Hello community,
A few months ago I bought a new C 21 and whenever I went to telephone the microphone appears crossed out. I would be glad if anybody here had an idea, what to do about it. Thanks
Sorry for my bad English
I don't think that's a software issue
You should try using mic with some other apps
And please try to ask your question more specifically
Can you attach a screenshot so can better help you
Is the mic actually working normally. If it's the icon I think it is. I believe that is the mute button for when on telephone calls.
@Zartazor I wouldn't start throwing stones in glass houses mate, especially with some of your questions and posts.

There are symptoms there that suggest a battery or battery connection problem. Hard reset by all means but if problems persist, I think I'd be trying a new battery.

Hello everyone,
I got my Nokia Lumia 900 yesterday and have been very pleased with it except for the purple screen/hue issue which I am expecting to be fixed when the update is pushed by Rogers/Nokia.
Another issue I discovered today is that when running the front facing camera sometimes, I see colored distortion lines (pink, purple, lime). This happens only sometimes and not always.
I read on another thread over at Nokia Discussions that a guy had this problem and got the phone replaced.
Please let me know if you've seen this issue before and if there is anything to be done rather than requesting a replacement.
Thank you all!

i've send in to nokia care for service, too bad in Malaysia they don't practice 1 to 1 exchange for mobile devices even if the device is purchase within a week. the service center personal told me that he have not encounter this issue with lumia 900 before, so he is not sure whether is it a HW or SW defect, he says that it will take min 3 working days for him to find out what is the issue, i'll contact them on Wednesday if they did not call me to inform on the status, will keep you posted

Glad to hear you got it sorted out.
The problem disappeared from my camera on its own. If it happens again, I will take it up to support.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

good to hear that as well
Hi!
I have got a mysterious problem with my screen, it's nearly only white with black dots and somewhat the screen used to change to get a perfect picture when I pushed out the gamepad and now it won't even function at all, just a white screen with black dots all over the screen, and I have asked on another forum, and one giy over at that forum told me that many Xperia Play users have to replace this and that this is the thing to replace in most cases, and I just wanna hear from Xperia Play-owners that have had some problems if this is the case for you as well that you had to replace it to get the screen back:
http://www.mytrendyphone.se/shop/sony-ericsson-xperia-49320p.html
I wonder cause i don't wanna buy the wrong part and dissamble it and later in reassamble it and find out that it isn't still working
And sorry for my bad English, but I hope you understand my problem and that you can help me out.
Thanks in advance.
With best regards, RazerBlader
Sorry for posting once again, and yes moderators and all others, consider this a bump as I really need to get the right part so I just don't take it apart to realize it was the wriong thing that I did replace, and I consider it to be enough days that has been since I posted my first post to post this bump as I already wanted my device working again days ago =/
Well, i still got the same question, have I found the right part to replace for my screen-problem?
And if no ones answers now, I will just buy some tools and the part that I have linked to and reed about that it can be and hope and pray for the best at the same time.
thanks in advance for answers.
best regards RazerBlader.

Thanks for the answer, I had a little hope it was anyone going to answer so I have already open it up once, and I wonder, is the slider flex cable the one that I linked to or can you post a link to that kind of cable?
Tanks in advance, I appreciate it a lot!
Hey Guys,
I've got Problems with my headphone jack.
It does not work with every headphones and even with a good working one (yes, it's ugly iPod headphones..) it may not work, if the plug is turned or other "unusual" things happen..
Is this a general problem (cause it's from the beginning - but not as bad as it's right now) or is this only my device?
Will the warranty help or should I just accept that?
Any experiences?
Thanks and greetings form Germany
Flo
You checked if you have rubbish in the jack ? Headphone's goes completely in the jack ?

Which ROM you are using? MIUIv4 SnapSeries has headphones problem. Use toggleheadet2 app from market to resolve it.
I'm using dudemans CM10 build (I'm the guy who wrote the brightness tipp to you )
Mhh the dirt thing could be the reason - I did not think about that
But how will I get it out?
Any ideas?

looking like hardware issue...i m afraid nobody here can help here regarding this...need to contact repair centre
Yeh seems to be a hardware malfunction and sadly no cure for this
Better sell it on eBay for parts and top up the money to get another one
