I've tried anything, using different stocks miui (12.0.2, 12.0.4, 12.0.5) from differents regions (global, china, europe) and nothing seem to fix the problem. It only happens on custom roms. Pls help me, i'll even provide logs. PLS
R means it's on Roaming.
It's a known issue caused by kernel packing. Afaik HentaiOS latest beta has the fixes for it. Check your dm and I'll send you their telegram link.
Also a temporary fix would be to switch from 5G/LTE to 3G/H+. This should fix the crashes.

- Download speed (both Play Store & http file transfers)
- Time required to get a GPS fix
I'm asking because with all versions above Global 7.3.5.0 it is impossible to download anything faster than 500kB/s and getting a GPS fix takes up to 20min after which it is getting lost pretty easily. Just trying to understand if my phone is faulty or if it's rather a software issue, I have seen some other dudes having similar problems over at MIUI board. I have a 32GB version.

Gps is realy quick in sweden, i have conf it to eu servers,
i download over 3, 4mb/s so its not a problem!

Try and reboot the device without finishing the setup wizard, it happened several times to me that simcard did not get registered with the first boot.

i tried several times, even skipped setting wifi, so my mobile data is activated, still no go...
For unknown reason Micloud is Forceclosing.
Contacts are closing. Dialer is from Miui8.
camera is from Miui8 - worse camera ever. manual mode is with predefined in every aspect.=> no longer.. MANUAL.
Browser is from Miui8 again...
So far... what I've noticed!
Can some of you guys tell about wifi reception? I'm on miui 8, 6.9.8 e way worst then my Lg G3. side by side, g3 does have internet and mi5 doesn't. Thanks
Well, if it's to compare.. then Mi4C beats the hell out of Mi5. Wifi and GPS reception and GSM....
I have no problem with wifi in my unit. And i'm in 6.9.8 also. Did you wiped cache and davilk after flash?! it was a dirty flash or a clean flash?
Well... It's not to compare, but is frustrating. If it was bad but with internet no problem.. But, weak signal with no internet...meh

hi, i am having problem with network using custom rom, sudden network restart/disappear and sometimes my phone go back to lockscreen while the network disappear. been using 4g and happen while onload with download or streaming, when active on hospot too.. happen with many custom rom that i tried with different kernel/stock/clean flash such as, crdroid with harfix kernel, aoscp with clean flash without install any apps, aex 1st build and latest build by dave. maybe my 4g network problem, i dont know but there's no problem with 4g signal.. just wanna know if someone having this problem. not happening too often tho.. and hard to replicate the problem..but its not a big deal to me...just wanna know.. thanks.

Phone doesn't receive 2fa messages, bank codes, etc.
What I've tried:
- checking sms center number
- disabling MIUI optimizations
- changing settings of messaging app (disabling block list, enabling miui sms)
- disabling volte
- reflashing global 10.0.2.0 miui via fastboot with full wipe
This is chinese phone with unlocked bootloader which came with global 10.0.1.0 miui.
I was able to fix this on another Mi Max 3 with chinese 8.8.9 ROM by disabling MIUI optimizations if I remember correctly, but it doesn't work on this one...
Any idea how to fix this?

Their apps are garbage. Use Textra.
I've tried another SMS app, but it doesn't help
have u tried put sim card to second slot? for me phone shows incorrect info, 2ns slot is 1st sim, 1st slot is 2nd sim, on all global ROMs, since MIUI 9. so, maybe changing slot for a while may help. I wish you success

Agreed, which is why we're eagerly awaiting custom rom development . People said Pie sources are leaked for Miui? Any info on your end?

Where do u live and what service are u on? Sounds like it could be either a rom or service problem

This phone is on MTS in Russia
Another Xiaomi phone receives messages normally with this SIM card
Maybe I'll try installing chinese developer ROM later
My poco m2pro mobile earpiece suddenly not working yet, give me se suggestions to overcome this issue
If its as a result of an update or so, u can either try flashing a custom rom (or a previous update of stock rom) or u could have to go to service centre. But preferably, before that just check out the telegram group of the phone to know if others have that issue and if they have a solution.
It happens with all poco users even they not updated it.

Network Signal Guru is a cool tool, but its Advanced Mode has only worked on a couple of ROMs I've tried. It works on OOS and Lineage for me. On crDroid and Nameless, it says "Adapted base-band and driver is installed: No compatible devices were detected." I don't use crDroid anymore, but I'd like to have this fixed on Nameless. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Would love to have NSG Advanced Mode working (no, I don't care about band locking, just want the extra info it provides).

Maybe. I ended up switching back to Lineage and I forgot about this thread. I'm not sure if it's possible to close it, but I don't need this anymore.

Guys help anyone very please. After using the program at some point configured so that I can not call and receive calls, only sms, and the only solution - volte, which also flies off, and works when selected in the phone settings NR/LTE/CDMA/EvDo (it flies constantly).
Contacted the operators, sent me to hell saying the phone does not support (xiaomi Poco f3)?
Or should I move to other specific thread?
