Hi, I recently bought the mi mix from Verizon carried in Spain, it came with MIUI 9.2.1 I got an update to 9.2.12, but on MIUI page I see that there is a 9.5 stable version I think Vodafone is blocking the update with this modified MIUI version, I wanna know if is safe to unlock bootloader and flash the ROM from MIUI download page
yes, I have managed to install even miui 10 in mi mix 2 of vodafone españa
Hello, all. My device is Poco F3 Indonesia and have reflash to mi11x version because I prefer MI version over Poco However, there is a problem with the absence of NFC even though my device already supports.
Is there a way to re-enable NFC?

Stock ROM for Mi 11X (Indian version) hasn't software support for NFC because Mi 11X phone hasn't hardware for NFC. If u want Mi launcher u can use china stock ROM or xiaomi.eu ROM (stable or weekly).

i like xiaomi.eu rom but it doesn't support indonesian language, because poco stock rom can't install mi launcher. The Chinese stock rom, the name is redmi k40, also is the miui redmi version, there is indeed a mi launcher, but it doesn't support the Indonesian language

You can ask Xiaomi.eu to include it. Their decision to include or not though.
You can even contribute to translate and port it.
They need people understand at least English and the target language to port it in their Rom. If you find no Indonesian, be the first one.
Also heard some myth: some device can get Mi-launcher after factory reset. Not sure if it's true or not.

Do you know how to contact the administrator of xiaomi.eu? Because my account can't login

You register a new account there, it is not official MIUI website, so Mi-account won't work.
Indonesian translation
xiaomi.eu

Or find this guy:
ingbrzy
He's one of them making Xiaomi.eu MIUI
Seems devs of xiaomi.eu are not so eager to add Indonesian language to their ROM.

Yep. I'm a lucky one. My native language is avail in this ROM
Can I upgrade from global to EU without format? Is encryption same?
On global rom there is also no support for NFC..
If u mean EU=xiaomi.eu, then NO...u have to Format data after u flashed the ROM.
Is any other way for enabling NFC on global firmware? Phone is rooted..
Stock ROM for Mi 11X (Indian version) hasn't software support for NFC because Mi 11X phone hasn't hardware for NFC. If u have Poco F3 (international version) and other ROM than indian version, there is a problem if NFC does not work.
My phone is global. Hw info shows that I have nfc (picture attached).
But there is no option anywhere in settings.
I had the themes app on my previous global rom, yesterday I returned my mix fold to original Chinese latest stable software.
I can't see themes app? Any idea?
What ? How do you experience Mi Mix Fold with Global rom, please guide me

I don't know how I received my Mi Mix Fold with Global rom as no official Global rom yet.
My Experience is:Selfie camera has a lot of bugs
No PC mode
Screen issues (fold / unfold)
No OTA
Google is working fine
Android Auto is working
I immediately removed the global rom and fastbooted the latest chines rom, its much more stable and OTA is available.
So my redmi note 8 pro was a Chinese variant on which I installed the global rom and now I want to switch to EU rom. Can I install the EU rom through MI flash tool just how I flashed global rom? Or does EU rom require custom recovery?

They said EU rom usually they talk about custom Miui rom, not EU global one. And EU custom don't support this device long time ago. EU Global one is nearly same with Global rom. So i suggest you should use Indo rom or India rom (No NFC) and Miui mod by Santoshhh for Gapps and Miui dialer. You can also use China, China beta and flash Gapps. And if you dont need Miui features, you can flash other custom roms for Battery backup or Performance or Customization.
I've installed (redmi k30s ultra) dev beta rom on bootloader locked mi 10t pro global and camera is not working. i installed that beta rom using rename trick of rom file name through updater app. well i tried same to go back to global version but its not working showing verfiy errors even though rom is downloaded from xiaomi site. all i want do is go back to global verison.. is there any way to do it without unlocking bootloader?
AFAIK, there is no pro exquivalent of the mi 10t sold in china so the CN rom doesnt support your camera. You can use root to manually replace camera blobs from global rom but I bet you end up with a soft brick.
Just wait for global beta
