Hi, I'm using Poco F3 with MIUI 12.5.6 Stable. I wanted to ask a question regarding torch on/off indication in notification bar. Whenever I turn on torch, there is no indication in notification area that it's on. I have configured the torch with double tap on finger sensor, sometimes, I accidentally turn it on without knowing. In day light, I never know it's turned on by accident. Please Help.

So here is the thing,
Yesterday before going to sleep, tap to ambient display was working without a problem. Today the tap to ambient wakeup doesn't work at all. D2W was always turned off. I didn't install anything and my device is not rooted as well. What could be the problem?
EDIT : Found the solution on OP forums.
For anyone facing the same problem.
HERE'S THE FIX:
CULPRIT: Proximity Sensor.
LOCATION: Just below the Front Camera. It you Flash a bright LED light you would see 2 small sensors on the screen it self.
HOW TO: Whenever your Ambient Display stops working-
1. Just turn off the display by pressing the power button once.
2. Now take a bright LED light preferably use another smartphone's LED Flashlight.
3. Just bring the light close to the proximity sensor, the turn on the display by pressing the power button then turn it off. Repeat this 2-3 times.
You will notice that the double tap to wake and raise to wake feature start working again.
Well mine did 3 out of 3 times.
It's basically the issue of the proximity sensor that need recalibration.
I hope someone from the OnePlus team is reading this and does the needful to fix this issue once and for all.
Till then keep trying my LED flashlight method to reactivate the Ambient Display.

Hello mate,
Thx for the reply but as mentioned I have a 7t that doesn't have the proximity sensor anymore?
AOD works but the notifications are not light up the lockscreen when receive them on the lockscreen. With or without AOD enabled.

My screen/display won't wake when I pick up my phone and tap on the screen with my finger in the dark. I have to press the power button to wake it up. Both "Tap to check phone" and "Lift to check phone" are On. Has anyone else seen this problem?
Pocket detection with proximity & light sensors giving you a false positive in the dark
Thanks miravision, do you know any fixes for this? Or this is just what it is...
Having the same thing
Bedtime Mode & DnD deactivate a host of features, like AoD and other sensors. Did you check if those are active whenever you face these issues?
Both are off.
Just saw this in the list of issues fixed in the December update, hopefully this is reason.
Fix for issue preventing lift to wake and double tap to wake in certain conditions *[1].
Fix for issue preventing Always-on-display from turning on in certain conditions *[1].
Hello guys, after the last update I have a problem. At the slightest move of the phone the display turns on and it is very irritating, also as soon as I lock it with the power button and the display turns on immediately.

You have active the option "Move/Raise phone to wake up screen" in Gestures ?
Or AOD?
I have 1+9P A12 and have disabled "Raise to wake" in Gestures. Everytime phone moves or "table bumps", the phone wakes. I cannot find how to disabled that - I wonder that it is not possible yet!?
You have to disable Always-On Display in settings>Personalizations
Hi all. I bought my first oneplus smartphone, 9rt. The alert slider looks good, but I don't use silent or vibrate only mode, so the alert slider is useless for me. But it's a cool feature and I want to program it and bind my own functions. For example, if I move the warning slider up, the flashlight turns on, if I set the slider to the middle position, the flashlight turns off. And maybe other things.
So how can I do this? I can't find this setting in the settings, but it seems to have been in previous versions
Now i have oxygen OS 11.3
I am not tech geek to know how to 'hack OS' or something and no want turn my phone to brick))
Thank you for help)
