I created a few working watch faces for the GT2 and Watch 3. The only thing I can't figure out is how to create configurable watch faces. There are multiple working watch faces on the watch preinstalled (Watch 3 Pro) where I can switch between 2 styles. How can I do this on my own?
Actually I fugured out. This description is for Theme Studio version 11.0.10.300
The "Free combination" has to be used when you start building your watch face. Click on Create a new combination and select custom options from the background/time/date/widget dropdowns:
https://prnt.sc/24s8353
https://prnt.sc/24s7ygm
Select their checkboxes and save the combination, repeat for multiple watch variations: https://prnt.sc/24s81tt
You need to add a watch face screenshot to all option groups in background/time/date/widget layers: https://prnt.sc/24s7t5u
When you are creat the AOD, you can't add layers as before, you need to copy them from the normal watch face layers, so first add all AOD layers in all options and copy them. Afterwards delete these layers from the normal view.

I have started this for the purpose of having a stickied thread that points you to the three (currently) working weather apps for Windows Mobile 6.1 (Kavana and Rickwyatt ROMs). The program creators have created a post for their version of their weather application and have provided the info, screenshots and links to the original thread to obtain the application. This will allow you to judge which application suits you best and it will preserve the threads, should they get buried deep within the annals of this forum.
NRG's MiniWeather 1.0
Features of MiniWeather 1.0 :
- Autoupdate according to Yahoo servers' time + 10 minutes + 1-5 random minutes (so we don't all hit the server at the same exact times)
- Update in 15 minutes when no connection is found.
- Verbose status information as the script is running.
- Detailed Forecast panels can be turned off in "Advanced Options"
- Application will not automatically refresh the screen while the phone's keypad is locked.
- Built-in leftover notifications removal tool, in case you want to uninstall. See "advanced options".
Please go HERE to visit the original thread and to download the appplication.
NRG Weather 3.0
This is Chome Weather 3.1 with a 10 day forecast. It's the full version of MiniWeather with several layouts to choose from. It's also a much larger install...
Features:
- New 6 day forecast layout (layout #7)
- Autoupdate using Yahoo's server time. No manual control over update interval anymore.
- Revised layouts to ensure correct wrapping
- HomeScreen update feature. No need to reboot to see forecast or layout changes. This option is turned off by default because it doesn't work for everybody. If you turn it on and you see problems with your phone's radio turning off, phone becoming very slow etc... turn it off. (it's option #10)
- Added new panel to the Settings panel at the bottom for easy access to the weather updates and settings.
- "Stardock icons" are default for forecast and regular panels.
p.s. Portrait support is included for the new 6 day layout.
Please go HERE to download the application and to visit the original thread.
ODSHOWeather WM 6.1
Showaco, I are happy to bring you our weather panel. We have worked on testing this thing for a while.
We have new panels that display without affecting any of your other panels whatsoever.
We have a great feed, it is brought by our corporate sponser, Accuweather.
They have really put up a great feed for us to use, and it is updated constantly.
This is hands down the best weather app out there for the visual candy lovers. With the standard version without system monitor, it uses no battery or memory as far as hogging goes.
With that being said. Check out our link to the app for full feature info and check out the app and be amazed at its seemingly endless options you can set, like voice updates with 4 voices to choose from. Several layouts, and lite on the phone's memory, ahh, it is nice to be free...
Please go HERE to download the application and to visit the original thread.
The smallest weather app available has just gone on a diet, it started at 950kb and now comes in at a lightweight sub 850 kb. Its been slimmed down in size but not in weather data available. The new TotalClock cab has the full five day and current conditions within the clock panel itself. Check out the screenshots below, you only see one day at a time for a nice clean look. Hit the right soft key to advance thru the days and when you done, it has a timer to reset itself to current conditions after 60 seconds of non-flipping of the forecast pages.
For those who would rather have it seperate, the original version still uses a seperate forecast panel along with current conditions only in the clock panel. But even though it hasn't changed, I have managed to squeeze another 100 kb off of it.
On the original version clock panel you get info for current: temperature, icon, real feel temp, winds, humidity, visibility, barometer, uv level, cloud cover, precipitation, sunrise, sunset, air quality levels, and dewpoint. Also, on the clock panel you get tomorrow's forecast: conditions, hi/lo temperatures, real feel high temps, winds, and estimated precipitation.
On condensed clock panel, there is current temp, current condition icon, time, and todays Hi/Lo temperatures. So if you dock your clock, you will always have weather and time showing on homescreen.
And for a full forecast, there is a 5 day forecast panel that can be enabled or disabled. The forecast pages have info for: day, date, conditions, hi/lo temperatures, precipitation estimates, uv levels, and winds expected.
Both have a user set time interval for the updates depending on your needs, wants, or data plans. Just go to setup and specify the interval in minutes. The default is 30 minutes. The forecast data updates every 8th time weather update runs, that way you get updated forecast info every 4 hrs if you use the default for current condition updates.
To install: For now, install to main memory, I'm working on either or version.
Download the cab. After installation, it should prompt you to restart. If it doesn't, then restart your phone to set new clock panel in place. After reboot, wait about 10 seconds and the FeatherOptions will run automatically. Go to Setup and set all of your info, good idea to go ahead and set your right soft key on the clock panel at this time. After setup, exit options by selecting "Run Weather Update and Exit".
That's it, your done.
NOTE: I beleive I worked out my problem with mortscript registering itself, but if it doesn't auto start the options after 10 seconds, then go to FeatherWeather folder in Program Files and click on Mortscript.exe .
To uninstall: Go to Settings, Remove Programs and uninstall the cab. It may not change your clock panel back, but it will remove everything else. To revert clock panel back, install an original cpr or cpr of your choice.(note: the cpr should revert back to original on uninstall by itself if you reboot.)
City Location Codes:
For anyone that needs to find their city code, use this link and change the location in this url to the name of your city and then go to it and it will give a list of all cities worldwide that have that name. Get your location from there and enter it exactly as it appears in the quotes, but do not use the quotes.
http://hadle.accu-weather.com/widget...ation=calcutta
So, for this link above, if you were looking for Calcutta, India. Go to this link, and you will see a line like this:
<location cnt="1" city="Calcutta" state="India(Bangla)" location="ASI|IN|IN036|CALCUTTA" />
So your location to enter in to options would be :
ASI|IN|IN036|CALCUTTA
This should work for cities worldwide.
Feather currently is installed with a slim panel layout only. If you want more dll or cpr options, they are easily installed with FileChanger. Those are more homescreen customizations than they are weather customization, thats why they aren't in here.
For landscape phones: If you don't want the slim panels, I have standard panels cpr and mini panels cpr that work specifically with FeatherWeather. They are in the Featherscprs.zip below. Just install with the FileChanger app or copy into windows folder. Click on the File Changer in my signature below for the File Changer thread and download.
New Portrait versions below, the last 2 cabs that names end with "P" are the portrait versions. Portrait versions updated 8/19/08 with new cpr. If you already installed, you can download the cpr zip only and install to windows directory.
Check out these new portrait layouts provided by Kron2:
Make sure you get the landscape or portrait version you need, first 2 are Landscape, last 2 are Portrait

Is it posible to set an audible & visual reminder with the S Note App?
EG - Call for Milk On Way Home.. & set it to remind me @ 5pm with a pop up screen & an audio sound?
If so how is this done?
What other things can be done with the Note App.
Thanks
go to the full app if you use the popup version(arrow in the top-left corner), finish your note, press menu, and select "create event"
this will be done through your default calendar app.
as for special features: the only thing i can think of is the popup note, which you can launch from anywhere you want as a small hovering window, by tapping the screen twice while holding the S-pen button.
I am not sure if this is new, but in Picture Insertion Choices there is a choice called (Idea Sketch). it is so cool, i tried to write (Bird) & it gave me few birds pictures to insert! i chose one, & it has been inserted in my original note. That's really cool!
Also the -Knowledge Search- button is very useful.
In addition to the common known functions:
Handwriting to Text
Shape Match
Formula Match
I'm looking to make a luminous version of the Tudor Pelagos I just created, can anyone help with variables for displaying images only when the watch is dimmed or even better after a certain time?
Even the example time variable in the help file on Facer doesn't seem to work.
You can just layer duplicate copies of the markers and make them luminated behind the non luminated ones and then uncheck "display when dimmed" on the non luminated marker layers.
So I had over 150 watch faces on my PC and it was difficult to find what I was looking for at any given point. So I did what I always do, made a simple program to help me stay organized.

FEATURES / CHANGE LOG:
v2.1.1
(restored after hard drive crash - should have everything that v2.1 did)
- Changed Imgur authorization ID since old one was no longer valid
- Minor changes to the UI and minor code tweaks
----------
v2.1
- Added support for protected Watchmaker faces - all features should work except removing protection of the images and the watch code xml
- Added support for adding/editing face author for Watchmaker faces
- Improved renaming of watch face author across different Facer formats
- Various other improvements and bug fixes
----------
v2.0
- Added ability to batch export all faces at once - click on the Batch Process menu and select 'Export all faces' - remember you can also select multiple faces by holding down Control and then right-clicking to export only the selected faces
- Added ability to batch create preview images for all faces at once - click on the Batch Process menu and select 'Create preview images'
- Added ability to find all protected Facer watch faces - click on the Filters menu, then 'Find protected Facer watch faces'
- Added ability to remove protection from Facer files so they can be exported as an unprotected .face file and then imported into WatchMaker - just right-click on the face you want to remove protection from and click 'Remove protection', now you can export it
- Added ability to batch remove protection from Facer files - click on the Batch Process menu and select 'Remove Facer protection'
- Added ability to search for duplicate watch faces (based on face name) - click on the Filters menu and select 'Find duplicate watch faces'
- Added ability to sort faces by date added (newest to oldest or oldest to newest) or by face name (A to Z or Z to A) - click on the Sorting menu and select your preferred sorting method
- Added ability to color code the watch faces in the list using the Facer and WatchMaker colors respectively (enabled by default) - to enable/disable, click on the Options menu and then 'Color code watch faces in list'
- Protected Facer watch faces will display a lock icon on the preview image for easy identification (but won't be exported in the preview image)
- Added ability to drag and drop .face, .watch and .zip files to the program - it'll copy them over to the folder where you keep your watch faces (or use the default folder if you don't have a custom one) and it will import the faces for you
- Added ability to just drag and drop one or multiple faces to the FaceViewer exe or shortcut and it'll load your existing files, then automatically import the face(s) you drag/dropped to it. If you're sorting by date added, they will be at the top of your face list
- Added ability to right-click on the Imgur link in the log and open the Imgur link in your default browser
- Added ability to delete a face by pressing the delete key on your keyboard - you're still prompted to confirm, and also works with multiple selected files - remember you can hold down Control while clicking or holding down Shift while pressing the up or down keys to select multiple faces
- Added ability to cancel any on-going process so you don't stay stuck if something goes wrong
- Improved behavior so when searching for face files it won't get stuck with old/poorly zipped faces that have an extra folder where the watch face files should be
- Improved behavior so when you have multiple watch faces selected you can right click without holding down the Control key and won't lose your selection
- Fixed displaying of face names for new WatchMaker files that were displaying names incorrectly
- Fixed bug where faces without images would still allow you to 'Edit images' and would crash
- Rearranged filters to the menu - to filter your list of watch faces, click on the Filters menu then use one of the various choices to narrow your list of watch faces - to reset the filters to default behavior click on 'Reset all filters'
- Various other improvements and adjustments to the GUI and code
----------
v1.1
- Added feature to edit or add author name to a face - right-click and select 'Edit face author'
- Face searching is now recursive by default - this means you can have your watch faces organized in multiple folders, nested however you want. Just feed Face Viewer the parent folder and it'll find them all for you (be sensible - if you put Face Viewer to search your entire C:\ drive you're going to have a bad time)
- Added option to enable/disable recursive search and option to display/hide the face author name if available
- Added several new overlays for other smart watches: LG G Watch R, LG G Watch, Asus ZenWatch and Sony SmartWatch 2 - right-click on the preview image and select the overlay you want
- Added ability to have no overlay and just see the preview image bare - right-click on the preview image and select 'None'
- Added ability to use your own overlay - create a 500x500 PNG file using the provided ones as a template and drag and drop it on the preview image - it will be applied and saved, and now you can select it by right-clicking on the preview image
- Program will remember which preview overlay (or none) you used last in case you always use something other than the stock Moto 360 overlay
- Added ability to specify the background color for the preview images - right-click on the preview image and select 'Change background color'
- Several GUI fixes and improvements
----------
v1.0 - Initial Public Release
WHAT DOES IT DO?
It allows you to put all your watch faces (extracted folders, .zip, .face and .watch files) in one folder, so that reduces clutter. Once you've told the program which folder has your watch faces, it will:
- list them all in alphabetical order
- show you a preview image of the face
- allow you to search for any word or part of a word in the face name or the creator name (some faces store that information)
- allow you to filter the faces by Facer or WatchMaker faces only, or both
- allow you to filter faces by analog, digital, or mixed (contains both elements)
- allow you to manually set whether a face is analog, digital or mixed (in case the auto detection fails or for faces with misused tags)
- allow you to mark as and filter by Favorites
- allow you to delete one or multiple faces from within the program
- allow you to rename a face (this will carry over when exporting)
- allow you export one or multiple faces (it'll choose .face or .watch based on type)
- allow you to "explore" a face - opens that face folder in Windows Explorer so you can manually edit it
- allow you to "Edit images" - adds .png extension to images, and opens the images folder in Windows Explorer
- allow you to save the preview composite image locally or upload it to Imgur for displaying of previews with the nice background I created or your own (replace overlay.png in the /bin folder)
WHAT DOES IT NOT DO?
This was meant to be a quick programming effort on my part to simplify my life, so here are the fun things it won't do:
- It WILL NOT (and I won't add support for it, so please don't bother asking) allow you to create or modify the layout or design of the faces. Use the respective programs to create/modify them
- It WILL NOT (and I won't add support for it, so please don't bother asking) convert from WatchMaker to Facer or from Facer to WatchMaker. The creator of Facer does not want to import WatchMaker files, and is not happy with the fact that the creator of WatchMaker is importing Facer files. I won't get mixed up in that mess.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Modern Windows (tested on 8.1 Pro) and .NET Framework 4.0 or newer. That should be it. If anything else is required, please let me know so I can list it here.

Face Viewer v2.1.1
Face Viewer v2.1
So yeah, this isn't going to change anyone's life, but it's been useful to my wife and I, so I thought I would share it with you guys. Hopefully it works for you.
Version v2.1.1 was only created to help me recover the lost source code. I have no intentions to continue working on this tool and will not be addressing any issues with it.
If v2.1.1 has issues, go back to v2.1 - but it should be fine.
OUTDATED - READ BELOW!!!
Some very helpful users have taken over the source code and will be posting updated versions of the program on this thread. Obviously they can't edit this OP, so please check the last few pages of the thread to make sure you're getting the latest version!
Great! Thx a lot!
I just have the problem that the window stays too small, so that i only see half of the picture preview. No way i can maximize it.
Would be cool if that could be fixed.
Can you share a screenshot of what it looks like? There's no reason for it to look any different than it does on my screenshot. Also share what resolution and version of Windows you're running.
is there anything like this for the mac?

I got absolutely no experience with Mac, so I won't be able to make it. As far as there being something else, I hope not. If something like this existed I wouldn't have wasted my time

I'll take a look. There's no way it should look like that. Sit tight.
Try this updated version. Took me a while to upload because my internet wasn't working right. Let me know if it works as intended now.

@Max_Pain
I wish you shared the whole collection with the application would be so so so obliged!
I probably will. But I'm going through that other 190 + watch face collection that was shared here recently and going to combine what I didn't already have with my own. Then probably share that. We'll see.
Did i miss that collection? Which thread was it? Or direct link? Thx
I downloaded that other 199 collection and ended up having to delete a load of duplicates which just had slightly different names and then when trying to use any the faces never actually worked, just had blank black faces with poorly designed battery, dates etc on them. Not sure that I could've done anything wrong so must've been something wrong in the zip or something. Would be interested if you share as I've now deleted all those.
I haven't actually tried them yet, so had no idea. I did notice some of the files were empty inside. A few had another folder inside which then contained the files, so you'd have to move them out before you can import it on Facer.
Eventually I'll share my collection. Stay tuned to this thread.
Really amazing tool ! greatly thanks for your effort and sharing.
of cause the tools just right fit for use, just my opinion if able to make batch export that will be much faster when managing large number of faces, the tool will become too perfect.
Now I cannot work without this tools, much thanks!
You can already batch export. Hold down Control while selecting the faces you want to export. You can then delete or export the multiple selected files.

Hi, thank you for your work its exactly what I was looking for.. Just wondering is it possible to enable the application to search through nested folders? I've organized my collection of faces like this - "D:\Android Wear\Faces\Folder 1, D:\Android Wear\Faces\Folder 2, D:\Android Wear\Faces\Folder 3" The application currently only reads one specific folder.
Thank you again.
Hi XDA forum. I'd like to have a preset display with custom basic geometric shapes that appear in the photos. I can certainly add shapes afterwards in a different program, but ideally I can import a filter of sorts that has the geometric shapes I want and call upon this filter whenever I want. Anybody know of such a feature or a way to implement easily ? The best example I can find from golf in the youtube video below:
Thanks.
