Lineage OS 18.1 Battery drain - Nokia 6.1 (2018) Questions & Answers

I installed Lineage OS 18.1 on my Nokia 6.1 using the instructions from their official site. The ROM is pretty stable and all features work as intended but the battery drain is too much. Is there any way to solve this? I have also installed Magisk so if there are modules that help improve battery life.. please do tell.

Try lineage os 19.1 official, it has good battery backup....if not try reducing screen resolution by typing "wm density 290" and then "wm size 720x1280" in ad shell in cmd

[SOLVED] Best battery life : Resurrection Remix or LineageOS

Hi everybody,
I'm currently running official LineageOS 14.1 but the battery life isn't that good.
Has someone tried both Resurrection Remix and LineageOS to tell me the difference please ?
I mean I don't want to reinstall everything if it's not better
Thank you
You could try installing RR with dual boot patcher to see it yourself, it's not difficult at all and you can keep lineage untouched. Anyway I don't think RR has a great improvement on battery over lineage. Hope it helped
Hi there. I am on RR 5.8.3 actual. I'm very satisfied with the battery life of the phone. It's lives longer than on original LG Stock Rom. I've tried Imperium Rom too and liked it much but RR based now on 7.1.2 and Imperium just 6.0. So it's you're Decide. But you can't install Imperium with DualBootPatcher cause it comes with the Aroma Installer. That doesn't work with the Patcher.
As far as I can tell, there are no major differences in battery performances between the most common AOSP or CM derived android roms. It will mostly depends on the apps you install.
Thanks everyone

If you are looking for good Oreo ROM it's Lineage os 15.1 or resurrection remix os
In case of android pie it's crdroid ROM .this ROM is super stable has all the features and has good battery life . I am getting around 10hrs SOT . it's a daily driver material .
Do these roms have the function of double applications and closing applications in the background like stock room? I'm traveling a lot so important for me is a deep sleep to save battery, is it working ok?
For me the best rom is Viperos3.1.1, it is old nougat rom but this is good enough for me.

Battery friendly custom rom

Hi
I've been recently messing with my Dumpling... Tried a couple of ROMs ... Aex kreig , OOS pie beta , bliss ROM , Official RR... I don't find convincing...
AEX s good... RR which I loved in Oneplus 1 is ok for 5t...Official OOS is battery draining...Any suggestions for battery friendly smooth ROM!? (Without much bugs)
TIA

No custom ROM offers better battery life than oos. So if you getting bad battery life on oos then it would be much worse on custom ROMs. You can enable deep and sleep optimisation for better battery life if you have turned them off. If you are rooted install bbs and send screenshot of alarms and wakelocks. Post some screenshots maybe someone here could help you. You can try out derpfest but it won't offer better battery life than oos
use oos beta with weeb or render zenith kernel gud combination for battery and performance.

Has anyone tried to flash Treble/GSI?

I know flo is super outdated but after flashing GSI on my pixel 1, it got really smooth and fast. Hoping I could bring my flo back to life. I tried the latest lineage official and unofficial but the battery life wasn't great. I just want the gesture navigation and a fast device
Thanks in advance

Nexus 7 2013 does not support Treble partitions for flashing GSI images. For a speedy performance, I would recommend you to head over to the LOS 14.1 unofficial build maintained by @wileyc . The ROM is not only smooth, but delivers better with Elemental X kernel and a non-gapps based system.
