Hi everyone. I've had this phone for over a year now, the Google services work fine on wifi but doesn't on mobile data. Which post do i need to follow related to my version? Update firmware or change fingerprint? Thanks

Running on Pie you don't need to use a screen lock. You are the most likely person to get locked out... I use double tap on/off.
Android 10 may break it, Android 11 certainly will.

What? Who said anything about screen lock?

I reflashed the Stock UAMDL rom and then reflashed TWRP and root. (after trying a few roms and having strange behavior in the Gapps, specifically).
How do I get my screen to unlock and show the time when I swipe my hand over the screen/sensor, when the phone is locked?
It does not seem to work now. All the other hand gestures/eye-gestures works fine, it just do not want to unlock the screen to show the time anymore.
Ideas? Am I missing a setting, somewhere?
Thanks
Go to Settings > Motions and Gestures then click on air gestures and make sure quick glance is on

DUH!!!!
Thank you! I feel like an idiot, after flashing stock twice in a row, thinking it was corrupt or something.
Just wondering why TMO/SAMSUNG turns this off by default.
Again - Thanks
Probably off for default to have better battery life
I didn't have On-Body Detection when I upgraded to Lollipop OB6, but I just checked my Security settings today and now I do have it! I didn't notice or accept any new system updates, so I don't know how or when I got it. It might be worth a check to see if you have it too.

I saw on another forum that this was added as part of an automatic update to Google Play Services.
Hello all,
I have the T-Mobile LG-D851 and I'm currently running Android 4.4.2 stock which has been rooted. I've also followed a guide to modify the stock tethering so it appears as if it is only using my mobile data instead of tethering. I have TWRP recovery installed.
I do not want to upgrade to Lollipop because I do not want to have to repeat the above steps. How do I rid myself of the annoying System Update Message that is always popping up and stuck in my drop down menu?
Is it so hard to use the search button? What's wrong with you?

I did search. I suppose I did it wrong. This search button isn't exactly google.
Thanks for the link.
After using ANT+ with my OPO for last 2 years I'm now really frustrated, that ANT+ doesn't work at the new OP3 .
Ant-Tester says, that ANT is build in and requires ANT Radio Service. This is also installed, but a very annoying problem: the app-right to use the hardware may be set - but gets lost when leaving the page. It is impossible to set the right permanently .
Does anybody knows something about tis problem?

That sounds really bad - I've had the hope, changing to CM14.1 will solve the problem...
I really want to make it disappear its annoying (i dont have root and unlocked bootloader) One ui 5*
Use Package Disabler or adb edit.
Disable these two.

Disable Playstore auto updates as well. They can screw you up... Once I get a device optimized I don't upgrade/update firmware. I rarely update apps. Result is a very long lived, stable platform with minimal issues.
Samsung Wearables updates and Buds+ firmware upgrades have broken stuff for me. I also block these especially the firmware upgrades. Samsung is hit or miss... goofballs
