[Q] Barcode Scanners?

I saw an advert last night for shop savvy. It was late and I wasnt sober... but the basic idea seemed to be that you used your phones camera as a scanner - scanned a barcode, and the software searched for the cheapest highstreet and/or internet prices.
Assuming I got the jist of the advert. This is surely going to be the next mobile craze?
I did a search in the blackstone forums but there are only a few hits returned for "barcode" - I've downloaded and installed "Quickmark" which is good fun. But in all honesty there arent that many 2d barcodes around.
Is there no barcode search software available at all for the HD?

Just downloaded it and given it a try. It definately works. That said personally I think the way the camera is implimented in Quickmark works better - not having to actually take a picture of the code. Plus with the terrible delay on the shutter speed it can make grabbing a barcode quite difficult in barcorama.
Dont get me wrong, it's still a usefull bit of software. Thanks again.

Got your download but can't search the web with my barcode. Looks like to need to goto Settings:Redirect to point it to Google products but I get this popup:

This feature is available for the Advanced Edition only.
Does it have to be a paid registration before you can use that feature ?

[Q] youtube Downloaders disappearing off market?

Anyone know of any working youtube downloaders? Seems the ones I have used in the past are all pulled from the market (Freedi was best but they went all Chinese or something ....Youtube Ripper is gone also..along with another one I used whos name escapes me atm)
Are there being deemed warez also and google is facing some legal issues with having them, or am I just blind?
If they are ok to post, could someone please shoot me an apk or a link somewhere to an actual working program?

First off, I need that Porntube downloader please!
Secondly, all the Youtube downloaders are disappearing because Youtube wants you to come to THEIR site to see the videos, not download them and save them. Youtube makes money off advertising when you visit and click stuff, they don't make anything if you download the videos.
That said, I like Jet VD myself. It lets you pick the quality etc and works VERY well. Unfortunately, it was just removed from the market the other day. I'll post the .apk when I get home though, it's free anyway.
That or try googling it.

It would be great if you would post it, as I can't seem to find it anywhere.

JetVD is about the best I've seen.

Freedi is the best, I use it myself. It appears to be in Chinese, lol. But after you download it you can change the language and what country your in. Hope this helps.

Media share questions

Hey guys first time posting in the Note II forum! I am so excited to have this phone and appreciate all the work you developers have and will be putting into this phone to make it so much better!
That being I am in need of some assistance from some of you gurus....
My girlfriend and I both have the note II, and my parents have the S3.
I have a 2TB hard drive full of music, and movies. I set up allshare on my phone and I can see it all but I also can see everything else on my computer such as everything in my c: and webpage images for all the websites I build and videos and music for banners and such I make and lastly my personal porn jk but not really.
So I set up allshare and.................. I have like 3000 images from all my templates and banners, etc.
So I am looking for assistance with allshare for not allowing the c: to be shown or how to enable or disable certain folders to show on the phones via allshare. If allshare cant do this or you guys maybe have a better solution let me know I tried skifta and it doesnt work because my laptop wont let me leave the freaking homegroup and I have tried everything on the internet to get out of the homegroup (different problem, different forum) I tried serviio but cannot get serviigo on the phone to see serviio because I cannot open my port 23424 for some reason in which I am trying to contact Bob from India to help me (I wish they would use there real names) but they are closed until Monday.
So any apps or recommendations would be great! I wish I could download an app on my comp. and phone and add certain folders to share to the phone and BAM! it all works perfect!
Willing to donate some BEER/GAS money for help guys!

just change the share permissions on your computer.
you should be able to change it to unshared or shared with read only access, read/write, etc. just right click on the folder and go to where it says share.

Long screenshot application

I'm looking for an application that can make you take long screenshots like on the Note phones, I've found many on the playstore like stitch and share https://goo.gl/vHgLAL but none seem to actually work, I don't know if that's related to Android Oreo or they are just rubbish. Has anyone tried an app that actually works?

I am looking for a similar solution for my Pixel XL. Stitch & Share sucks! Doesn't work!

Watch face editor on android soon?

I really like my mi band 4, bought it from xiaomi official shop in Budapest for equivalent of 35$ and I have found the price phenomenal for the features.
I liked the way we can change watche faces but it will be awesome if xiaomi or any dev can release an editor on android so we can customise on the go by making our own designs.
There is a tool on PC but it's not easy to use.
As this band is relatively new I still hope such easy editors will come on android

Technically it's probably possible, but I doubt that anyone will bother. It's just too cumbersome to create a WF on a phone. For a simple custom watch face (different background picture) you can already use Mi Fit or Notify & Fitness. For anything more complicated just boot up your PC and do the magic there.

I did it but on firefox probably some extension, I have a lot of them, was blocking it.
