What kind of a question is this? There is no BEST ROM for diamond. Just try flashing some ROMs and decide which one is best for YOU. We all had to walk this track. Chances are that the best ROM for me is not the best ROM for you. So just try some.
i think there is no best rom
all the rom u can find is good
and u must try the rom to see if it's suit ur style
so i think there is no best rom,because all the rom is good enough
maybe the mod will close this thread soon

There is no best ROM it's personal choice, so flash to find what ROM suites your needs.

I think there is no "best of the best" rom. Each user has a different preferencies, choosing the ROM is very personal. So im afraid you need to try them all by yourself . But for start point i can recommend the CM10, last Nightly for example. Pretty stable, has no critical bugs. And has a good pack of minor additions compared to stock rom. But not overweighted by different mods.

AOSP ICS roms are the fastest ICS roms.

Please look at Savoca's furnace kernel.
Note: You will need to revert your aboot to ZV8 in order to boot to a custom kernel/ROM.

I prefer starting with CM or AOKP first and then going from there.
