Question [REQUEST] Magic Eraser Photos APK - Google Pixel 6 Pro

Can someone either dump their APK or share what version of Photos is on your device? Been trying to figure out which version on APK Mirror is supposed to have Magic Eraser.
...Also, I wonder why Google doesn't just release this feature to all Pixel devices...

I saw that, I was hoping someone had a more recent version.

It doesn't depend on a server-side switch as well? The Google Photos app version I'm running is 5.66.0.406885096. I'll see if I can attach the apk in a moment.
Edit: The APK is in the process of uploading through the XDA app, will take a minute or two... Uploaded in new post below.
I love Nova 7's built-in ability to save an APK from a long-press on an app's icon! I knew I enabled that for a reason.

Try this. I'm frankly surprised a 70.5 MB attachment is acceptable on XDA. I coulda compressed it but I didn't; let me know if I should to avoid corruption.

I don't think it's something wrong with your package; it's something to do with the new Photos builds.
I uninstalled all updates for Photos, and I was able to install the 5096/1127 version. The one you posted is also 5096, but interestingly it's 70MB, whereas the only ARM64 versions on APKMirror are the 66MB one (5096/1119) and the 100MB one (5096/1127).
It's really hard to tell what the "latest" version is - the one you posted is the latest version I see on Play Store (5.66.0.406885096) but there's also 5.66.0.4092455188, 5.66.0.409436829, 5.67.0.409192963, 5.67.0.409448818...
I don't know a ton about device specific apps, is there a particular version that's appropriate for Pixels?

[MOD][XPOSED] NFC Icon Remover [HTC One/One X]

NFC Icon Remover
**You can now get NFC Icon Remover on the Xposed Framework's Download tab. In this way, if I update it, you will get update notice via Xposed framework. However, I will still post the most updated file here once available! **
I just wrote this little App for my own use to remove the ugly (IMHO) NFC icon. With the power of XPosed framework, there are no need to modify the NFC.apk and the Icon is complete GONE.
For those you may not know, the NFC icon appears on HTC One and One X (after Android 2.2 update). This take out the precious space of status bar while looking really ugly.
Please be noted to use this mod, you need XPosed framework by rovo89. You could get the Framework at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
This App has no icon of it's own. Just side load attached NFCIconRemover.apk and enable it in the Xposed Installer then reboot. You will notice the NFC icon will be gone after reboot.
Since this is my first Android app (Actually my last time writing any SW is 20 years ago! Haha!) so feel free to risk your phone by installing this. I am NOT responsible if it anything went wrong after install this mod.
I had only test this on my HTC One X (international version) with MaximusHD 21.1.0 (a very good custom ROM). Please feel free to feedback on this thread and I will try to resolve as much as I could.
If you find this useful, it would be appreciated to push the "Thank" button!
Great thanks go to rovo89 for this fabulous framework!!!
When I try to install from within xposed framework, I get the following error message:
Package name is incorrect (downloaded: com.lssong.nfciconremover, expected: NFCIconRemover)
Any idea?
edit: Just noticed that manual installation of the .apk works. So more or less a non-issue, but maybe worth solving anyway.

Yeah, I get the same thing happening.
As said above, manual installation of the .apk worked fine. The module is now listed in xposed framework, and I could enable it. Unfortunately it's not removing the NFC icon on my device (LG G2).

Thanks for trying out! I just fixed the download installation issue in the Xposed framework. It should work now... *My Bad*...
As for LG G2 not working... Since I don't have a LG, could you please help by checking if the LG G2's NFC service package name is com.android.nfc? If not, what is the name?
Thanks!
Hi. How can i have the nfc back again? Thanks
Installed, works great, thanks!

If you want the NFC icon back, just disable this module in XPosed frameworks and reboot. The NFC icon will be back. (uninstalling the module then reboot will do the same trick)

Since my One X doesn't have 4.3 yet, so I cannot test myself. However, as long as Xposed framework works and the NFC process is named "com.android.nfc" then it *should* work.
Feel free to install it and post your result here! It won't hurt anything and if it doesn't work, just remove it.
If it doesn't work, could you please let me know your NFC's process name so I could add it.
Thanks!
Sony Xperia Z
Process name is
com.sonymobile.nfc
Or at least it is on my rooted stock T-Mobile version. Model #C6606. Running 4.1.2 (I know, ridiculous).
Thanks for the mod. I hate that icon!

If you don't know how to get a process name, try to get Android Tuner free. In that app you can see all the process name!
From the information on XDA, it seems LG had their own implementation of NFC and lot of things are changed under-hook. I had look up into the BaskSamli people provide and pull the com.lge.nfcaddon. Not sure if it's correct and even if it's correct, will it work or not.
Anyway, you can try the attached apk and check yourself! If it works, I will post it on the XPosed framework's download page
Cheers!

Which is a reliable source for Google Account Manager apk?

I have been reading up on what it would take to make sideloaded apps that require Google Play Services to work correctly. All the posts I have read point to downloading a package of files from someone's dropbox account.
Being paranoid of malware, I would like to see if I can either download it from a Google Play Store site, APKMIRROR or create an APK from the files which are already present on my current Android Smartphone.
Can someone please suggest some alternatives.
On a related note, just because an APK from an online site does not exhibit any weird behavior does not mean it is malware-free. Often malware do their job silently in the background while the device appears to function normally.

All APKs are signed. You just need to verify the signature is Google's.
@rbox - That is certainly not true.

Um... what?
To quote that page:
A signature in the apk attests to the authenticity of the file as long as the public key can be traced to the original developer.

All APKs are signed by the developer. In the case of gapps, they are all signed with Google's key. You just verify that that key mathes something you trust, that you know is signed by google.
Fair point. But what I was trying to indicate is Google Account Manager is not an official APK package made available by Google. So how would I verify that?

No clue what google account manager is. Download it from the play store, then check the signature. Then you can download it from anywhere you want on the web and verify the signature.

[STOCK] Google Camera download

If you're on a custom ROM that didn't come with Google Camera, then you can use this one.
Just download the GoogleCamera.zip.
Unzip it.
Then copy the entire Google Camera folder to /system/priv-app.
Then change permissions of the folder to match other folders.
Then change permissions of the apk inside to match other apks.
Then reboot and profit.
Download pulled from January 2017's "V" stock firmware:

[App] OnePlus 6T TMobile Launcher APK with Google Feed

Found this apk on Reddit. I don't yet have my 6T. My unlocked one is coming tomorrow, but I saw someone say the option to enable the Google Feed in the native OnePlus launcher is available ONLY on TMobile variants.
FYI, this isn't my link so it might be beneficial to add a mirror. I'll attempt to add one later
So here is a link I got from Reddit with that apk: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NVqs9u_r--AYaB-cRqfDkab1fMXdI_7p
Original source: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/9uec1u
Edit: Unsure if this will work for unlocked 6T models.
thanks for adding this...look forward to finding a solution. I have the tmobile version and the unlocked direct from oneplus (dont ask lol) So i was really surprised when i turned on the op version and found that there was no google feed available. On the plus side gestures etc work properly!
Tried installing the OP's APK. Shows as an update to an existing app but it won't install. I have no details beyond that, sorry.

They're probably signed differently. You'll need to disable the built in launcher first and then try installing it. (Might be easier to install a third launcher first so you can still navigate around after disabling the stock launcher and installing the T-Mobile one).
It might also be a feature in the ROM and not the launcher.
I updated to the 9.10 version of the launcher from apkmirror and I still have the shelf/Google option on my T-Mobile variant.

Might be an "enabler" type app like pixel bridge. We need someone on T-Mobile to do some digging.
Yep... I need this.
meanwhile trying to install the 3.1 launcher on my tmobile 6t doesn't give me the updated gestures....
Very interested in this as well! I'm good with the Oxygen Launcher but am really missing my Now feed from my Pixel 2 XL. I know I can load a different launcher (Nova, Rootless, etc) but want to experience the pure Oxygen OS as I've heard great things about it! (First time OnePlus user) Adding the Google Feed widget to the shelf doesn't work either. It never updates.
I have Nova prime installed and when I go to integrations the Google feed option isn't there. Anyone else seeing this on an unlocked 1+6t?

Added the magisk module for this. Try flashing that.
You built this with the same package name as the original OPLauncher, so it won't install over the existing one due to signature mismatch.

yup updated the thread with a magisk module.
Is it possible to get this working without need for magisk just by changing the signature so that it is installed as a second launcher?
Sorry, I can't find how to change the shelf screen... I haven't been able to use Google feed. Thanks in advance
Make sure to uninstall any updates for one plus launcher from play store and turn off the auto updates. Then long press one homescreen and go to settings.....left most screen.
