You can crossflash to an android 10 kdz but data may or may not work correctly. There's a crossflashing thread for lg g7.

I can tell you with a 95% of confident that e98x series will not get the stock lollipop update. Reason one, the optimise series had been discontinued. Reason two, this device is more than two years old. If it was gonna happen, it would have happened by now. Third reason, marshmallow beta had been out a few months already, and lollipop was a troubled some pos os. If it hadn't happened by now, it's never gonna to now.
yes, you are right and your answer is logical, thanks for passing by,,,
cheers,,,

Shouldn't all the G4s have Android 6 by now?

I'm running an LG G4 model number LG-F500K that I bought in Korea (on the KT network), and I still don't have Android 6. Last I remember, Poland was getting the update last year October... the last update I received was in January, and it was just a minor update. Is there any good reason I'm still sitting on Android 5?

You probably have been only checking for OTA in your settings correct? I had same issue on G3, it said no updates available when Marshmallow was released long time ago so I had to use LG update tool in order to get 6.0 update
Quick question here does the korean model of G4 has any bootloop (ILAPO) issue ? Any reported ? Or is it all 505 to 509?

A week after I updated, it bootlooped :crying: And of course LG is not helping at all - they want to charge me +/-$300 to fix it...

Any chance to get CM for lg g4 h818p or any roms that are close to stock android?

I was using a phone with a stock android before I got my lg g4, and I very much prefer the stock android experience over the lg custom version. I got a the duel sim version of the lg g4 (h818p), unfortunately Cyanogenmod hasn't been released for this version yet (maybe will never be)! So, is there any chance that they will do it in the future? Or are there any other roms that I can run on my lg g4 that can give the stock android experience or something close?

Difference between android 6 and android 7 on carrier unlocked sprint lg g5?

I just bought sprint lg g5 phone which was unlocked(i dont know if it's officially unlocked by sprint or from other methods). Cellular and data is working. hotspot is working good(after i created data apn). The phone was on android 7. I downloaded update only once(which to my amusement caused great heating) and then the software was in zva. Then i read in some threads that updates above zva is not safe(i was lucky i viewed that thread at right time).
So, i have some few questions. Can i downgrade to marshmallow? Are there any advantages of marshmallow over nougat firmware(like battery life)? Can i safely root? What are the chances of hard bricking or other problems if i tried to downgrade from zva firmware?
