Hello,
Is there any compatible pen available?
Actually no official pen avialable in Germany so I'm looking for spare.
I tested HP pen 1MR94 but it's not working.

I believe it isn't supported. Xiaomi Pad 5 works only with original Xiaomi Smart Pen and it doesn't recognize other bluetooth pens.

@sangin80 wrote and confirmed that the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 works with the Xiaomi Pad 5.
So I think (I hope) he tried it:

I also tried swapping protocols as indicated in the Lenovo Tab P11 user manual: "If your pen is not responsive, please try switching pen protocols. Hold both buttons consecutively for 25 seconds to switch between pen protocols (WGP & AES).".
Nothing helps.
We must wait for clarification from @sangin80.

I'm sorry I didn't provide you with accurate information.
You can first recognize MiPad 5 pen and then use it.

Now it's clear why I didn't see it in the Bluetooth device list.
So you must FIRST pair a Xiaomi Smart Pen, and only AFTER should it recognize the Lenovo Precision Pen 2, right?
Will it work up to how long? Factory Reset/Xiaomi Smart Pen unpair or even less?

First, you have to pair the Xiaomi pencil to pair the Lenovo pen.

Hi sangin80 , Does Lenovo precision pen 2 will work without pairing with mi pad 5 and does Lenovo precision pen 2 support palm rejection (without pairing) if not. Does it support plam rejection after pairing
im sorry this is too late but if you still have the lenovo pen can you try rooting and installing a lsposed module named maxmipad it can disable the bluetooth authentication so in theory lenovo pen should work after that

So its like all universal capacitive pen. It doesn't have palm rejection unless you use a glove or you're getting used to writing while hovering your palm

I bought this for my touchpad. It's okay. Not the greatest, but for $10 (now $15), who's complaining?
How do you think this would work with the nexus 7? Are the keys the size of a normal keyboard like the macbook pro?

As long as you can pair with a bluetooth device it will work. It's the normal size of a keyboard. But, also heavy and needs an external power supply.
Does the Huawei Watch use some other form of touchscreen technology? I just tried to use my capacitive stylus from my nvidia shield tablet on my huawei watch and it doesn't work. The stylus works fine on my shield tablet and nexus 5 phone. Its not something I'm worried about, I don't need to use a stylus with the watch, I'm just curious why it doesn't work.
I just tried a stylus on mine and it worked fine. It was a free one that you get at like a bank or car dealership.

Oh OK. Thanks! Must just be something strange with the shield tablet stylus. I just tried a friends cheapo stylus as well and it worked too.
Tried to pair my Honor8Pro to my Jabra Evolve 65 headphone earlier today but didn't work.
Tapped on the piece and somehow didn't pair. I ended up pairing it the conventional way - BT pair mode on headset and searched for it from phone.
Very sure the headset is fine coz I could pair with it from my Note2.
Just wondering if anyone tried it and worked? Or is the NFC on the Honor8Pro just for "wallets"?

managed to try after a few tries... like close to 10. had to move around a bit.
just FYI... the NFC chip is probably near the fingerprint sensor. then again, should not be surprising since the rest of the phone is metal.

Which is great, i really don't want to charge my pen if i were to get this. That's what's been so fantastic about the note line all these years. Active pen, awesome Palm rejection, no batteries.
So is it powered? I always thought the sPen in the note was charged up when you put it inside.

Thanks for the info. I think I was giving Samsung credit for some sort of inductive charging.
Actually was hoping it was the new one like in the Note 9, but that's you know giving Samsung too much credit to put something "new" in their tablet line.

Actually the S-Pen is powered by the electromagnetic grid under the display of the SGTS4. There is a very small electromagnetic device in the pen, which picks up power from the grid underneath the glass.
had to correct this years later:
and inductive stylus in not "powered" at all. passivly interact with the magnetic field of the device youre using it on
a bluetooth-stylus with a battery does not requere charging for regular functioning but for the bluetooth functionality like making photos. your regular stylus-activitys are not effected in any way. dont want to chard: dont use the bluetooth function so you dont need it. the stylus itself is passive
Hi guys, I have a Pad5 with the original pen, when I use the tablet with the magnetic cover folded on the back (with the magnet that touch the right back spot near the pen charger zone), the pen stop working, the buttons on it still work (the pen remains connected to bluetooth) but the tablet doesn't take any input. Is this a common problem?
I had Pad 5 but didn't have any similar issues. yet. I think you should check the guide
