I just installed CRDroid onto my OP9pro, and rooted with Magisk. After encountering some trouble installing modules on Magisk, I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it--however, when I opened the APK in my file manager, the "install" button was un-tappable. Not in that it was greyed out, but that tapping the button produced no response whatsoever, as if I hadn't touched it at all. Pressing the "cancel" button worked fine. A problem I'm also having that might be related with this is that I can't seem to toggle the "Display over other apps" permission in any way, for any app. I tried turning it off on some apps, but the toggle did not register at all. I tried going to some apps that had the permission turned off, and toggling them, but got no results there either. The reason I was attempting to toggle these was because I kept receiving an error in Google Play telling me I couldn't install apps because of an app that was drawing over Google Play. Has anyone encountered such issues before? What's the best way to try solving them?

Try enabling this
It's an app that is overlaying over important buttons and toggles in dialog boxes. Try and pinpoint which app it is and disable/uninstall it.
@sumfahg I have same issue on Pixel 5 with fresh CrDroid install, did you find a solution?
Edit: self-answer here

As the title implies, I cannot get the app SecureOTP to run on the phone properly. It gives some message, but it's in Japanese. Unfortunately I need the app in order to play Phantasy Star Online 2. Someone in a review stated they got it working via a setting, but I am unaware of what it is. Anyone got the tech skills to try and wrangle the bug?
Bumping for still an issue. Screenshot added for hopeful help.

I registered because I faced the same problem. It's pretty easy, just go to settings -> ASUS customized settings -> Recent apps key. Now choose the value for Recent apps key as "Tap and hold to show menu". As the name implies it let's you open up a menu when holding down the right capacitive button on the zenfone 2. After this you can revert back to the old settings for this button since SecureOTP does not need you to fiddle around with its menu anymore.
Truth to be told I did not come up with this and had struggled for days and the only clue I got was your post and the review on playstore which you mentioned. I figured zenfone 2 must have its own way to open up menus so I dug around the settings. But yes, SecureOTP has finnicky problems with its menu button which vary between phones and it even happens on emulators like bluestack.
Anyway, enjoy your PSO2 and have fun.
After rooting successfully I have found a weird glitch with the fonts.
This happens only in google apps, like Google Play Movies, Google Assistant and so on, it also happens in the permission warnings, ( like permission to access storage) but not on the whole warning, just the grant or refuse buttons. I have tried messing around to fix it but I cannot find any info about this problem. I have no idea what caused it or how to fix it, but it is very annoying.

Couldn't figure out what was causing it so I just took it as corrupted files and reset the phone. I used Titanium Backup to back up the whole thing and noticed the name of the apps on the list also had the weird characters, so I didn't back those up. After a reset it has been working fine with root, even after multiple Magisk updates.
i had the same problem, check if you have set the language English (XA) or something similar and add instead English US / UK.
I'm using LineageOS on my OnePlus 3T for about a month now and everything was fine until some days ago. I installed LineageOS alongside GApps pico back then.
If I try to view apps in the Playstore, the Playstore crashes. It crashes even if I remove its data and cache. The only way I can use it is to disable and enable it. Then I can view apps without any problem until I install one. After installing an app I can view apps until I hit the install button. Then it's back to its old behaviour and I have to disable and enable it again.
Outlook just crashes when I'm opening it and only uninstalling and reinstalling solves the problem. But after some time it keeps crashing.
I installed yesterday's update to see whether it fixes my problem but it doesn't.
I'm not sure what Finsky is but I think it has something to do with the Playstore and I found those errors in Catlog. I don't know its meaning though. Could somebody help me troubleshoot this issue?

Google Calendar and TianiumBackup now also crash when opening. I will have to restore a backup of OxygenOS but I don't really want to go back to it
I just noticed this... I'm pretty sure this did not previously happen (though maybe it's new since 11.0.7.0?).
I use the CovidSafe app (contract tracing app for Australia). It has a persistent notification that I have made silent/minimized so that it stays out of the way (yet remains visible if I pull down the notification shade).

However, as of yesterday, I noticed that when another notifications are visible, the display of the silent notification is... wrong. I get a white bar where it should say "Silent notifications" and then the notification itself is gone.
The icon for the silent notification remains, it's just this expanded view that is broken.
I don't recall this being an issue until yesterday. I did uninstall Firefox nightly yesterday and it took a very long time and System UI crashed, so maybe that is what caused this?
Has anyone else seen this? Anything I can try to clear/reset to fix it?
I tried clearing cache for System UI and rebooting but that did not help.
I have seen other silent notifications displaying correctly... I'm starting to suspect that the covidsafe app itself is to blame. It had an update 4 days ago.
This is a magisk module that enables 2-Button navigation mode in the gesture Settings menu. Will possibly add reversed back button layout later. For now its just stock 2-button navigation.
Must have root with MagiskManager installed.
To install open MagiskManager, press the puzzle piece and select 'Install from storage' at the top of the screen.
Then, find the location that you saved the 2-ButtonNavigation.zip and select it to start installation.
After reboot go into Setting>System>Gestures and select 2-button navigation from the 3 options.
That's it.

it could be possible for you to install the .apk through package manager without root but you won't be able to uninstall it through settings.
edit:NVM just tried said app not installed. sorry
Has anyone tried this on the Pixel 5?

It should work fine. The app was pulled from OOS10 stock rom and the module just links the app to your devices system overlay folder.
