Hello, I just bought Poco f3 yesterday. Already updated at miui 12.5.4.
Sadly when im using spotify to play music or the music mi app. There is no next back stop button shown in the Control Center/Notifications, even though all notifs for Spotify are all on.

Is the "Permanent notifications" permission enabled for Spotify? You can also try enabling other permissions. ^^

Hi! Has this problem been solved? If yes, what is the solution? I bought a used Poco f3, updated to Miui 12.5.6 and ran into the same problem - no notification buttons for Spotify. Is this a common occurrence or a bug in the latest firmware? I'm very frustrated because I bought this phone specifically to create a secondary Spotify account and track my audience activity using https://www.mymusicviral.com to promote services on the go.
This is a request more than a year old. And the OP was on miui 12.5. Now poco f3 runs miui 13 and ALL versions have player's commands in notification center.
Said that, you can stay in your redmi note 9 forum and make useless comments there.

Well, it's up to you.
Nobody would really stop you from choosing to own a much weaker phone
some miui version back then has bug that doesnt show spotify on control center, try other version of miui, or check the changelog of the rom version to make sure.

The screen will just light up if you have ambient notifications turned on , but nothing in the notifications bar, no sound, no vibration, NADA. You have to open your apps to see anything. I guess they only fixed MMS and GMAIL notifications not showing up on the lock screen and didn't care about anything else. "OK GOOGLE" is STILL not able to activate, and SIM CARD ACTIVATION STILL has to be manually muted because it never activates -nor needs to. Android AUTO does work with full screen now, however-when you play audio -even though it plays from the Stereo Head Unit, the phone internally thinks it's from the speaker instead of the USB-C device.
I realize this is 'Developer' Beta, however -we need the basics fixed before adding anything extra or fixing cosmetic issues. I'm beginning to think our phone will be obsoleted before we get a functioning ROM with the BASIC NECESSITIES for a PHONE.

Yes I agreed with you, they are not fixing the crucial bugs for daily drivers. And yet they are adding more bugs than ever. You can read my review on this update here. Pretty disappointing.

I fixed the Allo by unregistering my phone number and then readding this. However this will delete all your conversation history...
Edit: aaand it stopped again, back to stable it is.

The fact is that beta-tester in beta-team are really noobs. And i dont say it to flame but because i've read some post they made like this:

I agree with you brother, some beta tester looks really dumb and didn't suit to be one. I've also tried helping Mi 8 community by posting reviews, reporting bugs over MIUI forum and already applied to be beta tester but till now no reply from them.

i have noticed a lot of customers having problem with max 3 push notification with no actions.
i know here in Egypt 5 bought it and have same and nearly everyday you can find more max3 used for sell after only few weeks of buying.
if anyone can assist in solving or to contact ..
i have tried everything available online
installing global beta and stable
disabling battery optimize
allow all permissions to apk like whatsapp/viber /mymail
Auto start
lock apks
nothing worked
if any can help.

Did you enable notifications and badges? You can set the priority there. Just click on the app settings and select notifications. I have no issues.

yes i did all of that still sometimes i get sound and sometimes not..
i checked every single item and enabled anything related to notifications
even network signal is full and whenever i try to call or i get call it gives out of coverage
i m sure its software bug ...
i even changed region to so many but nothing
i wiped data after each install of rom
the only doubt i have is
in app settings in installed app
there is system notifications
no sound
and i press it i found all notifications are on
That's the problem with Chinese ROMs
I have a global version and np problems whatsoever.
Had the same problem with the Huawei honor note 8 Chinese.
Partial fix was to add widgets for all the apps that you can on the home page, or open each one up and keep them running in the background without closing them.

Thanks ..that already what i m doing now so i get the notification sometimes by sound or only by wake up the screen.
if i cancel wake up screen for notification.. i cant know unless when i unlock the screen...
that is only in whatsapp viber and email apk ( tried three )...
hope an update fixes this...

I would just install Xiaomi.eu rom. No one I know on xiaomi.eu roms are having your sound problems.

Is your bootloader unlocked? You will need to unlock it since it's a custom rom.

Yes thats what i have notifications come with no sound and only wake up screen light then second one with sound but i installed the global beta and its better than global stable so far with last update.
Basically what I had to do was manually turn on all notification sounds and pop ups. Some apps simply cannot be turned on like Google messages.

I've tried the rom and experienced stutters and crashes, but some people have no problem with the rom whatsoever. What I'm trying to say is every experience will not be the same and you should see for yourself, if it doesn't work out then just restore from a backup. Also, music recognition if I'm not mistaken is where the phone listens to music and tells what song it is, right? That's not rom specific but it is a thing the Google assistant can do or many apps. If you have a Google search bar on your home screen just type "what's this song" and itl start listening.

what i meant by music recognition is the feature that pixel devices has, which identifies the song that is playing in the background automatically (in AOD).
but i guess that feature is not there in the Treskmod according to your ansswer.
it's an amazing rom but I don't think it has music recognition may be latest builds have it

Msms next update might have it but I don't recommend using this features as it gonna drain battery heavily. Havoc might have it also not sure tho. Our soc doesnt support offline always on voice thing. The OnePlus 6 above does I believe .

Guys be aware that people on reddit have reported this updated changed the back gesture range to full length on the sides, meaning they work as back gesture even at the top of the screen, very annoying to people who want to preserve the top 1/3 for app menus
Yep, the navigation gesture goes all the way up as others have mentioned. However, I noticed that lawnchair now works properly with gesture navigation so it's a worthy trade-off for now imo until they fix it.
Everything feels very snappy.
And what about OP gestures? Still nowhere to be found?

For me when I would go to long press swipe up gesture for recents, it would also flip the app drawer up. It didn't really integrate with the home launcher like it did with the OOS launcher. I tried multiple versions, beta, non beta etc.
If I remember correctly there was issues on pixel with third party launchers on gestures when they first came out as well.

In other words, my screen shutdown after 15sec and it's fine but I definitely don't want this feature when I use an app in fullscreen like YouTube, games, etc. Is there a way to do this ?
