Hi All
Just wanted to let you know its officially not available yet to the SA public but should hit the Vodacom and MTN stores within the next month.
I know the Marketing Director of Samsung SA and he aranged for me to buy one directly from the Importers. I might be able to get a few more if there are any interest to it.
I have added some pics to it when I unpacked it and it is the International version of the extended battery kit. Don't be fooled and buy the Asian one. The back cover wont fit.
The correct product code for the GS2 Battery Extender Kit is : EB-K1A2EBEGSTD
Then I have added a Screenshot of my usage so far on the battery. Now please note I have only got the battery yesterday and I am still running the Stock XFA 2.3.3 android so this will be very controlled testing.
Check out the pics.
Hey guys,
Just wondering if the battery for the i9300 version, and the SGH-i747 model is the same battery? If I buy a battery that has i9300 on the back will it work on my i747 model? When sellers list compatible devices, the i9300 is one of them, but the i747 isn't so just wondering. Thanks.
My battery number is also EB-L1G6LLA and most of the batteries I'm finding are EB-L1G6LLU is that also okay with the i747 model?
Yes they are the same

I'm currently looking into this myself. I normally buy my batteries off of eBay without problem. However, this time I rushed when I did and just purchased batteries for the Galaxy S3 without doing the comparison for Canadian model to US. I received a battery for my Telus GS3 which is the SGH-i747M, but the battery was for the i9300. I decided to try it anyway because they are pretty much the same phone.
My results:
- the phone works just fine
- battery life is approx 1/2 (4 hours normal usage - for me, 10% drain per hour in stand-by)
- OEM battery does not charge with the wall charger I received with the batteries
Has anyone else run into this situation? I'm thinking I might try again but with the proper specs (ie not rush), but if I can get an answer before I spend more cash, it would be better!
Cheers,
Chris
they ARE NOT THE SAME!!!! WARNING!
eb-l1g6llu vs eb-l1g6lla----- im going thru the same thing and this is what ive found out/learned,, the eb-l1g6llu is a crappy "replacement" sure it fits and chargers and powers up but the battery life is nowhere near what our original batteries give us,, in 43 minutes i was down to 70% left! see pic-- i also felt a difference in weight so i weighed them both and the eb-l1g6llu actually weighs less so im sure would be another reason for the sucky life,, im currently sending my eb-l1g6llu back to the seller for a full refund since they are horrible,, also you will notice that the eb-l1g6llu has chinese writing on it-see pic- hints another reason it sucks,, they are just cheaper batteries that are the same size but not same weight and the 2100mah written on it is a total lie, my original battery is the one on the left on both pics,, im currently messaging a different seller on ebay where ive explained all this,, he is selliing the EB-L1G6LLZ which comes in the verizon s3 but will work in all sg3's but he also mentioned that the EB-L1G6LLA is any "original battery" and its just different cause of the carrier,, but again the eb-l1g6llu is just a flat out fake cheap battery people are selling just to rip you off,, when i get the EB-L1G6LLZ from him if it works properly with "real" battery life like the ones that came with our s3's then ill come back and reply with his link so hopefully nobody else will get screwed over,, thanks for reading ,.,.
peace,.,. chuck
Actually not... The battery is either fake or not, it is not related to the model so directly. My International S3 came originally with EB-L1G6LLU battery=

Have just contacted online Samsung support, they told me that there's really no difference between these and other model numbers, it's just another production run (batch), and the batteries are actually the same.
Hi, I bought a Galaxy Note 2 from S. Korea in my visit but now I am back in my country and having problems with my battery. So naturally, I thought how can I replace my battery. However, when I take a quick look on the google I realized international version of battery and Korean version of battery have different code names as;
Int : EB595675LA
Kor : EB595675LK
and I am wondering is there anyone tried the international battery on Korean SHV-E250* phones? Is it compatible ? Otherwise, I would have to pay 4 times to order from S. Korea.
Thanks
They look the same and same volts so most likely they are 100% the same just different model numbers.
are also the Amp's the same?
I just bought a new g4 battery from lg service center in Turkey but I found that the battery was made and assembled in china. Unlike the old one it was assembled in china.
My question is : anyone one had the same experience with a nrw original LG battery ?

Hey there
I just purchased a regular S20 in India (exynos...)
I'm currently using my European sim card in it alongside an Indian sim with no issue (except battery life but that's another topic...)
Just want to make sure that this phone will work 100% fine when I'm back in Europe?
Many thanks for your help!!
