There use to be a mod on a10 for the tap lockscreen stuff, doesn't work on a11. Gravity box works fine with lsposed.

I've been doing a lot of searching and it seems that the only way to hide the status bar in the lockscreen is to use widget locker. Widget locker causes more trouble than its worth when using a password/pin in my opinion. Nova Launcher allows hiding of the status bar but it doesn't apply to the lockscreen.
Is there a way that this can be achieved without using Widget Locker? Thanks in advance.
If its any help, im running CM10.1

You could probably edit the smali code. Or when i get the time i will try an idea i have that will require you to install an apk and thats it.
Thanks for the reply. I looked into editing the smali code and the process seems a bit too advanced for me. If you have time, it would be much appreciated. I know that a lot of people are looking for the same thing.
Me too... I wish in the stock launcher I can toggle the status and dock.
Bump

Havent gotten to it sorry! :/ lots of stuffs to do
A n00b's question here: will it be compatible with i9500 (Exynos)? Since I started using DashClock I too would love to hide the notification bar while on lockscreen.
Regards.
Hey guys, did a quick test with this and it is going to require a system mod. OR i can using root, disable the status bar. But you won't be able to drag it down at all or possibly receive notifications (haven't tested that) but if i mod SystemUI.apk i should be able to make it hide the status bar and still allow you to swipe down to show it again.

Thanks for checking into it. Keep us updated.
Hey guys, just searched google and found this thread.
Completely forgot i posted here way back when.
Got a new handset, keeping it fairly light.
Still wanna be able to hide the status bar on lock screen.
Forcing full screen on systemUI via xposed mod would effectively do it yeah?
What other screens would be affected?
curious as well

Nice idea, but didn't work... tried on keyguard as well.. nothin. Was pretty sure that was the lockscreen apk itself.. maybe not though.

I know of an xposed module that can do this, It's called
"lock Screen Widgets" works on Android Lollipop and Marshmallow. On the various tweaks that this module offers there's an option to hide the status bar in lockscreen. Like I've said, this module only hides the status bar, but it can still be pulled down.

Dear all,
one of the features that I miss in LG Stock v500 v4.4.2 is that lockscreen pattern is limited to 3x3. While this seems to be the default for stock Android, CM11 allow using extended dimensions for the lockscreen (4x4, 5x5, ...).
Is there any way to import the lockscreen from CM11 to support these extended dimensions? Or can we change the LG's lockscreen somehow to extend it?
Thank you!
There's an for Xposed module called "CyanLockScreen" which does exactly what you want from Cyanogenmod by having a pattern lock with a bigger grid size

Thanks Pman, I'll give it a try tonight!
Basically I want the ability to set the lockscreen wallpaper to whatever screen I was on last, and I also want to have the ability to blur it. I tried using gravitybox for this purpose but it doesn't work with my phone (ls990 G3). I'm rooted. Any suggestions?
Thanks
hi guys,
so ive just came from a galaxy s4. oneplus 3 is a masive step up. This may sound stupid but how do i change the lock screen wallpaper, there where many ways to do it on the S4 but i just cant find a way to do it on the oneplus 3, thanks in advance
Long press empty space on display, pick wallpaper on lower left, it shows 2 wallpapers and you toggle between lock (L) and home (R)

I tried and could not for the life of me find where to set lockscreen wallpaper, I can only find the option to change desktop to whatever I wanted.
I CAN however, change the lockscreen background to one of my ugly photos that I took, but not the stock wallpapers if I use gallery to set it.
The main thing I really wanted to do is to change the lock screen wallpaper to a dynamic wallpaper called Starfield 2, it is a black background with start wizzing by type of wallpaper, and more likely than not it would be saving energy on an AMOLED display. Plus, they just looked so much better than a standard bright and colorful wallpaper that never changes.
I dont think u can do live wallpapers on the lockscreen

I uninstalled the stock gallery already so I can't check there, but if I go into my gallery (QuickPic) I can select a picture, then go to the top right three dots, "Use as" and then I have to option to set it as lockscreen picture.

not on oneplus 3, but you can do that easily on Sony Xperia Z2 and other products (I got Z2 and Z4 tablet here, both does that just fine).
Does anyone know, how to change wallpaper without stock launcher?
Or better, how to set system to use the same wallpaper for lockscreen as my launcher?
I know that this is an old thread, but I'd like to see on lockscreen the same wallpaper I set on the system.
Is there a way on OOS 3.2.6?

Anyone found a solution? I want to use the google wallpaper apps daily backgrounds but it can't apply lockscreen wallpapers, only homescreen. Can we just delete the lockscreen wallpaper with a root explorer?

Mi A2 Lite is an Android One device, meaning you don't have many customisation options, so I don't think there is a way to hide the clock on lockscreen. You can search for lockscreen apps on Play Store, which change your lock screen to a 3rd party app (most of them aren't as stable as stock though) :good:
You can have custom lockscreen but I don't think that is possible without root, or even better - xposed.
I am using Lock screen clock mods (xposed tweak) and its working great.
