Hi,
I just got a sim that only supports LTE and VoLTE for calls and messages and basically any connectivity. So what I am looking for is a way to add VoLTE support to my LG G3 D855 32GB International Unlocked phone. It can be a stock ROM addition or a custom ROM, which supports it. Internet data connectivity works fine, just for the VoLTE part I have to use a custom app, which calls over the internet through LTE, but I'd like to have the VoLTE functionality integrated in the ROM. If someone has a solution then it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
First of all check if your phone is capable of VoLTE.. Most of snapdragon and Mtk phones are capable of it.. Second if it is capable then change modem/baseband as per the requirements of service provider. And some minor build.prop addition.. Then you may use Volte. Anyhow cm13 can be made volte capable..
Wondering if anyone can verify if Verizon HD and WiFi calling work on the unlocked A50? They actually both work fine on Sprint without any issue, surprisingly.
As an FYI, I visited a couple of Verizon corporate stores and found the following... The unlocked A50 and the Verizon branded A50 will both do WiFi calling, but neither has VoLTE. Sprint does both - there's a VoLTE indicator in the status bar and a switch in the phone Settings. Verizon has no switch for VoLTE.
Hello there, im trying to activate vowifi, i can activate volte fine but not vowifi, anyone got it activated and if you did how did you do it.

Are you in the USA? If so, that is the reason. Xiaomi phones are not whitelisted for wifi calling by ANY carrier here and this is not expected to change soon.
I am presuming you used short codes to turn on Volte successfully. The Wowfi code works also (phone is wifi calling capable) but its carrier disabled.
I bought a paid plan from FreeUP, an ATT MVNO, where you can use an app dialer to make outgoing wifi calls (and free unlimited international calls) but still no incoming wifi calls.
Same pricing as Mint Mobile.
(Fyi, even if you weren't using a global phone the only Android phones guaranteed to get wifi calling here are the ones the carriers here sell ... There are a few exceptions ... The newer pixels and a few others.)
Hello, how is it possible that my POCO f3 8/256 M2012K11AG MIUI 12.5.5 (global alioth) turns off the data when I call I have a flat rate t mobile (Czech Republic Central Europe) unlimited calling and the internet I have tried almost all options and nothing works please help

it depend on your sim card carrier
I have been looking for that information, thinking about getting this phone to use T-Mobile USA GSM voLTE? is this phone compatible?
@ryantek No, it's not. I have been using Gt Master in Mint Mobile (which is T-Mobile MVNO) for 6 month and no VoLTE, no VoWifi. I could use mobile data, but even this was not very good, often gets stuck to 3g network, though GT Master supports most of the LTE bands used by T-Mobile (except for B71 600Mhz).
I had two long chats with Mint Mobile customer service, no resolution.
I believe it's gonna be even harder to activate it after July 1st, when T-Mobile will shutdown it's 3G network. Mint Mobile didn't make me any problems to buy and activate service, but now constantly bugs me to replace phone for compatible with their network.
I've also tried it with US Mobile (T-Mobile network), Boost Mobile (ATT) and couple others. The same effect.
Save yourself some trouble and buy phone that's on compatibility list: Oneplus, iPhone, Samsung or Motorola.
I bought Galaxy S22 and now use it as my main device in Google FI. GT Master still have active Mint Mobile simcard until 3rd of June, but after that it will be over.
Hi,
Thank you for sharing all of this information. It is sad to see the carriers in the USA do not support this phone. Sadly I will stay away until anyone can confirm a phone of this brand that works with VoLTE (Tmobile).
Once again Thank you.

Set up VoLTE and VoWiFi via QPST and the ( advaced pdc tool PDC ) Root is required. This option works in stock. You need to try several "choose" profiles, one will definitely go
In custom rom, if it doesn't work, just back up the EFS partition (after editing in stock rom) and restore it later in custom rom
I see. Wondering is there is a signed ROM with VolLTE enable out of the box.
Today I tried Google Fi simcard with my Realme GT Master (normal not modified ROM) and it worked!! VoLTE is working and so is VoWiFI (I think). I'm not 100% sure about VoWifi. I have icon of VoWifi during call but I can't make call just on WiFi while on Airplane Mode, I have to turn off Airplane Mode or it doesn't allow me to make a call.
Google Fi was activated with Galaxy S22 few months ago.
I'm not gonna test it for long, because I use Galaxy S22 as my main device now and in few days I'll move to US Mobile/Verizon, but Google Fi is usable. I still can't recommend buying GT Master for US: too much hassle, too many unknowns.

so basically you don't know which network you were on while VoLTE started to work? Google FI uses all three networks and switches them dynamically
As far as I know Google Fi uses two networks: Tmobile and Us Cellular. As I'm in western Massachusetts and US Cellular doesn't have coverage here, I'm pretty sure I got connected to T-Mobile. But I can't confirm it with 100% certainty.
