Hello! What Screen on time are you guys getting on your Mix Fold?
At least one full day with mixed use of small (most of the time) and large (about one third of the time) screen.

I get like around 4-6 hours of SOT when I check in the setting. And that would be social media and YouTube. Seems a bit low for 5000mah?

Hmm I can get to the end of the day with around 60% left, that's because im a light user, if I don't charge the phone overnight I have around 30% the next day but that's as far as I have tested it, im on MIUI 12.5.1 Stable and I have turned off the ambient display since it eats allot of battery

Hi all,
I was just wondering what everyone's else's battery usage looks like, because ever since I got the phone I've been having very poor battery time (it only lasts 7 hours with barely any heavy usage; wifi on only when needed). I want to know of it's something I'm doing wrong or if my battery is the problem.
I've disabled some annoying apps from running constantly (e.g. Photobucket) and am running Launcher pro with some widgets (manual refresh only). I don't know what else I can do to save my battery... screen brightness is low as well.
So, what does your Battery usage thingy look like and am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
P.S. Is the 'Android' supposed to take up that much battery?

I get fairly good battery use throughout the day. I'd say with moderate to heavy use I get about 15-20 hours before the phone is dead. Right now after six hours unplugged it's at 76%.
Board won't let me post outside links yet

Definitely look for juice defender, it saves battery life by turning off your data plan when the phone is on idle (screen is locked) and it automatically turns on when you unlock your phone. I had the exact same issue you're having now and only originally getting on avg 8 to 9 hours on my phone while I was only at school for 6 hours.
After a day of installing juice defender I can honestly say I can comfortably have my phone on for 10 to 12 hours of use with mild usage (1 hour of pandora, 1 to 2 hours of angry birds, and some web surfing) and the battery'll still be at roughly 50some odd %. Trust me you can definitely live wihout having your internet one when your phones in your pocket.. just my preference.
What the heck killed my battery? This is with the extended battery and I started from a full charge after flashing a new rom and clearing battery stats..
I turned off all connections, and turned off sync.. Sat the phone down and went to bed after about an hour of web surfing.. I went to bed with 70% left and woke up 6 hours later with 37%...

Its all in the last screenshot. Keep awake time is huge. That's the bug if I had to guess.

That keep awake time is normal, nothing strange there...
Your story of browseing for an hour then going to sleep for 6 hours doesnt match your batteries' graph.
According to your story, there should have been a sharp decline from browsing web since the screen would be sucking the power, then a very slight decline from being idle, something was either running in the background (facebook maybe, it has a high % of usage) who knows?
Yeah idk.. If you look at when wifi was on that was when I was browsing.. Then after that there is a steep decline which doesn't make sense to me.. I don't think it was Facebook or anything because all data/sync was off...
I know it takes a day or two for a new rom to settle in but I certainly wouldn't think it would have that large of an impact

I read somewhere that there is/was a bug where after a reboot Google talk or maybe google+ launches the camera in the background which keeps running until you manually open the camera app and close it. I believe I read it some where on Franco's kernel post. Not sure if the bug is still there and if it's the culprit here, but might be worth investigating.
How many of you did receive a dead battery on arrival? Some people in sweden did and they claim to have terrible batterylife according the themself. This units dosen't seem to survive a day with easy use. Could it be a connection here with a dead/over-discharged battery and the terrible batterylife that some experience?
How many of you did receive a dead battery on arrival and does it perform worse than avarage?

Uhm I got a normal one but a dead battery could be a bad sign considering this kind of battery technology doesn't like being on low % of battery. If your battery had 0 % from the start it could really damage it.
There could be a link between an empty battery and bad battery performance.
(Just my 2 cents)
My phone didn't arrive dead, but they turned it in for me in the shop and it died on me on the way home. Plugged it in to power and it took ages before it displayed a flashing orange light, then another good 15 mins before I got a solid orange light and it was charging to the point where I could turn it on.
That said, here are my stats today.

I would expect to get over 4 hours screen on time, which seems ok to me, considering we should get further improvement with updates.

Hi I was testing my phone and when I was on a idea chat, HTC 10 got really hot.
Has anyone also experience this? Or is there some setting that I accidently touched?
I really hope it's not another m9 thing....
How hot is really hot?

Like that?
Yes How hot did it get
Can confirm it does get hot! I didn't benchmark the temp but I've felt it. But it handles it well I think
every phone gets hot under usage, I see people complaining about everything just because they can or because regular user is gonna be regular user and think everything is a problem and not them, but anyways... I have never seen evidence of anything out of the ordinary...
Testing how?

The minimum temperature I measured after a 30 minutos video call was 52 degrees. It was so hot I couldn't even hold it.

Just experienced this, BUT the screen suddenly went black, still responding to touch but unusable. Can't hold it to try and fix it because now the phone seems to be under 100% load with the screen screwed...

Never had great battery life on this phone, at one point this summer I was getting 5+ SOT, but it's getting pretty bad, worse since 10.
I dony really see anything to explain it, at least not anything that one been able take action on.

I would say to get any solid advice you would need to charge fully and then let it run down to about 10% and then show the screen shots.

Actually this is exactly what I did. Unplugged it this morning.
Looks like BBS didn't reset or something? I guess I could do that, and then reboot tomorrow and then unplug?

That should work.
Out of curiosity, are there any updates on this?
