This ROM is based on CM14.1 nightlies and has only small changes to improve performance and tweak the user experience to my own needs. The current state is that you only notice small to none changes. This ROM is NOT daily driver ready. It is mostly stable, but the camcorder doesn't work.

Installation
First Install:
1. Make a full backup
2. Full wipe
3. Install ROM (TWRP 3.0.2 recommended)
4. Install GAPPS (Open Gapps mini recommended)
5. Reboot (First boot may take up to 30 minutes)
FYI: My first boot time was 5 minutes and 45 seconds. The first normal boot is MUCH quicker.
Update Existing Mr. OS:
1. Make a full backup
2. Install ROM (TWRP 3.0.2 recommended)
3. Install GAPPS (Open Gapps mini recommended)
4. Reboot

This is why it is marked as Alpha and not as Stable. I have now listed it to be not working.

Not now, because CM is dead and I want to update my sources frequently. I'm moving to Lineage OS. If everything is ready and set up correctly and the first ROM's are booting I will put that information in the main post.

I will give this ROM a try thats for sure.

Thank you for your continued support for this device, really appreciate it. So finally Oreo ROMs now have VoLTE right? I'm gonna try it soon. Hope to see the same state on Pie as well.

First of all, Thanks Sakil for this beautiful Rom.
An Oreo 8.1 with VoLTE was just a dream till using this Rom.
Smooth UI, decent battery life, Overall its nice ?
Some bugs that I found are:
1. EDL bug (not an issue at all)
2. Double tap to wake (Found an option to wake device with volume key)
3. Bluetooth bug: Can't play via Bluetooth speaker. No connecting issues, but nothing hears after that
4. Manual mode missing on Pixelmaster camera.
Once again thanks Sakil for continuing support for this device. Waiting for more updates and happy about VoLTE is not in the Bug list.

Same feedback as above. I don't really know about what EDL bug is but I found out that we can't shutdown the phone as shutdown timer crashes as soon as shutdown is tapped. The phone then just power cycles and turns on again.

- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)

By installing Magisk the phone does not start anymore
with magisk 20.4 it goes into bootloop
with magisk 21 and 21.1 only fastboot starts automatically
The results are the same with both the vanilla and GApp versions Tested on my Redmi Note 8T

Magisk is in beta's. So some specific zips work right now. It will take sometime for every (available) magisk to work.

For now I have put the MIUI back, but if you can tell me a working version of Magisk I could go back to PixysOS Another bug I found: it doesn't recognize NTFS from OTG Thanks for the commitment of this project, I am confident.

Has anyone got GCam or another camera app working that works with the wide angle camera too? I tried installing GCam 8.x and it just wouldn't open

Bug Fixes!
When installing this rom for first time do not reboot to system instead reboot to recovery then reboot to system this will ensure you don't lose your current recovery cheers
If you experience lockscreen issue
Got to TWRP and delete locksettings.db data\system\locksettings.db
These 2 bugs will be fixed soon

Hey, sorry that was my fault I forgot to add the bugs section but yes should be fixed in may security patch also more features soon and screenshots will be added too with may update

after reboot it lost my pattern and did not let me in, had to reboot to recovery and delete the file data\system\locksettings.db

I'll check for a fix for this, in the morning I'll add this to the bugs list too so I don't forget it let me know if any other bugs appear as I love to hear feedback

Very nice looking, very light - 1.1Gb with GAPS included. No junk, in the meantime no too much extra customization, but enough if you are not a child
