No Video on PX5 Rev 16 Board - Ok on Rev 10 - MTCD Android Head Units General

Anyone know the difference between the PX5 Rev 10 and Rev 16 boards? I have a device with KLD 5.2.8A mainboard that only has functional video (rear or aux cam) when using a PX5 Rev 10 board. If I swap in a rev 16 board, I just get the yellow exclamation mark.
I'm using the latest Klyde MCU version of 3.01_1, if it matters.
Edit: Video problems only occur on Android 8. When flashed with Android 10 ROM, video function returns to normal.

Upgrade RK3188 1GB (Alfa Romeo 159) to 4GB

Hello everyone,
about a year ago I installed an RK3188 car radio in my Alfa Romeo 159.
From day one the performance of the radio was very bad. Especially when I just started the car.
Recently I learned there are upgrades available. Would this work on my device?
Current Radio:
From aliexpress:

From aliexpress:

Thanks!
Hello geertjan88,
I have upgraded last week my alfa 159 android HU (MTCDE KGL MCU firmware 2.47 and Android 5.1.1) to Witson PX5 4Gb + 32Gb Android 6.0.1.
The result is nice! New board much faster.
Attention for radio. On antenna input no phantom supply for antenna amplifier (in PX3 5.1.1. neither).
Have good project!
Hello Geertjan,
Did you already upgrade your alfa 159 HU? If so, did you experience any issues? Or was it more or less plug and play. I have the same unit (1gb android 5.1.1) which is really slow. A new unit with android 8.0 one will cost approx. 300€

Yes I have.
The screws from the px-5 board do not align correctly with the unit. So it was some fiddling to get it fit correctly. There is some tension on the px-5 board but it is working as it should.
Improvements:
Bootup time is shortened drastically
Device is immediately ready to use
Device feels really snappy and fast
Multiple apps running at the same time, no issue at all
Steering wheel buttons now work!! (didn't work before)
Problems:
WiFi does not always auto connect, have to go into settings and connect from there.
All and all, best 100 dollar i've spend in years.
Thanks (bedankt ) !

Is there a upgrade board for mtcb / mtcc Radios?

Anyone knowing if there is a upgrade board for MTCC / MTCB Units?
For the MTCD Units there is the 4g / 32 Gb PX 5 Upgrade board.
So i would like to know if anyone knows if there is such an upgrade board for other Radios? ( My friend is running MTCC-KLD6 )
Thank you
Doubt it.
No.

Advice Please

I installed an Android head unit in my wife's VW some 3 or 4 years ago.
Most features work just fine but there are three problems.
The RDS AF (auto follow) does not work even though box is checked. So as we drive out of the area of one transmitter in a network the radio does not automatically retune.
There is a small battery drain when the keys are removed from the car so after a 2 or 3 week holiday the battery is flat.
The boot time is very slow
Can these problems be solved with an update?
Thanks
diacong

CpuZ is showing my unit as RK3066 AND RK3188 ... which one is the one i have??

As title says, Cpuz under "device" tells me my unit is Rk3188; under "soc" tells me it's a 3066..
I wish to update my rom, but I'm not sure anymore which version to choose !
Yet it's a quad core, so it shoud be a 3188.. Yet I wonder why the cpuz showing a 3066 !
Can someone help me on this?

Did you get any further info since?
I've just installed my new "PX6" unit which should use a hexacore RK3399 but CPU-Z is reporting it as RK3066, indeed with 6 cores. You probably know already that the RK3066 is only dual core.
Device model is rk3399 but I'm guessing the manufacturer can put anything there.
Edit: I've seen on another forum that they may be using the older RK3066 PCB so it's likely that's it's reporting wrongly because of that.
