Does anyone know how to fix this problem. is their a way to boot to recovery mode from the main os

Yep, volume up is for recovery
either way i cant get to download or recover mode useing the buttons i can get to download mode with my usb jig or boot in to it using Samsung GS3 ToolKit. Is their a way to boot into recovery mode
You can download quickboot from the market.
Thanks that works but i wonder why i cant boot using the button combo its just strange all the buttons are working. but i can get into recover mde now so that is good
That is strange, I say use Odin and go completely stock, no root, and see if it still acts the same. If so then it might be hardware related.
Help!! I'm afraid I've bricked my MiA2 Lite .. I unlocked the bootloader to install the GCAM then I used the "all in one" tool to lock the bootloader again, the phone has turned off and does not turn on again .. just flashes in which I see a white screen with the writing Android P (or so it seems, it's very fast) .. what can I do?

Try to enter fastboot again by pressing volume - and power button, then from your computer use fastboot to unlock again the OEM with the command fastboot oem unlock and reflash the stock image. If you aren't able to unlock the OEM try to enter revovery mode but if that also fails, you will have to dissasemble partially your phone to enter edl mode and reflash the stock image, for that process you will have to use MiFlash tool on its latest version.
Today while i was using odin to flash an update connection is stopped and update got stuck in the middle.
Restarted pc and phone, i tried to flash again firmware with odin even if phone was stuck on "use emergency procedure with smart switch ecc..." . Now phone bootted up but download mode is missing, i can only load recovery mode but if i try to reboot to bootloader it remains stuck with a red writing "entering fastboot mode" but it remains stuck! Is there a way to flash again entire firmware in recovery mode?
Thank you!
Just load latest firmware bl, ap, cp, and home csc to reflash it again

I have a similar problem. I wanted to flash latest s20u fw with Odin as usual, but when i tried to go to bootloader i saw the same screen ("entering fastboot mode..."). The last time i flashed the phone it was from emergency mode cause of a faulty cable.
Edit: I was able to flash the fw entering Odin mode (turn off phone, push both vol buttons and plug in cable connected to PC). Still facing that screen if i try to enter bootloader mode. At least there's a way to flash.
I have the same problem, my
samsung galaxy a11 does not enter bootloader mode when I try to enter bootloader mode it enters fastboot mode. Any way to enter Bootloader Mode it enters Fastboot Mode. The cause of this was that I didn't unlock the Bootloader when flashing a magisk root file
reboot botloader
when I give "adb reboot bootloader" my phone goes into fastboot mode
I just got stuck in a bootloop so i had to reset via msm tool. I have the T-Mobile version.
I tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...conversion-to-rooted-global-firmware.4019495/
But somehow got into a bootloop and i also couldnt turn my wifi on.
This means you had trouble entering fastbootD so some partitions did not flash. Just reenter bootloader mode using vol+ and power to shut off phone forcefully. Then hold vol-- and power to enter bootloader mode. Then retry flash-all again and it should enter FastbootD this time (looks like stock recovery with Chinese and English writings)

Take a start by long-pressing the Power key to switch off the phone.
Next, press the Volume Up and Power button together.
Release the keys when you see the Main Menu of Recovery mode.
Use Volume buttons to navigate up and down while Power key to confirm your selection
Wipe data(All your data will be erased)

Download Mi Pc suite
https://c.mi.com/thread-1920713-1-1.html
Try to restore(With exactly the same ROM version currently on the phone).
or update.

Flash the phone in EDL mode(You need to find someone who has permission to flash in EDL mode with Miflash.)
If it's a hardware problem, everything listed above is useless.
The first two options haven't worked out.
And I don't know anyone who has the permission to flash in EDL mode.
