S20 ultra software update - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

My Samsung s20 Ultra 5g, is still running on android 10. And last security update was September 2020. I've been in touch with Samsung who have told me to factory reset and clear cache. And still shows I have the latest software?
Someone has said it maybe the csc config
Can anyone help.

I suggest you update it manually by odin. Just use Frija or download the rom from sammobile and flash it.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 AT&T Marshmallow UK

I purchased a Galaxy Note 5 from eBay. It came with Android 5.1.1, i have tried doing a software update but says i have the latest software. I have tried updating through Samsung Smart Switch but says my device is not supported. I have read other people have updated to Android 6 but it will not update mine. Is there anything else i can do? My device is the N920A. Thanks
You need to have an (activated) AT&T SIM Card in the phone before you can get OTA updates on an AT&T model - that really stinks doesn't it? !!!
However if you are willing to do a factory reset and use ODIN to flash the firmware upgrade, you can get the July 6.0.1 Marshmallow update form here:
http://www.androidsage.com/2016/06/...5-to-n920aucu2bpe6-android-6-0-1-marshmallow/
I am in Canada and was wondering if it would work to get a AT&T pay as you go sim card for the phone and then do the update over wifi?
Have now done the upgrade and running Marshmallow, thanks for your help
Good to hear ... did you use Odin or did you find an AT&T SIM for OTA update?
You can also apply all the OTA updates using ADB sideload (but that factory resets your handset every time, so do a full backup with Smart Switch PC app beforehand)

T-Mobile Galaxy Watch SM-R805U 46mm LTE Will Not Update. Period. Help!

Since I purchased the watch from my local T-Mobile back in August 2018, I have never been able to update the thing. battery life is abysmal along with a few other glitches. According to T-Mobile (and their "updates" website), I should have received at least 2 updates since then.
I am currently running SW version R805USQU1ARH8
Tizen Version 4.0.0.0
The watch, itself, does not have an "update SW" option.
The Wearable app always gives me the same message..."You're on the latest software version. No updates available"
Everyone, from Samsung to T-Mobile's reps seem completely stumped. I have reset the watch, reset the phone, updated the Wearable app, so many times I have lost track - I'm hoping that someone here can help me fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.
I did it with net Odin and I think you update it with Samsung watch app on your phone
1.
Why not use warranty blabla crap and T-Mobile Service center or Samsung should update the watch...
2.
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/TMB/SM-R805U/version.xml
If SM-R805U is T-Mobile CSC/Sales Code... then you see how many Firmwares official and latest... in this Link.
3.
Update mechanism is """"Running Gag"""...
If you choose to use Phone + ugly Samsung Software...
Phone look for Update on Server....
Menu on SM-R805U is DEACTIVATED...
3.1
If you choose Standalone Configuration... you will find menu Software update... on Watch
4.
Update at Home are more risky... require netOdin AAAAAAAAAANNNNd you need the Firmware Files.... leaked files...
Most on PAID Sites... example:
https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=folder&id=35613
Best Regards
go to settings use dial code to factory reset or did you try that
I had the same issue, I used the post here with the BSE3 update and odin to update my watch the newest version. My watch was doing the same thing saying it was updated when it was not. It was super simple and didn't take that long.

No OTA updates after installing 9.0 via Odin

I manually installed android pie to german version G960FXXU2CRLI and now I lost my OTA updates. It still sits on january 1st
I am from Croatia and now I am looking at croatian pie version G960FXXU2CSB9. Should I install that firmware via Odin and do I need to factory reset my phone even if both are same android versions?
Will I receive OTA updates in the future if I update to G960FXXU2CSB9 ?
I have the same problem. I'm stuck on December 2018 security patch level after upgrading to Pie via Odin.

OTA not working, how to manually update G981B?

Hi there,
my G20 5G (Europe) doesn't find any updates after security level September, and that's been going on for some time. It's not a branded version, so I think I'll need to update manually. Now I haven't manually flashed anything since my old Nexus 5 and have never flashed anything with Odin.
Could anyone point me to the correct OTA-file and instructions how to flash OTA-files without wiping the phone? With the myriad of options I'm not sure which file to get for my specific model.
This is my phone info:
Modelnumber: SM-G981B/DS
Buildnumber: QP1A.190711.020.G981BXXU4BTIB
Basebandversion: G981BXXU4BTIO
//edit:
ok, i found about CSC and stuff, I'm on a T-Mobile software and they are the reason I don't get security updates in time.
Case closed for me, will look in to samkey.

SM-G965U Odin firmware update from android 9 to android 10

Been wanting to update my s9+ from android 9 to android 10 but I cannot do OTA since I keep getting "Unable to update the software. A network or server error occurred. Try again later" -- already tried clearing cache and changing dates.
Also tried the switch method but that just tells me my phone is up to date.
Looked around and seems like Odin was the only way to upgrade.
Just have quick question: Can I flash the firmware if I haven't unlocked my OEM?
Using this firmware and the odin software beside that page:
Download Samsung Galaxy S9+ SM-G965U TMB USA (T-Mobile) G965USQS8FTJ6 firmware
Fast download latest Samsung Galaxy S9+ firmware SM-G965U from USA (T-Mobile) with G965USQS8FTJ6 and Android version 10

you certainly can flash it. the only issue youll run into is flashing the U1 version on a non U1 phone (U1 is the factory unlocked FW version). You can even get around that with patched Odin. Anyways, your answer is a yes

When you mean by patched Odin -- would it be the one that was posted here? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...encrypt_remover_add_us_ca-rriers_aio.4051751/
What would be the problem when flashing the U1 version you mentioned? I am downloading the right firmware from Samsung's website though.

the firmware mismatch alert in Odin will force a crash and not allow the flash to occur, patched Odin ignores the alert and just punches it through anyways. You can SEVERELY bork your phone with patched Odin, so be careful. Also, patched Odin is here and the best source of firmwares is sammobile.com/firmwares but use samfirm to download it as its literally 5x faster than directly DL'ing it.
