Do you know if I need to be in an specific MIUI version in order to make it work without issues?

Well, I flashed the latest cn build via MiFlash (alioth_images_V12.5.6.0.RKHCNXM_cn), then booted into vasishath TWRP and then flashed the a12 beta build, reboot and there you go. =)

Its working flawlesly without issues, but there are literally 0 "graphic" changes, it looks exactly the same as any miui a11 build.

Just use this tool to remove everything you don't want to have installed: https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools
Works like a charm, I even use it over .eu builds.

Just open the file flash_all.bat inside your firmware folder, and delete the following lines:
Code:
::check anti_version
if exist %~dp0images\anti_version.txt (for /f "delims==" %%a in (%~dp0images\anti_version.txt) do (set CURRENT_ANTI_VER=%%a))
if [%CURRENT_ANTI_VER%] EQU [] set CURRENT_ANTI_VER=0
for /f "tokens=2 delims=: " %%i in ('fastboot %* getvar anti 2^>^&1 ^| findstr /r /c:"anti:"') do (set version=%%i)
if [%version%] EQU [] set version=0
set anticheck="antirollback check pass"
if %version% GTR %CURRENT_ANTI_VER% set anticheck="Current device antirollback version is greater than this pakcage"
echo %anticheck% | findstr /r /c:"pass" || @echo "Antirollback check error" && exit /B 1
Save the file and try again.
Remember to use the latest version of MiFlash (https://xiaomiflashtool.com/) and always place the firmware folder directly on C:\ in your computer.
Also, remember to select the "clean all" option at the bottom right corner in MiFlash, if you select the "clean all and lock", probably you'll brick your device if you keep tampering it after that.

Yes it worked as it should, just give it the time to finish and wait for its confirmation. Reflashed twrp and all is ok.

[HOW TO] [ROOT] [7.1.2 - 8.1.X] Get ctsProfile: true on Magisk's SafetyNet Test

Hey there! I was looking around for some help trying to fix this "error" on our vince and finally, i believe, i found the solution for it :good:
Requirements:
Unlocked bootloader
Magisk on it's latest version
MagiskHide Props Config magisk module installed and enabled, you could find it on Download section on magisk or in this link.
A terminal emulator of your choice.
Steps:
Once you have completed the requirements then you are able to move forward
Open the terminal emulator you chose before.
Write on it props and press enter.
Grant root access.
Type 1 (Edit device fingerprint) and press enter, IT WON'T BRAKE YOUR FINGERPRINT SENSOR.
Type f (Pick a certified fingerprint) and press enter.
Type down 16 (Xiaomi) and press enter.
Then choose 23 (Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus 7.1.2) NO MATTER THE ANDROID VERSION. UPDATED
Type y and press enter.
And finally reboot your phone by typing y and pressing enter.
After booting up you should be able to well-pass the SafetyNet test on Magisk Manager.
Also clear i am on, in my opinion, the best 8.1 rom for vince Liquid Remix 1.9.4.
This is my first post and i wait that i can really help you with this error.

Also worked for me on EVERY Android 9.0 ROM available for our device.

in case something went wrong with FP (after did this mod), is it possible to revert back to prev. FP?
It's ok for miui 8.1 build 8.8.30, but be carefull, at the point 7 you have to select 21 and no 22 (weyred) because Redmi 5 plus is "vince".... 21 is for 7.1.2 but work even for 8.1.

Install busybox.
Thanks for this! Passing the checks now.
Running Pixel Experience 2018-12-31 Build, and had some slight differences.
Step 6. Xiaomi was number 17, not 12.
Step 7. (Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus 7.1.2) was option 25.
So just have to make sure you select the correct device.

Super slow GPS on mi Max 3

Hi guys,
I have the mi Max 3 unlocked, with TWRP and rooted.
I have been running it with RevOS and now with GSI Havoc...
But there seems to be a real problem with the GPS ! It's super slow...
A fix takes about 30 seconds sometimes even more (in the same location, the Honor Note 10 fixes in 3/4 seconds).
And while I traval => "GPS connection lost" happens quite often and it also happens that I get "Searching for network".
Is there a "radio.img" or something like that that I may have to flash to improve things ?
Do you guys have the same when using GPS (like Waze) ?
Or is my device defective ? Should I try to reflash the global ROM for this ?
Thanks for your answers.
I use Xiaomi.EU Rom 8.11.15 (last Oreo updated), used Waze first time this morning and locked in incredibly fast.
Maybe down to the OS you are on?

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Maybe the OS. But now I am using Havoc OS Pie and I have the same problem Super slow fix : like 30 seconds and up to 1 or 2 minutes.
Will try to reinstall original MIUI stock but I fear to get a device with ARB protection (which I would like to avoid).

What version are you on?
If you are MIUI 10, don't go below MIUI 10.
If you are on MIUI 9, like I was out of the box, 9.6.12, you cannot go down. anything above 9.6.8 has ARB really.
I got soft locked and I had to use MiFlash to restore Global ROM.
...or you just clean up the miui from all the ARB related sh*t before flashing it...
Hi guys,
Thanks for your answers...
Definitely ROM related.
I restored stock MIUI 9.8.6.0 (last official with no ARB) and Xiaomi.eu 8/8/9 (latest non official with no ARB) and with those, I got a GPS fix within seconds...
And that quick fix is reproductible...
So : there goes RevOS, which is a pity : it was superb and with lot of added customizations abilities...
Regards.

Hi,
Thanks for the link.
But I must say that I am a little anxious about that
First : it is unclear if I have to LEAVE the listed files in the FW-update folder or if I have to take ERASE those ;
Second : is it confirmed that if I do that, I won't have ARB on my device ? Because it seems that the author is just "speculating" about this and asks for confirmation...
So if you could provide a little more details, I'd be a taker
Regards.
Those are the files you should flash. All others not listed you delete along with the lines in updater-script/flash-all.bat. Haven't tested it myself b/c I don't care about MIUI and I only flash boot, system and vendor to test my stuff I work on. But later on I will have to test it b/c I will need vendor and firmware for my next project. So although not tested these files should be ARB safe, the rest of them removed are bootloader related where ARB resides. But with anything Xiaomi I can't be 100% sure until test it personally. What I can asure you is no ARB if you flash boot, system and vendor only...

[MOD][ROOT] Overclock your screen to 66HZ-69HZ in MIUIQ

Use it at your own risk! (Don't flash it on any P ROMs)The dtbo.img is extracted from the Chinese version of miui 8.13,so you better use version 8.13,Some people use 69hz not smooth,66hz is the best option。(More than 69hz on Android Q is very slow)

66hz, thank you. Works well on miui10 9.8.15 Q.
69 also works smoothly. Will 81/90 be supported?
Xiaomi.eu 9.8.15 tried all all laggy or buggy :/
Using 69hz on miui 9.8.15 Q, seems working well
Is there a way to make this work on the Mi9T Pro?
So its not possible to get 75hz on Q like on P
Works great 66HZ
Only the fp doesn't work
Idk why

Hei man, I have the Global 9t pro as well did you manage to install the mod ? im on miui 11 and would like to increase the refresh rate.
I've read that some people broke their displays with screen overclock mods. Don't use them for a few refresh rates over stock, not worth a broken screen

You cannot physically damage a modern display with just overclocking the refresh rate.
I flashed the 72 and 69 dbto on the latest Xiaomi.eu stable (12.0.3.0) but nothing changes. The refresh rate stays at 60. Am I doing something wrong? I just flashed the corresponding dbto to the dbto partition with the latest TWRP.

Hi, anyone found a way to do this? (without installing indonesian rom).
I found some zip files used for Russian ROMS that add the miui default apps through TWRP, maybe there are similar ones for the Global ROMs?
It's weird why Xiaomi do it differently for India and Indonesia, so confusing. Does unlocking bootloader and changing to a different official ROM void the phone warranty?

SOLUTION TO ANTIROLLBACK ERROR:
Simply rename the fastboot rom because it's too long name path.
Detailed process:
after downloading the fastboot rom named begonia_id_global_images_V10.4.2.0.PGGIDXM_20190926.0000.00_9.0_global.tgz, I extracted the file and then renamed the file extracted (folder) in a shorter way and putted on the desktop
Using miflash 2017.4.25.0 this time I selected the rom in the desktop with a shorter name and... IT DID SUCCESS INSTALLATION... thank you guys, I found guide here
GUIDE 4 NOOBS (like me) to restore MIUI DIALER, SMS & Contact App
(and therefore to restore call recording and a normal usable phone, simple answering process etc...)
device: REDMI NOTE 8 PRO
FIRST prepare your device:
1) register your phone to xiaomi cloud server (www.i.mi.com or from phone settings, mi account)
2) log in from your phone into xiaomi cloud and make a backup of... your phone
3) open settings, about phone, keep tapping on MIUI Version to enable developer option
4) open settings, additional settings, developer option: here you have to enable usb debug, unlock
(more to edit... I will keep working tomorrow..sorry for now)
So I'm not sure if there are any updates on how to get the MIUI dialer (which includes call recording) in the Redmi Note 8 (ginkgo).
I found this thread, which however is for the pro version, and points to a telegram group to download a magisk module.
I downloaded and installed the module.
SMS and Contacts MIUI apps work.
However when I tap the Dialer app and try to call someone, it shows the google dialer screen and there's no option for recording. Same for incoming calls.
Then I went to Apps > Manage Apps and tapped the 3 dots the top right corner, then went to "Dial". There are two apps there, one "Phone (system)" with the google icon which is selected, and another one "Contacts and dialer". When I tap the other one, the screen goes black for a few seconds and the launcher restarts. However the google dialer app remains as default.
Any ideas for this?

Nah bro, eu.multi 12.5 is flashed first followed by corvus. The problem as it turned out is that both the files/variants, downloaded from corvus telegram channel, are either incomplete or corrupt.
Where can I get xiaomi.eu 12.5 , I'd like to try this rom.
which twrp build is stable for flashing this ROM?
I am gonna ask a very noob question here.
Which folder should I download from in this link https://osdn.net/projects/corvusos/storage?
I do not see any folder named "juice" or "poco m3" or "citrus" here.

Nah bro not in the blame game business. Downloaded alpha centauri and paradox from pling. Non installed. Tried to extract both zip files got error after about 600 mb extraction. Downloaded paradox from mirror. Extracted zip file successfully. Installed like a charm.m
All is well that ends well.
Is this Safetynet PASS without Magisk?
Going to try this rom hope will give feedback soon.
I need a guide. I would like to contribute in your project. Can you help me with building the rom from sources in an windows machine?
May I suggest including this feature below in order to avoid much work for the power button.
I installed this ROM above and tried also the other one but failed to do so. I came up to keep the POCO M3_21.3.17 as used for porting.
