Question T-mobile Fold 3 Pre-order Backorder - Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3

Has anyone who pre ordered through T-Mobile with the backorder gotten their phone shipped or received shipping info yet?
I pre ordered kind of late on August 24th, and got notified that it would be backordered with a delivery date of 9/16-10/7, but I'm worried that the shipping estimate may actually end up being in October.

I am on T-Mobile as well, but I ordered through Samsung direct and mine was supposed to be here on 09/14, but it slipped to 09/21 and it looks like it is going to slip again as it has not shipped yet.
I wonder if buying the Unlocked one would have been faster?

Yeah I thought about going the unlocked route as well, but after seeing the issues with activation some people were having I backed off of it. Hopefully we'll get ours before October.

I didn't pre-order due to another issue. I did order on the 2nd and received mine on the 3rd. I got phantom black 256 GB. I know the other colors where on backorder.

I just got off the phone with Samsung, it looks like it will be here on or around the 21st (not telling with FedEx (I HATE FEDEX))...

Im having same issue with samsungs galaxy watch 4. I ordered it weeks ago and the app says will ship week of Sept 13th and then on the website says will arrive by Oct 10th.

The answer is yes. I ordered unlocked through Samsung on 4SEP (USA, 256GB, Black), and mine will be delivered tomorrow.

I ordered two ZF3s about two weeks ago. My T-Mobile order status still says its being processed with a ship date of 9/9-9/13. I wonder when it will ACTUALLY ship.

Smh. I spoke with one of the Tmobile reps on Twitter, and they told me the same thing that shows on my account - estimated delivery date of 9/17 to 10/7. T-Mobile has been dropping the ball on pre orders for the last few years.

Disagree. Last few years? T-Mobile almost always has my annual preorders delivered to me before Samsung's official release dates. This year I got the Watch4 Classic nearly a week before release and the ZF3 on the day of release.

Yikes, glad I never ordered through T-Mobile. The trade in deals were tough to pass up, but I'm not on a Magenta plan so I didn't get the full benefits. Hopefully you guys get yours soon.

I ordered mine from T-Mobile yesterday (19 September) and they told me that it would ship between 27 October and 11 November. I HAVE TO WAIT OVER A MONTH FOR IT TO SHIP!!!!

Ugh. I might just cancel and buy one elsewhere. The only reason I was getting it through T-Mobile was their $1k trade in but the way it works being stretched over 3 years really sucks.

I'm not cancelling my order until I have one in hand. I am also looking around for anyone willing to take my Note 20 Ultra (512GB with 512GB Card) in partial trade for a 512GB ZF3.

I think it's just a generic delivery date until it's actually shipped, which probably won't occur until tomorrow at the earliest.

Nope, did not pre-order. For several reasons:
Too expensive: It's $249 up front, then a $50 rebate
The rebate is a card. Meaning it's one of those pre-paid Visa cards, which means I can only use it for buying stuff, and not for paying off the credit card.
Only one pre-order per account...I have two lines that are both eligible for upgrades, and I want a G2 for each line. Nope, only one pre-order.
Even if I could pre-order two, with the rebate crap, and upgrade fees, etc., that would mean nearly $600 up front.
It'll only be a week or two after launch that Amazon, Wirefly, etc. is selling it for $99. It's total suckage to have to wait, but if it means saving $300ish, then it's worth it.
Just ordered mine.......it is going to seem like FOREVER for this to get here!!
I think I'm going to wait and try it out in the store first. I was very disappointed with how quiet/crackly the Nexus One's speaker phone was.

I just ordered mine a couple of hours ago, should be here within a couple of days. We have the espresso right now and that phone is actually not a bad phone at all but I'm wanting something a bit beefier and the woman is still using her old g1, so I'm going to get the g2 and she's going to get my old espresso.
I just hope this phone reclaims the throne for android phones again like the g1 did back when it first came out.

I ordered mine. I am selling my Vibrant for this. I am so tired of the Laggy POS that is the Vibrant. I went from Nexus to the Vibrant and now to the G2. I think I will be more pleased with the HTC device.
On another note, I don't think Wirefly will have it for $99. As an example the Vibrant is $99 from wirefly but the Samsung Epic is $199. The Epic is $250.00 from sprint and you get a $50 mail in rebate, so I would expect this phone to be about the same.

[Q] amazon prime order of Note 4 (Verizon)

Pre-ordered on Amazon Prime 9/23/14. Still has not shipped. Any one who has ordered from Amazon in the same boat??

Yesterday I received a notice that they have not received their shipment and it would be delayed. They did not give a time frame when it would ship but said they would ship one day (which I selected) and gave me $20.00 credit. Just an FYI I ordered the white one on 10/7 and my ETA is still listed as 10/24....

That was me. Ordered a black on Oct 6th. I talked to 2 different reps on 2 different days and both told me it would be delivered the 24th. Neither said the phone delivery was gonna be delayed. Although maybe they are telling that to people they oversold to.
As of now i have not received a shipping notification.

Just got off chat with Amazon. Much back and forth about pre-order, I still don't think she understood that whole concept. I preordered on Day 1 - Sep 19, and Amazon is now telling me mine won't be delivered until December. Tempted to post the transcript. It's an embarrassment for Amazon IMO.
My order status still says delivery tomorrow by 8PM., but of course it has not shipped. May just go local, but I'm pretty peeved...what's the point of pre-ordering from the biggest online retailer if they are last in line -- and don't tell you this to keep you from buying somewhere else?
I opted for the free 2 day shipping, so my estimated arrival is on Monday, but there is no updates to my order either. I hope Amazon doesn't screw me over, I already waited patiently with the whole Verizon BS of delaying the Note 4 when every other carrier had it on release day.
I just spoke to a live customer service representative and still have no concrete answer as to what is happening with this order. Really starting to get angry. First I was told that they were out of stock for the galaxy note 4. I explained to him that I understand that the phone is out of stock as of a couple days ago but it was not when I ordered on the 10th of October. He then went on to repeat himself word for word about how the phone is out of stock. This is when I started to get really annoyed because it just seemed like he was giving me the run around. As he was explaining this to me I cut him off and told him that "I understand what you are saying about the phone being out of stock now, but that should have no effect on my pre order since it was in stock when I ordered on the 10th of October. Why would I even bother pre ordering a phone that was out of stock when I could just walk into a store and buy it today. I pre-ordered the phone well over a month ago, it was in stock, I was quoted an estimated delivery time, and at no point have I received any email or text notifications telling me otherwise. What I want to know is where is my phone?" He then tells me that he is going to check into it and puts me on hold. When he came back on I was told, he again starts telling me about how I will receive a notification once the phone ships to which I reply "Well when is it going to ship. Today, tomorrow, next month, or maybe next year? The whole point of me calling you is to find out what is happening with my order and you are telling me absolutely nothing". He then asks if I want to cancel the order. I told him he can cancel the order if he gets me a refund on the $600 worth of Amazon gift cards I have credited to my account. He replies by telling me that he is going to put me on hold so he can see what my options are.
When he came back he told me that he would wave the same day delivery fee and then tells me that the orders are being processed now. I asked again when it will be delivered but could not get a straight answer out of him. Supposedly he is sending me an email regarding the conversation we had (its been about 20 min. no email) . So essentially from what I gather is that no one, and I mean absolutely no one at Amazon has any idea what is happening with these orders and that the guy I was talking to was just trying to pacify me by telling me the orders are currently being processed (I do not believe that at all). As of now it just seems like anyone who pre-ordered the phone through Amazon might just be better off calling your local Verizon or Best Buy stores seeing if they have any in stock, cancel your supposed "pre order" and just by in store. What a pain.
If I didn't have Amazon gift cards I would definitely cancel my order.

Got the same email this morning after talking with Amazon last night. Last night they said it could still ship by midnight and delivery would be today - "could" being the operative word. Today I got the email, and on the phone they said they had NO delivery information and that they had not received their shipment. The problem now appears to be that if you cancel and get it from somewhere else (I did confirm Verizon has black and stock and can ship immediately), you will lose your pre-order trade-in guarantee ($200) from Samsung.
I'm very unhappy with Samsung, Verizon and Amazon - mostly Amazon for their lack of communication. There is no way they couldn't know this before the ship date, and their communication has been dismal at best.
Just cancelled by Amazon order of the Note 4. Called first thing this morning they advised they did not get their shipment and they could not tell me when they are expecting their shipment. Not real pleased with Amazon at this point. Getting ready to go out and hunt this phone down!!!
Got a response from Amazon for an email I sent them today regarding this. They didn't seem to really care about screwing things up and also stated the Samsung offer is not currently honored by Amazon. I know Samsung has recently changed the promo terms and conditions and added the other Galaxy phones to the promo. I no longer see Amazon listed or even a list of accepted retailers. Maybe it's a good thing the phone didn't ship because I was really only getting this phone because of the promo. Amazons communication and resolution to this issue has been terrible.

Customer service couldn't give me any estimate of when they will get the phones in. I was pissed off because at the very least if they communicated this to us early, then I could have preordered elsewhere. Now I'm stuck due to the promo as I did the pre-order and also the trade-in through amazon. Plus I used a bunch of gift cards on it.
Cancelled my order with Amazon and went to local VZW store, Note 4 in hand right now.
I too will never order phones from them again. I'm a prime member and place about 100 orders per year with them. It would take drastic measures to regain my confidence in them when it comes to preorders and purchasing phones.

I am in the exact boat you are. They already took my trade in so I can't do the non- preorder option. If I cancel my order now I get neither promotion.
They gave me a December estimate but told me that it was more likely to be early November. Still too long! I ordered on 9/25...it was not listed as "out of stock" at that time.

I pre-ordered this phone (black) on 27 Sep. Until today at 4 AM they still indicated it would be shipped today w/ estimated arrival of 27 Oct. My current phone is broken, so I chatted with Amazon customer service early this AM to see if I could get my delivery changed to 1-day. The nice lady on customer service said no problem, and even as a one-time exception upgraded me to 1-day shipping for free. Five minutes later, my estimated delivery date changed from 27 Oct to 9 December!! I pre-ordered to take advantage of Samsung's $200 rebate promotion for trade-ins. I can no longer cancel this order and take advantage of that offer at another retailer because the promotion ended on the day the phone was officially released. If they don't ship until 9 Dec I can't even meet the deadline for the pre-order paperwork and won't get the $200 promotion. I'm now stuck with a non-working cell phone waiting indefinitely for them to ship my pre-order. I spoke to multiple customer service agents on the phone (1.5 hours on phone, and hung-up on by one agent during a transfer), including two supervisors, with no resolution and no offer to do anything whatsoever to improve the situation. This lack of communication and disregard for customers is completely unacceptable. BBB / FTC complaints are on their way.

Yikes on the trade-in. Fortunately I haven't done mine yet. Amazon has really dropped it on this one. I told one of the customer service people that Amazon was big enough to get answers from Samsung and Verizon, and that to have hardly any information was unacceptable.

I talked with 4 people and spent a couple of hours on the phone - didn't net me much. After a time, one rep offered me $10 for my trouble, which really ticked me off. I sent him a link here to see the issues people were having, and that Amazon had already refunded someone else $20. I told him I didn't want the money - just answers.
Anyway, after feeling the futility with Amazon, I called Verizon who has them in stock, ready to go, and is giving the $200 trade-in on any smartphone (if you haven't traded it in yet). You can pick them up at most of the stores, or they can ship overnight. Same price, same trade-in, no headaches.
Update... Expected delivery on 10/28!

UK Pre Order-Waiting Room

So I ordered through Mobile phones direct, expected delivery is the 8th, contacted them today and they are saying they will begin shipping on the 7th. This is no use to me and I won't be getting mine on Friday as I live in the northern parts of Scotland. However it is an indication that others Such as 02 & Vodafone will begin on the 7th.

Good Prices - fast shipping (considering it is overseas) and awesome support. Whether they ship on the 7th or 8th, I won't get it until Monday because it is overseas - but it will be worth the wait.

Yup seems to be the trend here in the UK, all suppliers must adhere to the release schedule, pre orders or not.....

man screw tmobile. i ordered like an hour after pre-order opened and still its giving me a 23rd ship date. they didn't even pulled the funds from my account yet. smh.
Until you actually see scans (i.e. a physical package moving within the UPS system) then I wouldn't get too excited. Sounds like the label was electronically sent to UPS but your (phone) isn't going to be handed to UPS for another week. That's 168 hours.

Until you actually see scans (i.e. a physical package moving within the UPS system) then I wouldn't get too excited. Sounds like the label was electronically sent to UPS but your (phone) isn't going to be handed to UPS for another week. That's 168 hours.

In my past experience with Sprint, they would hand them to UPS and UPS was told to hold them until such and such date. Same way apple has always done it.
This year, have the legit sprint order page, UPS, ETC all saying 16th delivery. I'm also less than 2 hours from the sprint warehouse they ship from.
Not saying I will for sure get it, this is just really weird for sprint.

They make the tracking numbers but ups doesnt pick them up until closer to release date.

Past 6 pre-orders not once has Sprint told me my product had shipped until the intended ship date. I knew it shipped early as UPS had tracking, but UPS has ALWAYS picked the package up early and held it. So if that's changed, it's a new practice for Sprint, least for me.
Same thing Apple had done for years. They would ship them early and UPS would hold them sometimes as long as a week before delivering. I think Apple may have stopped though since their packages were obvious and phones were getting out early.
Not to mention I've gotten pre-orders early before. It was actually how I got lucky and got that Samsung bundle of the 256Gb MicroSD and the bluetooth headphones for $100 at the time few years ago. I remember because most of the sprint customers got that deal, most everyone else didn't make it in with a few exceptions. Want to say we had the phone like 3-4 days early that time.
More power to you if you get it early.
But i only heard of a few cases where people did.
I got one phone a day ealry. They ship it with 2day shipping but i live close to the shipping place and got it 1 day early.
But we will see what happens

It might have been the Note 8, hair foggy on all that. I also remember best buy being late by a few days on pre-orders. No one with a best buy pre-order could get the $100 samsung bundle from what I remember. Not a place I'd pre-order from.
I checked another spot it dawned on me to look, UPS's app shows a 16th delivery date, but also list August 21st. Since it's 2 day shipping, the August 21st date would have to be a requested date I imagine. Still going to be earlier than the rest of the carriers I bet

Yeah bestbuy is pretty bad for pre orders. When I worked there we would somehow misplace them only to find them a week later. Sometimes we would receive them but they would sit in our shipping area for days without being scanned in so basically it would show in our system as not in stock. Deliveries were a low priority in our store so even when a customer would show up to pick one up I wasn't able to just scan them in they would have me do something else in the store instead. I highly advise not ordering from them. Those examples are just few of many that would happen. The most extreme examples are breaking them from heavier packages falling on top or actually throwing them into our sorting containers. We return a lot of cellphones for the reason but managers didn't seem to care.
So looks like it's being delivered tomorrow. Still a few days early from what I saw as official release is friday. Got my case in and despite the reviews I saw acting like it was gigantic compared to the Note 9, it's not really that much bigger in physical form. They are nearly identical.

Yeah I went to T-Mobile last week to compare. Can't really tell if they are different or not. Just the screen that's bigger.

I just ordered the Pixel Stand 2 and noticed a delivery date of early February.
Let's see those other delivery dates.

I had to wait until I got my GStore credits for pre-ordering the P6, so today was the earliest day to pre-order the charger :/
Mine says December 21-22 but not holding my breath!
Mine is coming December 15th-16th.
I had initially ordered it with free shipping (December 18th-20th), but when I did that with my phone it took an extra week as FedEx is very slow at delivering packages. When I spoke to a FedEx agent they told me only 2nd day and express delivery get delivered on time...so, I paid a little extra to hopefully get it on the date "promised" since it will be 2 day shipping instead of ground shipping
Small update on the matter: I looked up my order again, and it was automatically moved to mid-December. Jay!
Dec 17th-18th. I preordered as soon as preorders were announced.

December 15th here in Ontario, Canada. I pre ordered the first day it was available tho.

Awesome to hear. I just checked my Google Store order and even though it's not yet shipped, I can't cancel the order anymore, so I guess that's the "first" step towards shipping.
Mine has shipped, royal mail 48 hour delivery, so should be here on Wednesday.

So mine 'shipped' but tracking is still not valid. It is not with the carrier yet. Supposed to be here Friday or Saturday. If it is coming from Carol Stream IL like the phone did it will still probably make it.
Mine's going to be delivered at some point today...Initially was slated for Dec. 15th-16th.
EDIT: It got delivered at 11:00am, a bit over 3 hours ago.
