Hi!
I have a car stereo with bluetooth handsfree included (JVC KD-BT1), but it stopped working a year ago or so. At first I was always thinking the car stereo is broken, because all other bluetooth handsfree sets seemed to work fine.
But when I tried an Android 2.3.5/ base 3.06.405.1-ROM, everything was working fine. I verified this by using several ROMs with different bases and so far, only Android 2.3.5/3.06.405.1 seems to work. Therefore my only choice at the moment are DeSense and Honeywonder3D.
It seems to be a problem of my car stereo, but unfortunately I couldn't find a possibility to do a firmware upgrade...
Maybe some of the all-knowing ROM devs have an idea on how to integrate the bluetooth package from the latest version/base to other ROMs, maybe somebody made the same experience with the car stereo and managed to solve it?
Hello,
i´ve got the same problem with this Car Stereo.
Did you find a solution?
I´ve got a Samsung Galaxy Nexus und Bluetooth would be great!
hi guys
i was looking for the smartwatch, but i have a question
i use a2dp on my car, with a bluetooth stereo, for music
it's a must have for me
now i use an iphone, but i will go with sgs3 as soon as it will be out (preordered)
my question is: if the phone uses the bt to be connected to the watch, will the a2dp still works? or the phone manages only one connetion at time?
thank you
PS: oh , the same question is good for the liveview
Hi,
I have the smartwatch with a HTC Desire and no problem at all to use my bluetooth headset with the watch at the same time.
Well, I never tried to get a call with the watch using the headset but is a smartwatch feature so I guess It will work.
Bye.
What's up everybody,
Just posting a thread because one of my best mates bought a black One X on my recommendation because it's a total powerhouse of a handset, except he's having some issues connecting it over bluetooth to his car.
He's got a lovely brand new 12 plate Vauxhall (in the UK, Opel elsewhere and i assume they all use the same software) Corsa with a built-in Bluetooth car kit. His phone connects fine, he can even dial from the steering wheel and start the call, but all audio takes place through the phone speaker. We've tried pairing, unpairing, playing around with a whole host of bluetooth settings, but call audio always takes place through the phone speaker rather than the car itself.
This was never the case with his old Nexus S, or my HD7, but our teacher's One X and another friend's One X have the same problem: no audio routes itself through the car's speakers.
Does anybody have a solution? Has anybody got a similar problem?
HTC one X
Hi, the problem is an app called "car". It takes control when ever you connect your phone to a car kit. Open the app, it has a steering wheel above it and click on the settings, where it displays the bluetooth symbol. Un-click all the auto launch and auto connect settings. That should cure it.
please help..
Hi,
Guys I am having the same issue in my one x version 4.0.3. I can't pick up calls and talk straight from my car's speakers . i have first to pick up from the from and switch the speaker to htc speaker then I have to switch the phone to my car speaker again. At this point the call is heard through the car's speakers. !! PLZ HOW CAN I FIX THIS ??
Me Too!
My car does this too, only way to get sound is go into the menu on the car and tick "Free Speech"
Hoping 4.0.4 or 4.1 fixes this!
HTC's advice was return the phone....

Hi All, I bought a new Car Bluetooth Handsfree Kit from Blaupunkt few days back.
Now my Note 2 does pair with the BT Device for both Media & Phone function; but when i call someone or receive a call using the BT Handsfree, I am able to hear the other person but the other person is not able to hear my voice...!!! Its like I am on mute..!!
I tested the same BT Handsfree with my wife's Sony Xperia ZR and it functions perfect with it.
Is there any way i can make my GN2 work fine with the BT Handsfree ?? Please help me out guys....
I have tried pairing & re-pairing but still same thing is happening. Is this common ??
Please help me guys....
Hey,
I am anxiously waiting for the 360 to be available!!!
I do have a question though:
Is it possible to connect to the watch, as well as use a pair of bluetooth headphones with mic/in car hands-free system at the same time?
Hi, I have similar question - Is it possible to use smartwatches as microphone with BT headphones without mic? IE those:

My Nexus 5 connects to my car, watch (pebble, g watch) and odb port all at the same time just fine.
