I use "Tiny ADB & Fastboot v1.2.0 Portable" if that isn't working I would suggest looking for working/compatible drivers for the phone. It's only those 2 things to get connected with a PC.
Also on a sidenote, switching usb ports may also work. I found out sometimes USB 2.0 works better than USB 3.0. And perhaps look for new(er) USB drivers for your computers motherboard.
And perhaps the error 2 may be due to permissions, make sure to launch adb as an administrator.

I agree with running adb from an administrative command prompt or powershell.
I always use the files from this article

Root Failure after A2SD

Hi trusty XDA-peoples... I've been on the modaco forums the past 12 hours and have had no luck. I have a bung Desire after following the Apps2SD update (the goldcare and root went 100% fine). I used the old method and have just tried Paul's new method. The result is the same (I've tried it in 3 different Linux distros, it still says "device not found"). I'm only getting this 'device not found' AFTER I applied the A2SD zip update on the modaco forum (first page on the root instructs).

If anyone can help, that'd be much appreciated. The phone was on the red-triangle when this error occurs, and I've also tried it on the "different screens" (which doesn't make sense but I tried them anyway - on hboot screen and fastload screen) - still device not found...
Thanks guys.
I had a similar issue running the initial root through a virtualbox. I got this when I hadn't allowed the 'generic' android phone access through the virtual-usbs.
You have a usb driver problem.
Solutions:
1. try another computer
2. there's a free utility USBDview that lists all your usb devices/drivers installed on your computer and allows you to delete them so that they get reinstalled when connected.

I solved this problem myself. So I thank myself. Thank you JihangirKHAN you are the best
Just install LG Mobile Support Tool. B2Cappsetup.exe
then click "install usb driver" option.
when finished the pc will meet with your phone.

This is interesting, because when I use old original stock rom, my notebook never wanted additional driver to see my LG P350...

adb

So I just got my old htc one back to stock so I can send it back to htc..Now my problem is that abd recognizes my new device but says its offline and from what i have read sounds like a driver problem which I know is not the case or usb debbuging isnt checked which its on device and i dont have any type of lock on it.So if anyone has any other suggestion would be kool...
Uninstall the driver anyway (though Dev. Mgr.) so no phone is recognized. Then reinstall your new phone's drivers.

make sure the screen is on when you plug it in and debuging on the phone is on. it will ask you if you want to connect to the pc with adb, something like what i posted below.

How to install Nexus 6 / 5X / 6P Drivers in Windows 7 where fastboot can see it?

I have the Nexus 5X drivers installed properly on Win7 64bit and it shows up in my device manager as Nexus 5x. I can verify that it gets detected as I see it in chrome inspect page. But when i try to do a adb devices or fastboot devices, it wont see the phone. what could i be doing wrong?
And yes I can transfer files when I select MTP mode.

Install it manually
right click on device and then select update driver then choose pick from computer and go to driver directory and select to install.
manual installation on adb + fastboot helped me several times. hope it solve ur problem too
:good:
Also, try updating or installing java. People have been reporting the same issue on other threads, and that seemed to fix it.
