Dungeon Defenders: First Wave HD

I downloaded this game a couple day ago and cant stop playing it! It just went free in the market recently and it's playable without multitouch. The graphics and gameplay are unmatched by any other game on android due to Unreal Engine.
The only downfall (I'm not really complaining) is that after the game is installed it downloads 600 megabyes of data to the internal memory for tutorials, levels, etc
Trendy Entertainment has announced a PvP expansion as well.
Now I'm sad that I have to lose my game data to install the latest firmware and market mod
Downloading now.
Looking at the graphics from the screen shots in Market, you should get Pocket Legends. It has similar graphics, its free and it was the first MMO for Android. Cross platform play with iPhone/iTouch also.
Thanks, I'll have to look into that. I noticed an issue with Dungeon Defenders today. I was playing the second level and my attack button stopped working. I don't know if the touchscreen got too warm after two and a half hours of straight gameplay or it it was just locking up on me. It cost me the level
I just downloaded pocket legends but it stays at the connecting to server screen forever. Im on the latest firmware with the market mod

EA free games not full games

I've just downloaded a couple of the EA free games via the Xperia Play app but have noticed that Dead Space and D.A.R.K are just 60 minute trial versions. Is this correct or do I need to create an account to get them unrestricted for free???
All ea use this mechanism, if its a free game after 60 mins you will normally be taken to the payment options.
With the free games, they just flick over to the full version, you can force this by pressing 'my account' also!
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
Simply login after downloading the data files, the game shows as free then ready for play.
D.A.R.K is not free.
Only Dad Space, Battlefield 2, NFS Shift, NFS Hot Pursuit, and FIFA 12 are free. His my account on the boot menu and it will switch to "Free to Play"

Did you go to "My Account" on the launch screen of it? That unlocks it then hit play.

Game mode in galaxy Nexus

I don't know how to code and everything and it is not a request just an Idea :
To play games ( heavy games ) we don't really need everything else opened, because since we play games we don't really want to be disturbed
So I thought that we can create a Game Mode that freezes every app opened ... and copy it in sd card ( like swap ) like home whatsapp google+ and everything that will let us have a lot more Ram availlable to play with and it will be blazing fast.
and when we close the game all the apps return like they were from the sd card
Just a suggestion ! thanks for reading.

2Gb zf2 won't keep apps in memory..

Hey guys I m not able to run two games ie beach buggy blitz and riptide gp2 at a time, if running one other closes... restarts upon opening.. But a reviewer called allabouttechnologies played Mc5, gta San Andreas and nova i guess and all resumed from where they are on the same 2gb model... wtf is wrong with my phone?? not able to get proper help....
Video here: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YvZYOybbZd0
Also my ram never goes below 300mb.. No matter how many apps i run in the background... they just close in the background... And I have seen users getting 200 odd free ram... not in my case... so it may be the latest update?
I've never played two games at once because that's ridiculous. But to answer your question android's memory management is killing 1 game in order to reclaim more RAM & avoid the critical state. I imagine those games each need a lot, so the 4GB variant would be better for you.
"I'd Totally Hug You, If That Was Something I Did"
Yeah I know nobody would play two games at a time... But how did the guy in the video do that?? And when i m on coc or any other game if i get a WhatsApp notification and if i see the msgs and revert back to game it would restart.. And there would be no other running apps in background...
I can do that in my 4GB version. Maybe 2GB isn't enough? Moreover, there are many memory leak issues in 5.0 so memory management is very unpredictable.

[Q] Per-game resolution?

Hi,
I've dug through the G4's chaotic settings, and the "gaming optimiser" isn't exactly descriptive.
I tested the following games:
1. Modern Combat 4
2. Minecraft PE
3. Summoners War
4. Deemo
Now, in MC4 and SW, the soft nav buttons are displayed, meaning the device is rendering the games at 2k resolution. That's overkill.
However, in Deemo and MCPE, the soft nav buttons are hidden, and gameplay is buttery (1080p)
I believe the latters are detected as a game, whilst the first ones aren't.
Is there a way to "fool" the device into thinking that... "A game IS a game"?
Or even better, a way to specify resolution per app?
Thanks

I wish there was a way to fool the G4 into thinking an app is a game so it runs in a HD resolution vs QHD. I'd like to run Chrome as a game because it is the app I use most and the battery savings would be nice. App Settings xposed allows changing resolution per app but does it really work?
