Hi,
I've already debloated Mi Video app but I didn't find any good replacement, so I've reinstalled it and it ends up that in last version you cannot avoid to accept online services, otherwise it will ask forever to accept xiaomi terms of service.
Is there a way to permanently disagree with them since I don't need online services?

Ok, strange problem here...
My Note 2 no longer shows up in the web version of the Play store. All other devices - even ones I no longer own, are still there.
The Play store on my device works fine and I'm able to install and update apps without a problem.
This seems to coincide with the new layout of the web Play Store.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my device back on the device list?
Got a reply from google... not impressed.
"I appreciate you patiently waiting. I've heard back from our specialist team and according to their records, it appears you may be using a rooted device. Unfortunately, our ability to troubleshoot issues with rooted devices is limited. They may have altered functionality depending on how the device has been modified and we're not able to see what's happening with the device. For assistance with rooted devices, we recommend contacting your device manufacturer or carrier. However, if you unroot your device and still encounter this issue, please let me know and I will be happy to take a look.
If your device isn't rooted, please let me know, and I'm happy to see what I can do to assist you further. Thank you for your understanding. "
Clear Play Store data and then log on again. Happened to me last time and this fixed it. Else, remove and re add Google account on device.

It seemed to have magically corrected itself without me doing anything. I don't know what caused it, but if I find out, maybe I can remove some dead devices that I no longer own and are still listed under "My Devices":good:
Not possible, unfortunately.
I am really tempted to get this phone since the new pricing and the new unlocked version
but I am getting confuse can I root it without breaking it what is the best way to achieve it? (downgrade)
Do I get all the Google app working if I install Google Service Framework, Google Login Service, Google Play Service, Google Play Store
and how long is the battery life on one charge?

I would advise against it for now... their is a good chance you'll get a phone that can't be downgraded / rooted. I messed mine up and now it's not able to be activated on Amazon.

Essentially, I use Sinemia and they have a device limit for how many times you can switch devices. Their limit is 3, but with how often I switch ROMs/have to do a clean flash, etc. it's just not feasible.
Is the best way to use Titanium backup? Though I assume the app will check if I'm on a new device. Wasn't sure the best way to go about this.
I'm not totally sure I understand your question, but it sounds like you are trying to bypass the 3 device limit of a paid subscription.
Use TiBu and "restore old device I.D." when restoring apps/ user data, this way your app will see the original device I.D. and won't think it's an additional device like it would with a new device I.D.
Doing anything else to bypass the app's 3 device limit would likely be crossing the line of getting premium/paid services for free, which is NOT allowed to be discussed, encouraged, or shared on Xda.
If I am misunderstanding the question, please accept my apology, and try re-explaining it.
Thanks.

This is perfect, thank you! Also, Sinemia is like movie pass where you pay them a monthly fee($9.99~) to watch 3 movies per month. I'm unsure why they have a device limit except that if you let a friend login and use one of your "free" movies if you only went twice that month.
Anyway, that was a longer explanation to say, no, I'm not attempting to get paid services for free lol

Glad to hear that the TiBu option might work out for you..
Basically I bought a V20 a little while ago which turned out to be a Chinese variant and I stupidly delayed on getting an unlock code.
It now seems that I have literally no way in which to switch/change the ROM to the global variant or even a custom one. Basically I am stuck with a phone that wont even allow me to use google assistant and is in a lot of ways pretty useless.
Suffice to say I am pretty pissed off but also just disappointed. Its a great phone. Amazing battery life, one of the best cameras I have even used on a phone, lightning fast etc. But it cant do half the things I want it to.
Does anyone have any advice or ways in which I might be able switch the ROM or unlock the bootloader. I am getting kind of desperate and am almost at the point of giving away the phone and buying a Xiaomi/another brand of Android.
I also have an honor view 20 Chinese version and it does everything that a American phone can do including use Google Assistant, is there something that you would like me to tell you how to make work on your phone?

It's not your fault - from what I understand, Huawei stopped issuing bootloader codes months before the V20 was even released, so there wasn't anything you could have done.
As for unlocking, in the past I've used DC Unlocker before but the caveat is that it charges you money for every bootloader code. Also, I've never been able to successfully flash a different region's ROM without soft-bricking, so YMMV.

Thanks for the reply, basically at the moment when i open google assistant, every time it tells me to go and set google as the default assistant app. I do that and set it. It then, kinda works (ie it goes back to assistant and it will listen to me while the app is open). As soon as I close assistant or restart my phone and I open the google assistant app again it tells me to do the same thing ( it loses the default setting and I am back at square one, it will never stick.)
Also if i go into the google settings and go to "Voice" and then "Voice match" it is simply grayed out. Which means I cannot train it to recognize my voice/ or say ok google to open the voice assistant.
Also when I hold down the middle navigation button it comes up with HiVoice app that is pre installed on the device.
This link seems to be what I have been having issues with. I need to remove hivoice and actually get hey google to work

Thanks for the reply. This seems a little crazy, seems like one of the only phones that wont let you unlock the bootloader and install a different ROM. :S
Wassup Guys,
I am currently running a custom rom on my rooted S20+ .
Everytime, when I try to buy an app in the Galaxy Store and it asks for my payment method (besides of credit card & store credits),
choosing PayPal and pressing the buy button leads to an error, telling me, that my action was an "unauthorized access".
This means, I can neither setup (log-in) into my PayPal account and buy apps in the galaxy store.
I tried to hide my root with MagiskHide for the Galaxy Store itself and Samsung Pass, but with no result.
Anyone an idea, how I can solve this issue?
I wanted to buy a few apps for my new galaxy watch, sadlythere is no other source or app store in order to install
Unfortunately the decision to root knowing that it is likely to break things related to samsung knox like samsung pay or even google pay etc. is something that should be considered prior to taking the plunge to unlock. Sometimes people find workarounds for certain things but its usually short lived as stuff ends up getting patched pretty quickly then the circle continues.
Well, I ended up writing the app developer an e-mail in order to get coupon codes for the installation.
