Greetings people, I have a Redmagic 6 pro which I connect to a PC monitor with HDMI input.
I bought a Gamesir x2 Bluetooth controller to use it with the cell phone connected to the monitor, however when I connect the Gamesir to the Bluetooth with the cell phone already connected to the screen, the Gamesir buttons get disordered going to the left side of the cell phone and do not stay in position.
I have the same situation with a mini Bluetooth gamer keyboard.
Any advice to solve this?

A few days ago, I received my Samsung OEM MHL adapter enabling me to connect my GNex to my HDTV. Then after much internet research, I decided to go to the next level and ordered an Rii mini I6 bluetooth keyboard from Amazon. I was concerned after shelling out $42.68 and held my breath that it would connect and perform as advertised. Well, the keyboard and integrated mousepad connected almost instantly and performed beyond my expectations. So now I can not only connect my GNex to my tv, but also control it from my recliner and see my phone's screen on my tv and see the fully functional mouse cursor on both the phone and tv, and enter text and all other keyboard commands just as if I were sitting at the keyboard and mouse of a PC. Cooler than dry ice!!!!!!!
Hi !
I'm trying to use my Ipod touch 5g (lightning connector) with my JY unit (running Malaysk ROM) but the unit doesn't recognize my ipod when plugged in the USB. I've tried to use the Ipod app but I can't mange to get it working. I've tried too with a lightning to 30 pin connector with the same result....
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
I don't think the iPod app works. I've never seen anyone say they've used it, and it doesn't work with my iPod, either.
To my knowledge the Ipod function will only work with the Ipod cable from the HU manufacturer. There is a separate header for that specific cable and then a Factory Setting is used to enable Ipod function from that connection only. The app is useless on its own as far as I can tell.
I do not have an ipod cable with mine nor have I tried to make it work.
Hi !, thank you for the info, I bet the best way to listen to my Ipod on the unit will be using an AUX connection.
Happy new year!
Hi everyone. This will partly be a documentation of what I'm doing but also a development thread. I'm sure that this won't be as straightforward as I expect it to be, that's for sure.
So anyway, the basic install will be a custom-modified dash in our 2001 PT Cruiser and the install based around a Tab S2 8.0....so far. The problem I'm likely facing is OTG whilst charging. I've not looked into this specifically for a few weeks so I'm unsure as to how problematic it will or won't be. Anyway.
The Tab will be semi-permanently installed behind the fascia (requiring it to be removed to access the device) and locked into landscape mode. A 12VDC to 5V 3A regulator with an OTG Y-cable (again, up for discussion) wakes the tablet up (an AutoMate feature to "open when charging") whilst providing simultaneous connection to a small USB hub. The hub will be connected to SD/uSD card reader slots fitted to the console, plus an auxiliary USB port or two for charging, Flash drives, etc. A USB audio DAC directs audio from the tablet via the hub to an external amplifier out to the car speakers. Simple.
I'm waiting for components to come in first of all, however I'll do my best to document the work done to the centre console including plastics welding/forming, paint and prep. The electronics side of things should be great as long as we've no big OTG/charging conflict. The other potential issue is....can the tablet run using less power than it is being charged by? It'd be a bummer if the battery slowly drained during use instead of replenishing....
I look forward to your comments, experience and input guys. This should be fun times.
Did you have any luck with this? I'm wanting to do similar with my Galaxy Tab S2 9.7.
I am running something similar but simpler.
A Lenovo Yoga Tab3 tablet running Headunit Reloaded. This turns the tablet into an Android Auto headend.
Connection between phone and tablet via WiFi.
Kept the car's BT and radio.
I use tablet audio only for GPS voice directions. Calls and music go through BT to car's amp.
I've just bought a Dasaita V600 unit and currently have a wifi dongle for OBD2. The wireless network of the OBD2 dongle disappears every time I turn the car off. I have to pull the dongle out and reconnect it for it to work again.
I was contemplating getting the USB version. Does anyone know if these units work with the USB OBD2?
Cheers.
I have a MTCE_KLD_V2.80_1 working with a "ScanTool 425801 OBDLink SX USB" and Torque, for about a week now. So far no problems.
I have a Dasaita 10.2 PX6 Head unit and I was just curious is there a way to connect an xbox or ps4 controller to it to play games? I've tried Bluetooth but it won't connect just phones and wired doesn't do anything as well as far as I can tell. is there a developer option you can access like on an android phone or regulars tablet in order to "Activate it"?
I just purchased and installed a Dasaita 10.2 PX6 in my 4Runner. I was not able to get my PS4, Xbox One, Switch, or iPad bluetooth wireless controllers to work. I think this is because when the head unit tries to connect via Bluetooth it requires a 4 digit pin from the connecting device.
The good news is that I was able to get a wireless controller with a 2.4GHz USB receiver (dongle) to work with it. I downloaded Retroarch and can play games as well as control the head unit home home screen, etc with this setup.
Obviously you will need the USB port in your car connected to the head unit for this to work. This technique also works with my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and wired USB keyboard. I assume it will work with any controller that utilizes a 2.4GHz USB receiver.
