 Pro, guessing its similar, but wanted to double check here first. Thanks.
there are multiple tutorials on this forum, use the search!

For now you need to patch your boot.img manually using Magisk.
Extract a full OTA and use payload_dumper to extract boot.img from payload.bin
In Magisk select and patch the boot.img, then use fastboot to flash the patched boot.img
What matze19999 said, enough howto's available on XDA.
The TWRP way will be available once there is a TWRP released.
