Hello everybody!
I need your help to fix my phone and I guess other people with the same problem could probably be helped too.
Due to formating of modemfs partition I have Baseband xxxx. So I have no more mobile internet.
Please somebody share your modemfs partition backup for GT-I8160 (also P- and L-Version).

Read again please - I updated the howto seconds ago.... JB or Custom ROM is needed
And yes - It works from any Custom ROM with CWM Recovery intergrated...
It works fine. I went back to stock rom and then i flashed it from stock recovery, not cwm
Hi guys i been testing the new stock rom and all was good but then i notice that wifi were not working, i cant enable it.... [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] i try a factory reset and wipe cache... but nothing work.. i dnt know if this problem is coz the rom is the russia version and there is something wrong with the modem....
If some knows a way tk fix it pls tell.me

Thanks let us know how it turns out.
I think the problem is the baseband (modem) does not change so you have to flash the firmware until baseband updates, you might need to wipe in recovery and flash again

There are no debvelopers for this phone, at least none that are active anymore, or none who have the phone to build it again.

You will have to share me the last stock and custom ROM. I no longer have those too. I will surely try.

Upload it to any cloud, but not Google drive, as that company is useless. You can use NextCloud as well. Also, you can PM me here on XDA and on this thread.

I do not have WhatsApp or Telegram. I am on XMPP only, but that too very rarely. You can PM me here or discuss here itself. I am not online alwqys though..

For the custom ROM, the password it says is incorrect. ""The password is wrong. Try again."" Also, what ROM is this?

I too used samfirm to download. What CSC do you want? I will try to keep without any specific CSC..

it is really safe but the developers has intergrated some third party app inside which is also in chinese. just uninstall it. if some body knows how to extract the boot.img i can do that for you and upload to the gpogle drive

For who don't know, this is a rom for chinese users. It uses chinese apps, market. NO Google Play and other wwe apps.

Same here, twrp is giving me a invalid file format error. May be the download is corrupted, I think we need a dev help in order to install this ROM,

Would have given it to you but I am not on that version.
How did you disable/uninstalled it? Cuz if you used Saki tools to debloat you should have a backup apk to restore.

I think any version would work as its a Android 9 File... willing to try it out...
Unfortunately I did it through command line.... Now I know better....

com.android.providers.downloads is Download_9.apk
com.android.providers.downloads.ui is the other one.
Not sure if that's going to help but that's the best I can do.
