Level 3 Camera2 API

Does Redmi Note 5 Pro(India) support Level 3 Camera 2 API? Maybe in one of the custom ROMs?
I'm asking so as to know if this mod is supported by our phone.

I have tested if our device support Level 3 by an app name Camera2 probe the result is no. It doesn't support Level 3 Camera 2 API.
* Using MIUI 10 Redmi Note 5 AI (China)

Check ROM s, kernels....etc...section....
But I'm getting back to RR 'cause aex felt same like RR in battery and performance with a major bug "bt audio isn't working"..and I have bt headphones only....

Working in miui 9.5.11.0 global
I have successfully installed the ported Nokia camera and it's working successfully , way more than Gcam for me anyway .
Also unlike Gcam it detects the front cam as 20 mp instead of the usual 5mp by third party apps.
My room is miui 9.5.11.0 global with camera2api enabled manually.

There are a few steps you need to enable it in MIUI

You have to be on oreo to support level 3 api

Miui 10 beta with camera2 API.

Enable Camera 2 api And if you have enabled it so just instal the urikill gcam and as of now other gcams are not performing well though you can try may be it works for you and In last of nothing works that flash RN5 Camera patch v1 magisk and enjoy

I did enable camera 2 API and but urikill gcam front camera is not working and video the camera is crashing.
And can you give me the link of RN5 pro camera patche I searched but can't find it .

Yes but only 1 can be enabled at a time. You need to uncheck the other module.

With Mi A1 camera everything works well! but with Mi A2 camera, Google Camera crashes when I take a photo.

When the camera sees a person It disconnects and app disables xd?

Any way to disable the shutter sound? Unchecking it in the settings doesn't do anything.

Both A1 and A2 cameras are the same

Yeah, it seems to be happening only on 4.9. I've been using this on previous ROMs and it was working perfectly before.

Just updated to latest version of Liquid Rom and Magisk v18 so thought I'd give it another go... Latest version of the A2 camera is working now (downloaded via Magisk manager), tested portrait mode and all good ?

Everything works on my Note 5 China red, minus the HDR on the front camera (black screen) and 4k video(take full hd). No root or patch required. Just a decent rom that supports camera2api.

i got v7.3 to work lagfree, on miui 12 eu stable, the patch "com. qti. chi. override. so" is supposed to be copied to vendor/lib/hw..instead of system/vendor/lib/hw (actually this directory doesn't exist in miui 12 eu stable), if you are using twrp to copy the file, remember to mount vendor first

Go to Settings>Aux cameras and enable wide angle lens. Then there should be a button in the viewfinder to switch lenses.
