Hello,
I can't turn on flash in video calls while using the rear camera, it only works while using the front camera, otherwise, it says "flash not available"
I tried to reset the camera app to defaults and delete cache.. etc, I also tried to use external flash apps and it only works with the front camera but not with the back even if I use the icon from the control center.
please help

I don't know if this is recent or I have just not noticed it but it is very frustrating. When I try to take a panoramic photo, or anything using the gyroscope for a guide it leans the dots to the left. In my photo I used the square mode because it shows it the best. I have tried to calibrate my gyro with an app and it seems to be calibrated but the app still messes up. I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall the camera app but if anyone else has had this problem please let me know how you were a able to fix it.

Main camera works fine but when I try to switch front camera nothing appears, just black screen. Help pl0x.

same issue here.. found out any solutions? opening the camera from the gallery app seems to be a temporary fix
Happened to me too. I had to send my phone back to the factory for repair.
The camera on my phone is not starting. I get this error (see attachment if the pic is not loading):

The flashlight in always in "on" mode, when i run the flashlight app.. But, the flash itself if off.. I have deleted the cache partition.. No luck.. I Did a soft reset, no luck.. I did a hard reset, yet the same error.. WTF?????
Any advice?? I use the stock rom. I have not rooted this phone.. Everything is as the manufacturer wanted it to be..

Unlocked my device and installed 9.5.19 from fastboot everything ok and google cameras working fine but stock camera app so bad no portraid mode ? And no auto hdr mode and hdr is not working. And now camera app completely deleted after reboot, I didn't do anything Idk how to get back.

It seems my front cam is not working. I am not able to select it. When I open up the cam I don't have a button to change cam.
And if I am for example calling with WhatsApp the button for changing cam is grey.
I am afraid my front cam is somehow broken. So I want to try to restore the phone to it's original ROM. If that doesn't help, I will have to get it fixed by Xiaomi.
I am currently running LOS 15.1.
Haven't been able to find a way to restore the phone to it's original state.
Any help would be appreciated.
