Mine keeps on sayin that the rom is for aloith... And I can't find any xiaomieu for ALOITHIN...
I have seen in YouTube that people just change variables inside bat or sh file, from alioth to aliothin. Not sure if it helps

HI,
I bought my Mi Max 32GB in Indonesia and it came preinstalled with unofficial distributor ROM. It can't do OTA updates, so I flashed to latest MIUI Global Developer using MiFlash Beta through adb edl mode. My bootloader is still locked. The flashing process went successfully and I'm using the device without any problem.
Then I realized that my phone does not have LTE/4G option, I already try everyting on the internet but no result, including:
Set locale to Singapore / Malaysia
Dialing *#*#4636#*#*
Factory reset
Reflash
Flash your max with china stable/dev ROM, wish some lucky there...
yes..
i confirm that LTE will be enabled in both dev and stable china rom
or,,
try the custom rom: RR or CM13
regards
Maybe u can use this trick which need u to add a little modification to your device buildpromt. I already try it before and it works on my mi max.
Actually there is a link that can guide you how to do it but i'm sorry that i can't tell you rightnow coz i forgot about it. I'll do some search for a while and will inform you later when i find it again..
Ps: sorry about the grammar coz am not that fluent enough on english and am a newb in this forum
*update:
Am sorry about the late update and about the guide, am sorry again that i can't give you the link bcoz of the forum rules.
Based from the web, what i can tell you is this :
Firstly,, DWYOR!! am not responsible for bricking your device!!
must have root on device
have root xplorer or buildprop editor or any other like it installed
now use root xplorer navigate it to /root/system then find build.prop
open build.prop with HTML editor or text editor
find text ro.product.device=hydrogen then add # in front of it like this #ro.product.device=hydrogen
save it and reboot
now go to the network setting u can see LTE prefered is there
notes:
this trick can only be applied to MIUI 8 global dev rom (idk if this can also be applied to miui 8 chinese dev vers rom and there is a different edited thing for miui 7)
hydrogen is another name for 3/32 MiMax so for another xiaomi phones it will be different ex. mi4c=libra, RN3 Mediatek=hennessy etc
this trick can be applied to any xiaomi devices(sez the web not me) that already support LTE
lastly,, DON'T FORGET TO ALWAYS BACK UP b4 you do all of this!! in case something goes wrong.
i already tried this and it works on my MiMax running on 6.8.11 global dev rom and now on 6.8.25 global dev rom it also work.
Hi all,
I'd like to install Lineage OS on a Wiko Sunny Marshmallow 6.0, kernel 3.18.19.
Lurking around I found the GM CAdiom page, but nothing there that linked to downloads.
I also found in other sites the lineage-14.1-20180307-UNOFFICIAL-z5 and the lineage-14.1-OMS-20180308-UNOFFICIAL-z5 version, but I'm wandering if they are really compatible, as I see that specific ports do exist for a large variety of other phones.
Moreover I have yet not clear the install procedure, as it's said to install on the SD card ad then flash it. Those packages
are zipped, so instead of flashing I'm expected to "install zip"...
I have also seen the Robanoid post, where there are no replies...
Please, can anyone explain it to me?
TIA

I don't think there is any chance for SUNY wiko. Buy a different device.
By accident I found something interesting. I attach a link to the Chinese forum:
http://www.miui.com/thread-4616383-1-1.html
Look at the first image, you can see the files fastboot_edl.exe and edl.cmd on it. This can be interesting for many people, eg returning to Oreo.
Do you know anything about this?
I just found it at Androidfilehost.

Info says it's for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro(kenzo).
Hi, i`m doing a little bit of open source thing here. I'm going to crate Magisk module that fixes WifiCalling on phones with Snapdragon 730G. I`m using https://github.com/swangjang/Pixel-Redbull-Carrier-Patch as reference. Looking for *.mbn files for operators from different coutnries. If someone would be that kind to export *mbn files from his device i would be really greatful. What i`m looking forward are files at
/system/vendor/rfs/msm/mpss/readonly/vendor/mbn/mcfg_sw/
Most likely root access is required for that. Would really appreaciate your help !
I'm opening this thread for all things gcam on the snapdragon variant of the phone. Please do not post about exynos as its the inferior version and the two versions need to have their own threads as a lot of people that visit this forum obviously are not tech savvy enough to even load xml files or read through the first couple of pages of a thread to find the answer to their question.
Currently,
GCam8.2.204_Greatness.220428 is the only working option with the addition of a custom .xml file I've attached (provided by @yener90 ).
As he said, maybe someone more experienced in developer options can further modify the xml file to better optimize it for the sd variant.
This is the original thread where I found the fix
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gcam-on-galaxy-s21fe.4396589/page-4
That's all for now.
Thread closed. The topic already exists here.
