So I've had the Pixel 6 Pro for a day and I'm broadly pleased with it so far... However, I noticed that I received an incoming call notification on my home screen (Red Decline/Green Accept etc..) which could not be actioned. Neither of the buttons worked, the notification couldn't be swiped away - and only a power off removed it. This has worried me - has anyone else experienced this behaviour?

So this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I left my phone unattended for 15 minutes and came back inside with some missed notifications-- no big deal. As I cleared the notifications by swiping them away the (new notification sound) beep wouldn't stop. I was able to turn the volume down and start a chat with google from the help and support option, but they couldn't help me. I re-booted and it stopped. What would cause this? My battery level was pretty low-- minus 15%. Has this happened to anyone else??
My ideal setting for messenger is no notification sound or vibration, but just a pop-up of the message preview. This is the way I had it for many months until about two weeks ago when my S9 started vibrating with every message I received. I never touched the settings once after getting it the way I wanted it, and have since looked through them many, many times trying to turn off just the vibration. It seems to me the only options are keep the pop-up message preview with the vibration, or get rid of both leaving just the message symbol in the notification bar, with no option for how I've always had it. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
Hi All!
Loving my Pixel 3 XL so far and I realized that sometimes text coming in will be displayed on lock screen and the next day it only shows a text notification. I restarted the phone and it starts to show text again however, it turns back to just text notification icon after a few hours. Is this a software issue that I am experiencing or just me?
Hi there
so i got this strange issue and its bothering me, i have S20+ and activated the Edge lighting + AOD. so when i got new msg the screen shows lights on the edgs which is cool and can see the msg on top. However, if i tried to dismiss it or even swipe it down its not responding. I tried this also on Facebook, my screen lights up with blue but when i press on msg at top to expand it ( swipe it down ) its not working. also dismissing not possible.
am sure i have seen videos where this possible. but why i cant do that? any suggestions?

I've just noticed while in call that the call Timer that's usually in the status bar next to the clock covering up notifications has gone! I've now got a floating button that you can expand as seen in the screen shot, never had this before. I had a notification saying the phone was displaying over the top of apps and allowed me to toggle it off, I did this but the clock timer never reappeared back in the status bar (maybe because I was still in the call)
I prefer it this way, I have seen other post complaining about the call Timer covering up notifications. Google must be listening.
Fyi, I'm in the Beta programme for the phone app.
Anybody else notice this?
Edit: rebooted my phone and made another call the timer is back... I'm confused now...
