I can't stand the little green floating buttons and I cannot find a way to turn them off. Any suggestions? They are in the lower right of the attached image
Try : Settings > Accessibility > Sound Notifications. Toggle it off.

There were 2 or 3 different controls but I never thought of looking in accessibility. I found them all thanks to your hint. Thanks.
Apparently the accessibility buttons affects the camera zoom lens and instead of buttons you get a slider.
All these floaters are starting to collide against each other!

I am runnining this ROM:
[ROM][4.1.1][GSM][PRIMOU]Android Open Kang Project Jellybean
and it should be the 10/8/12 build.
I cannot send picture texts (it says "downloading" and then it doesn't go anywhere no matter if wifi/data are on. How can i fix this?
Also, i find the jellybean multitasking button useless if it doesn't bring up the multitasking apps instead of having to hold the home button. How can i remap this?
Also, if i were to re-rom my old stock rom can i still upload a kernel onto it to make it overclocked? Also, is the music app found in CM10 because on this rom its missing, i had to use a 3rd party music app to get this done.
Please help me with my questions, all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is it possible to get back the AOSP-style separate quick settings panel (two finger swipe down for settings, nothing but notifications in the notification panel)?

bump, anyone?
Interested in this as well. Maybe with the G3 tweakbox
With the G2 you could swipe up from the button and acces quickmemo.
There's only a google search option with the G4, any way to change this?

Not that I've found. there are two other good options:
1) Add QuickMemo+ to your quick shortcuts in the notification panel
2) add a shortcut to your lock screen
This should work.
Settings > Apps > (Menu) Reset Default Apps
Clear whichever one it is, and redo the action and you should get an option to reassign + some other options
Mine gives me the option to call out a tasker task or greenify screen off+lock which is what I do so i can turn the screenoff even from a full screen app without using the button on the back.
I do not see the ability to change my sound profile: sound , vibrate, silent -by pulling down on the notification bar shortcuts...
Is that a possibility in Nougat ? If so, how.
I have an old widget called "Silent Mode Widget" that I can place on my home screen, but have somewhat gotten accustomed to just pulling down from the top of the screen to make the change... Thanks in advance for any tips on this one.
Just found this. swipe down to open quick settings shade, pull down again to access more quick settings, and then you'll see "do not disturb", that has the sound silence settings in it. If you hit edit you can move it up to the top row if you want.
I see that, but that is not what I am referring to. - That is for a period of time for "Do Not Disturb" - It is not the volume toggle button where you have three options for "Sound, Vibrate, or Silent" which is what I'm looking for...
I was looking for the same thing and found a free app that adds the toggle - works great:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.quicktiles&rdid=com.cgollner.quicktiles
If you want some more toggle options, there are other apps as well.
Volume Slider LIKE 'Brightness' Slider would be perfect!
I wish there was an app/tweak that would allow one to install a volume slider like the brightness slider in quick settings that did not require all sorts of other development tools and a desk/laptop! That would be perfect. And again, like others are saying it should have come with the OS.
The real question is, how do we edit the more in depth sounds? Like with my s7 edge I could control the volume of system sounds, ringer, media, and notifications. How would we do that on pixel I can't find any setting that lets me do it.

I use Volume Butler from the Playstore it works great! It also separates the ring volume and the notification volume. Very easy setup.
Hello everyone,
I'm running lineage os on a Xiaomi Mi5 (4gb RAM, 128 GB variant) and whenever I'm listening to audio, there are moving bars on the lockscreen, like a sort of equalizer.
This isn't a big deal as I don't see it for more than maybe a split second, but I'd still like to know if there is a way or an option to disable it.
Thanks for your feedback.
Forgot to add screenshot, sorry. The above mentioned bars are at the bottom.
You should be able to disable it by going to Settings -> press Search on top right -> type "Display music visualizer" -> Select the respective search result -> Use the toggle to disable
Settings - Security - Lockscreen (settings button)...

I don't have such settings. But the answer above yours worked.
Thanks anyway.
