Hi guys!
I need your help
I just got my Pixel 3a XL, It's refurbished and fully unlocked. I wanted to install custom ROM on it right away but I stuck at the very beginning on this OEM greyed out. I did factory reset and connected it to WiFi but it didn't help. What else can I do to solve it?
And unfortunately I don't savvy enough technically for now so if you could explain me what to do like for a dummy I'd be appreciated 🙇
When OEM Unlock option is present but greyed then phone's bootloader obviously already got unlocked: OEM Unlock can only get applied once to a phone.
Simply check whether you can enter phone's bootloader.
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot fastboot
fastboot getvar all
pause
fastboot reboot

I unlocked my bootloader without toggling Enable OEM unlock in the developer options. Now my devices shows unlocked in bootloader but fastboot doesn't recognises it After unlocking everything got erased and now the toggle button in developer options is disabled! What to do? Can't even install recovery without fastboot. :'( Now after Is there anyway get fastboot working again so that I can go to stock and do the process once again? I just want my fastboot to work as it used to Reply ASAP. Thank you in advance

It's disabled, but turned on right? That's normal behavior for the OEM Unlock menu setting on Nougat. Enable USB debugging then try using fastboot.

That's most like a driver\cable issue. You can't unlock the bootloader without toggling OEM unlocking. Actually it seems there is a posibility found by Bitdomo but for security reasons he didn't shared it.
You're safe if you're unable to change the OEM Unlocking status in Developer Options because that's how it behaves. That's totally fine.
Make sure your download the Factory Image from the Factory Images Website and execute the flash.bat file when you're in fastboot mode.
Let the processes complete and your device will return to 100% stock. Cheers!
I'm sure my cable works. Because it worked first time when I unlocked it(without toggling the oem unlock option) with same cable and laptop. And I'm also sure that there is no driver issue because my device manager shows my device when I connect it in fastboot mode. But "fastboot devices" gives me nothing. I'm tensed and using my phone on stock android without updating any ota updates. I don't know what to do and I'm totally freaking out.
After your phone is in fastboot mode and connected to the computer, try going into control panel - device and printers - right click on your nexus 5x - properties - hardware - properties - change settings - driver - update driver - select manually - select from existing drivers. Now try the drivers one by one and see which one works

Yes, there should be. You need to enter fastboot mode on the phone - i.e you need to get into the bootloader screen. The bootloader screen (usually called fastboot mode) will tell you if the bootloader and FRP are locked or unlocked - If it is locked, you should see "PHONE Locked" and "FRP Lock" in green, otherwise it should say "PHONE Unlocked" and "FRP Unlock" in red if the phone has been properly unlocked.
You can enter fastboot mode by either using ADB ("adb reboot bootloader", first make sure to enable developer options first as detailed in the Rooting guide, and then enabled USB debugging), or by first shutting down the phone and then powering it up while holding down the VOLDN (Volume Down) key. Of the two methods, I'd recommend the ADB method because the hardware keys method is usually hit-or-miss for me - sometimes it takes me to the bootloader, sometimes it boots normally into the ROM.
If you're on Windows and need the ADB and fastboot binaries, you can install the "15-second ADB installer" found in this thread.
Thanks, that worked, took me a while to figure everything out...
and it appears that my device is unlocked...
Hello,
long story short: I have no OS installed on my LG G4 (H815) and get the "This device is not trusted and will not boot" screen when trying to boot normally. I have Android N bootloader. I can get to fastboot and download mode, but:
I cannot flash anything through fastboot as I don't have OEM enabled and I cannot enable it since I have no Android on the phone
LG UP stops at 23% (or 11%) of uploading full, new OS when the phone is in the Download Mode. The device is connected to a proper port reported as COM3.
LG Flash Tool doesn't work at all, maybe I'm using it wrong way?
"fastboot devices" reports the device connected correctly
"fastboot getvar unlocked" gives me a simple "no". I had the bootloader unlocked before, I have no idea what happened, I only did a factory reset from that time (and that caused the loss of system, too...)
Is there anything I can do to unbrick this phone? I couldn't find anything to match my problem so I'm writing here. If anything is unclear or you need more info just ask, please.
EDIT: Found my solution in this post. Thread can be closed, I hope that this solution will work for everyone.
My OnePlus 7T is unlocked already. "This mobile device is permanently unlocked and can be used with any carrier!"
But as instructed to go to fastboot mode and get the unlock code, there is no unlock code in that screen, whether I enter it via Power + Vol Up or adb from computer.
Someone please help, any other way to get that unlock code from my phone?

Bro, OnePlus asks for the Unlock Code before they can issue a Unlock Token.
At least, that's how they do it now, unsure about what happens previously.
https://www.oneplus.com/unlock_token
Edit: Ignore the attachment, it doesn't capture the lower Unlock Code part.

Connect your phone to your computer and open up a command window and type:
fastboot.exe oem get_unlock_code
I don't remember if it has to be in fastboot or just plugged in. But plug your phone in, type the command and see if it works. If not, maybe you have to be in fastboot. But when it it works, it will output some info and you will see a long sequence of numbers and letters in the command window. I remember it was two lines of stuff. That's what you need to copy and put into the OnePlus site.

Your 7T is missing necessary usb driver (I faced the similar problem and then solved it). Google fastboot driver windows 10 7t and install the driver. I followed the following guide "https://www.androidusbdrivers.com/oneplus-7t-usb-drivers/". Hopefully your phone will be recognized in fastboot now.
hello.
Trying to run bootloader on htc 10.
First of all I enabled developer mode in settings app and turned on USB Debugging but I can't turn on oem unlock.
What should I do?
Bootloader is already unlocked.
If you want to lock, then log on to https://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/ select your phone and go to the following pages. Maybe there is information about re-locking there.
Probably it is the fastboot oem lock command
