compiling AOSPA 3.+ for HTC ONE V (primou)
hello everyone as we all know now all developers are busy with there own rom and many of them left this HOV thread.
We don't have many developers to build a new rom for us, that's why we people are having less number of rom in HOV's thread.
So i have decided to start a new project in which we will c compile the AOSP3.+ rom from the source, but the problem is I am not a developer or programmer or any kind of genius.
so what i am going to do is i need a team in which we all can work together and try our best to port this rom from source successfully
anyone who is interested in this can reply to this thread, I'll be glad to having as much as people possible
If i get a team then, we all gonna work according to this guide -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1863547

great but i suggest that you make space for ubuntu it would be a better option, if you can or else vm is fine
Vm is fine if you have a LOT of ram, because otherwise the compiling process will take days lol..
If you make a partition, make it at least 70gb, some sources are even 50gbs..

So, let's try to build roms for honor 6 !!! Any help is welcome ....
I don't have the skills but I'm willing to support the initiative as far as I can!
Sounds like the same issue i had, check google-cert folder that you have it and also build the files so that you edit default storage path. It was a few months ago i tried to build my own and i ended up with similair problem and it was related to missing cert and wrong storage path.
Im no expert, its just a hobby of mine so i might be wrong

I have in my hands this info from the first hour I took the phone. I have built a whole device tree not only the partitions. Anyway, I appreciate any help. The big problem is that some sources of Huawei are not given. Especially for the kirin920 soc. That's why development is very difficult. Anyway, I am still trying for building... For any news, I will immediately tell you.

I've no doubt about this. @spanorg please help codeworkx (this IP the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58283578).
He's searching for a tester whit competences. I think your help could be more precious now, you are a recognized developer and you can do more than a tester. you can collaborate whit him, and finally became our leader.
(we can ask for donations or other, if possible, to support your works)
Thanks.

What do you need?
Here's a kernel for inline building:
https://github.com/codeworkx/android_kernel_huawei_h60
In original sources, have at look at drivers/vendor/hisi.
There are some "acore" folders with android userspace stuff. Doesn't belong there, but it's there.
I've seen some kirin stuff for bionic.
For everything else you have to use their libraries and make them working with aosp.
I assume this requires a ****load of bad hacks.

Yeah, I've been working last week on some stuff for Flo, but unable to test since my USB is dead. I got one guy to do it, waiting for him.
I've got no solder now, so can't fix my flo yet. Gonna do it later.

Apologies for naivete, I just repo sync'd Unlegacy Android Pie thinking that since Flo was in the branch that it was already possible just no one was compiling it.
Again, just a brand-nubian banging my head against obstacles until they give, is it not possible to take say a Marlin P kernel and run it through LazyFlasher to make it Flo friendly?
LazyFlasher is a custom kernel flashing tool designed to make it easy to dynamically modify ramdisks and inject kernel binaries into the current boot image.
It's the swiss army knife of kernel flashing for use in Team Win Recovery Project.
The intent behind it was to allow a 1 custom kernel fits all approach, where your users can flash single zip on any ROM for a particular device,
allowing your kernel to be compatible with the vast majority of custom ROMs already out there. It takes away the pain of building custom boot.img
for each and every variant a user requests and puts it into 1 low maintenance intelligent universal flashable zip.

Hello. So is a custom ROM, or Lineageos now available for the Xperia 10 III? I know nothing about programming a phone, so this is something I may not do on my own. I really just need a new phone (still using a 2013 iPhone 5S) but refuse to use Google or Apple's ecosystem (anymore). I also refuse to use a phone made in China, nor lacks a headphone jack and the only other phones that meet these criteria are too large for me (even this one is on the large end). So does anyone have steps to degoogle this phone, as of the near future or so, so I may order this phone asap? I have Windows, Mac, and will be downloading a Devuan-based Linux distro on another computer soon. Otherwise, I know LineageOS has come out for the Xperia 10 II, but how does that one compare to this one?

GSI is no a custom rom its a Generic System image , its update only /system ( os framework ) and use blobs, drivers from your /vendor , GSI is universal and run in all devices treble .
They are no custom rom available in public actually for this devices , source for custom rom is availlable but unstable in use ( sound only in headset , ril bug ... )
actually if you want run lineage or other custom android os use PHH GSI , or wait for custom rom ( NO ETA ).
